Why would Adonalsium have a gemheart? Are you using "being a Dawnshard" in the sense "Rysn is a Dawnshard" or in the sense "Change is a Dawnshard"?
-
Please avoid double posts, there an edit button Can you remind me where it was said? Anyway moving in a Highstorm is not the thing as launching lightning in it, just not dying to the wind would be a serious advantage
-
No double posts please

I had misunderstood you. Yes if as Khriss say most of the power of D&D is still in the CR no one should have taken up the Dor (note that the Dor would probably technically still exists if someone were to unsplinter D&D as it would probably create a fused Shard similar to Harmony that people would still call the Dor)
-
That's not what I'm talking about I had somehow missed that possibility
-
Yes but is his Intent tangentially related to hiding? So, there are five unkown metals in the steel alphabet, the ones associated to the letter J, C, H and X/Sh as well as the one associated to the number 0. These metal can't really be anything else than godmetal and the J symbol is similar enough to the C one to be its alloy, same for H and X/Sh so I think these should be the godmetal of two Shards and a relevant alloy of this metal, like Malatium is too Atium. This mean we have two Shards influencing Scadrial enough to create godmetals, neither can be Trell since Harmony had never saw Trellium before SoS and he should be aware these missing metals. The fifth metal's symbol somehow disappeared and came back during TLR's rule and it's symbol is just a spike, if the lost metal is not atium it's probably that one.
-
Yes, I said that Did you find a Shard with an intent tangentially related to surviving? No reaction to my claim there are three Shard influencing Scadrial?
-
From what Sazed say the three Shards influencing Scadrial other than Odium (which is too shackled to Roshar to create Trellium or any of the unkown metal) should be among the Shard not mentioned in the letter, that means Autonomy, Cultivation, The One In Hidding and The Sixteenth One To be fair, neither does Mercy I fail to see how someone taking up the Dor would change AonDor, from recent WoBs it's likely it already existed before the Splintering, if less affected by topographic changes

Lucksprens are everywhere in the nature if it was the Skybreaker platespren Szeth would have been noted to attracted a ton of them like with Kal and the Windsprens or Elohkar only attracting glorysprens near Dalinar. On the other hand Szeth is one of the rare characters to have seen a gravitationspren Yes, one about Illumination (the Surge, not the Void) Smokeform for hiding and slipping 'tween men. A form of power—like Surges of spren Do we dare to wear this form again? It spies. Crafted of gods, this form we fear. By Unmade touch its curse to bear, Formed from shadow—and death is near. It lie

NullBlade cocked an eyebrow when she asked for forgiveness. What were there to forgive? It was just a meaningless confusion. "If one pulp Soulcaster can create enough food to feed a town then a skilled foil Soulcaster should be able to create enough precious metal to retire on Scadrial or one of the earth, on Invocation earth you wouldn't even have to hide your arm and might find an Epic able to heal you." His face clouded over, he had made nearly the same proposition to Perfect, she had not listened. He stopped burning aluminium for a while and felt the familiar touch of his wife, looking at him from the past, a bit like . Why had she died that day? She was a basically a goddess, she shouldn't ever die, at least not... not like that, not of a meaningless death a the end of a won fight. He burned aluminium again and looked toward Cassandra again "While I have a better handle of it than you it still is a significant monthly expanse, and who knows maybe studying me could help them help other type of savant, like you. So if you have no issue with that I'd rather go with you" @Ashbringer

Is the knights radiant symbol based off a vibration pattern?
mathiau replied to Valigus's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Very curious, especially since the Rasodonar points are sinew (Boundsmiths), blood (Lightweavers) and lucentia (Edgedancers) -
Stormform's lightnings work in the Everstorm as long as Odium wills it
-
This is a full cosmere spoiler zone, you don't need to put "RoW spoliers" in the title This form is for moving in the Everstorm, not any type of storm, Odium can probably chose where there's rain in the Everstorm like he can chose not to strike Moash with lightnings and like Honour is implied to have been able to do with both rain and wind

Is the knights radiant symbol based off a vibration pattern?
mathiau replied to Valigus's topic in Cosmere Discussion
That first pattern does look a lot like a shrinking version of the double eye and the third like the the symbol for the knights radiants, but you know what else look even more like that pattern? The symbol for Roshar, symbol which roughly means "lights of the three gods" and define Roshar as an interference/beating of the influence of Tanavast, Koravari and Rayse, a magical cymatic pattern, if you will I downloaded the program used too make these and looked at the example files like the person who made the video said in a commentary, the third seems to have been modified but after fidling with it I think I managed to find something close to the orignal parameter 1st pattern : 2D ripple Tank with four speakers of the same frequency, shift per step and amplitude (0.1, 1 and 1 respectively) placed at position (-20,0), (20,0), (0,-20) and (0,20) (I'm not sure what shift means) 2nd patter : 2D ripple Tank with two speakers each outputting two different frequency, same amplitude for both (1) and no shift, the first speaker is at position (10,0) and use the frequencies 0.1 and 0.3 while the second is in position (-10,0) and use the frequencies 0.2 and 0.4 I have no idea what are the units of the number I just said nor the wavelength/period ration of the material that's being simulated Please be true -
And? We don't know how Voidbringer used to get their Voids it's perfectly possible some managed to get both Illumination and Progression at the same time Come on, you can't say that after you brought up the perfected self impressions First we know of Surges doing two unrelated things (Adhesion and Progression) and second what about the possibility of future sight replacing the Growth par of Progression? No, just red eyes I was about too answer that Renarin and Lift are also using the wrong light for their powers (which is basically the definition Brandon gave us of red eyes investiture corruption) and don't get red eyes. But then I realised if Surgebinding is of Honour and Cultivation and Voidbinding is of Honour and Odium they a kind of not. Some seem to believe it'd make you a Surgebinder-Voidbinder hybrid
-
I don't see how the fact he causes impressions while healing has anything too do with that The fact both Moash and Kal saw the same thing seems to indicate the opposite And anyway if his illusion only exists in your mind I don't see how it would mean it's not the Void of Illumination, you could have Void of Illumination -> mind illusion+malatium side effect, Void of Progression -> healing+temporal effects and the visions as an hybrid Void
-
No offence but I'm really curious how you could look at the light balls and think Renarin's Illumination was fully replaced by his vision
-
Could be a very strong Aon Tia depending on where they where before
-
Ishar did something (I'm assuming you meant Ashyn)
-
According to that definition there is no need for human to have a god before Odium
-
Not necessarily, they could have been animist or something. Anyway the Stormfather meant "first god" as in "god before Honour" so that doesn't matter
-
It doesn't mean they can't be gods of humanity on Ashyn, but it means Odium could be a god of humanity on Ashyn
-
There is no such agreement It's almost certain Surgebinding is the hybrid magic system between Honour and Cultivation and it's likely Voidbinding is the one between Honour and Odium and the third one is between Cultivation and Odium and the reason it's more esoteric is because there's not the organising power of Honour Why? Aren't these argument contradictory?
-
Yes, I am asking where
-
It was directly stated? I don't remember where
