  1. "It's actually one of the rare thing that are harder said than done, if you just try to reach for the power in the nicrosil part and your body will understand how to do it, then you visualize the memory you want to store and you push it into the copper, once again, your body will know how to do it."
  2. Reckoners (major spoilers) Edgedancer (life changing spoilers)
  3. I don't see anything (despite that you edited it)
  4. Amnesiac therefore, that or he'd really abused copper ferruchemy. "Zerameth, I am Folorian, happy to meet you. About the alternative, I have the power to to store my memory into copper and the nicrosil part of this medallion contain a copy of this power, by using it you should be able to put a copy of what Aln wanted you to write in the copper part. Normally the memories can only be accessed by the person who stored them but this copper has been modified so anyone can." Talking about Aln, Folorian could not see her anymore... Of course! she had left the room to fetch some paper and at the same time had left the conversation, she should comeback soon.
  5. Spoilers for Mistborn (both era one and two)
  6. Folorian only realized he was seeing both Aln and Zerameth at the same time when the latter disappeared from is sight at the same time as the stormlight from Aln. How had that been? He had only been focusing on Aln... No. He had been focusing on what Aln had been doing, and that had included this man. When Aln started speaking again Folorian tried to focus not on her but on her conversation and, although he missed the beginning of Zerameth's sentence and Aln's appearance was now a bit blurry, he managed to understand enough of it "...n't read. So I don't think I can write either." "Well" Folorian answered, pulling out his copper medallion "I think may have an alternative, mister...?" . @Invocation
  7. While Aln was holding still Folorian stored a memory of her to compare when he'd be finished "I hope you don't mind if I attend to something while you do that?" "Not at all" Folorian answer, not realizing she had not waited for his answer. He started drawing her in a sited position, writing on her note book. When he was finished he compared the drawing to the memory he had stored earlier, the limbs were a little too thin and the number of pocket was off but he was proud of how accurate the face was for the time he had seen it, it couldn't have been much more than thirty minuted, right? "I have finished if you want to see..." He trailed of as he saw Aln glowing. Was that stormlight? She appeared to be pouring it into something. No, not some something, someone, the same man she was looking at earlier. In awe he walked toward them, daring not to speak lest he'd interrupt them.
  8. Completely oblivious to Zerameth's movements, Folorian answered "Well, I don't feel faster but my perception of time is affected to so I'm not sure I would feel faster but..." he looked at here notebook for a while "Maybe I could try to sketch you from memory so we can know if my memory is more effecive than usual?"
  9. "Well, I don't know if we can talk about 'common occurrence' for something I had for only a few hours and that I don't realize while it's happening unless paying close attention." Folorian stooped speaking for a few seconds, then he spoke again like he had never stopped "Also, talking about 'not realizing', I've just realized I could see your notebook while focusing on you. Oh! And I cannot remember anything between the moment I heard about this Guild and the moment I found it so I guess that was my curse too, though at that time I was not focusing on anything I was seeing."
  10. "Well, er... When you asked about me weakness, I realized I was seeing all the world in black except you" Folorian answered "Then I saw you giving quick glances to your side so I tried to look there and I somehow managed to see the man you were looking at. Since I didn't saw you getting close to me I guess I wasn't seeing you anymore, nor hearing, but I did not realize it at the time. When You touched my shoulder I had a moment were I could see the all world, which I guess was a safety mechanism, but this moment has passed and I can only see you once again, I can't even see the chair you appear to be seating on."
  11. Investiture would have no direct effect on him, a firestorm would probably be made someone using investiture on the air or the fire and not him so he would still be burned but if someone was making so everything in a room spontaneously catches fire it would not work on him. Cadmium/Blendaloy bubble, primer cube allomantic AOE, the stormlight puddles Kaladin ad Dalinar use fix people to the ground and some of the Aons (eg Aon Ene) would be direct untargeted effects. I think most other untargeted effect would be indirect.
  12. Aluminium is an internal metal so only on himself. I think that'd be like if my character became made aluminium except shardblades can still cut it.
  13. I'm currently considering considering creating a second character that would be an aluminium savant (which would make him able to cleanse unwanted investiture effects) so I would like to know how much point would that ability coast and if he would be able to use non-cosmere powers while burning aluminium.
  14. There may be more than 10 heightenings. In mistborn it was obvious from the start there was at least 11 metal and seemed likely their was 12, from the second book it was obvious there would be 16 metal. also there was not 16 metals but at least 75
  15. If the dawnshard are big fabrals, maybe Urithiru is a dawnshard?
  16. At the moment Aln touched Folorian’s shoulder, Folorian reflexively moved away from her. Then Folorian had a moment of awareness were he could see the whole room and not just one thing at a time; but this moment faded as soon as he sat his eyes on Aln. “I’m truly sorry” He then said “I started too look at this man over there and then…” Folorian was about to turn toward Zerameth but decided against it, instead just pointing at the general direction he had been and hoping he was not too much off. “And then I lost sight of you, I-I guess I also lost hearing of you so, er… What were you saying?”
  17. "Well every pair is unique" Folorian answered "It is not much more odd than the person who got a set of pricey cloths. And to answer you yes, it was recent, I've only been here for a pew hours" I guess Noticing Aln often looked to here side, Folorian tried to focus his attention on where she was looking at and soon started seeing Zerameth. But he could neither see Aln nor hear her anymore.
