  1. My siblings aren't that bad, so I won't trade.
  2. No, but it's the only way that makes sense. The only other people who knew about it were in the inner Kholin circle. Sbe wasn't taken over at the time she ordered all the parshmen to be executed, and I don't think that Yelig-nar takes over your mind when you bond with it. It just grants access to all ten surges, and kills you slowly.
  3. I lose the game everyone. This thread will never die as long as TST exists.
  4. Welcome to the shard! Have you read the RoW preview chapters that have come out? you can find links to them all here.
  5. @Chinkoln on Unpopular Brandon Sanderson Opinions.
  6. Thereby setting in motion the events that would end with their existence.
  7. I've never heard of this game before, but I'll play!
  8. Lift and Wayne became best friends. They teamed up and destroyed the Cosmere together.
  9. Psychology. I would rather know what people think and why they think it than learn about society.
  10. But Jasnah was too busy getting ready for the release of Rythym of War, and Kelsier was too busy running his church, so Lift had to talk to Hoid instead.
  11. Taravangian doesn't care where they are, as long as they leave Urithiru.
  12. The narrative tension grew, and the cotton candy began falling more heavily.
  13. Here it is, my (probably) last theory before RoW comes out. A lot of speculation has gone into what benefits the fifth ideal will give Radiants, as it has been confirmed not to grant the obvious answer, perfect stormlight efficiency: Since the lesser spren theory for Shardplate was pretty much confirmed in the Syl interlude, here is my theory about how that will work exactly. Whenever Kaladin considers the fourth ideal, or is fulfilling his ideals particularly well, he gathers windspren. Shallan gathers creationspren, and Dalinar gathers gloryspren (Although he doesn't get plate). My theory is this: when a Radiant swears the fourth ideal, they reach the bare minimum connection to their spren, which the gives them just enough, or even just below enough, connection to their secondary spren to summon Shardplate. In order to get the correct level of connection, they need to be embodying their ideals particularly strongly. Upon swearing the fifth ideal, the Radiant will gain a connection to their spren that is strong enough to allow them to summon Plate at any time.
  14. Unhappy. this narrative disonance sent cracks in reality echoing throughout the universe, causing a effect not unlike... a rainstorm.
  15. But it still regaled people with tales about how "fast" he had read The Emperors Soul. (That was the only Brandon Sanderson book he had ever read, the others were too long).
  16. I'm on OB, but I think I'm going to have to just read the book instead of listening to an audiobook.
  17. YKYASFWY Finally manage to use lashings in a dream.
  18. Yeah, it is absolutely awful. I'm glad its my first language
  19. Oh, it is? I have no idea what to.... nevermind, I think I know what I'm going to do. You could make a thread of some kind, post an insane cosmere theory, intentionally miss it in a funny way, post a bunch of memes, or just ignore it completely.
  20. Si, yo también hablo inglés. Google Translate is basically just a dictionary that conjugates verbs for you.
