    It's made of windspren, so they simply flew to the people, then formed Shardplate around them. I loved the Dog and the Dragon. It's a new contender for the title of my favorite sequence in a book.

    I don't believe that non-formal oaths are binding. I do agree that Dalinar shouldn't have done what he did, but it wasn't a broken oath, simply something that hurt the Stormfather and was potentially very dangerous.

    Dalinar never really made an oath not to summon the Stormfather as a blade, his oaths were (I'm ot 100% on the wording): "I will unite instead of divide" and "if I must fall, I will rise a better man". Yes, any oaths he makes will be binding, as he is a Bondsmith, but he hasn't made any relating to leading his forces to Odium's defeat or not summoning a Blade.

    I just want to appreciate Brandon's worldbuilding. He introduced the rhythm of executions in the chapter where Venli met Rlain without it feeling overemphasized or out of place, and yet he still prepared us for Lewshi being able to hear that rhythm and instantly know that it means that they know she betrayed them.

    On first contact, assuming the Scadrians don't have medallions that give them all infinite f-steel, the Rosharan Radiants will win. The disadvantage of Radiants is that they cannot leave Roshar easily. A drawn-out war depends on how willing Scadrial is to use hemalurgy to create super-soldiers, the willingness of spren to betray the Rosharans, and how the Rosharans can deal with higher gravity and decreased gravity.

    Kaladin's reputation comes from his actions, and his awesomeness and all that. I doubt that he gains any powers from people's opinions of him, that just seems like it would be out of the blue. Ishar has his Honorblade, which is why he can surgebind. The Defeated One focused on his reputation because he was insane. The Fused get their powers from Odium.

    With infinite Stormlight, Nicrosil doesn't matter. I'm guessing that Shardplate blocks Nicrosil, and even if it doesn't, Radiants currently have experience fighting enemies that can drain stormlight away from them.

    Not a Fullborn, no. They could beat just about anyone who wasn't a shard. A Mistborn against a Radiant with infinite metals/stormlight, would lose for certain without Atium, and almost certainly lose with it. Hard to beat someone who won't stop regenerating. equal amounts of metals/stormlight, Radiant wins without Atium, it's a toss up if the Mistborn has a little Atium, and the Mistborn almost always wins with a lot of it.

    Flex. Alright here's the plan. I'll take pictures of the pages of my copy of RoW, then post them here, one chapter at a time, in spoiler boxes that are marked for the next Skyward book so that the mods don't look in them.

    No, we have not yet seen a Mistborn using all the metals. Plate cannot be (easily) pushed or pulled, but I am not sure if it blocks emotional allomancy.

    Well, after RoW, Radiants now 1. Have experience fighting enemies who can drain their investiture. 2. Some of them have living shardplate, which is shown to regenerate quickly upon taking damage. 3. Have a lot more combat experience. 4. Have better showings of regeneration. (Kaladin repeatedly healing from stabs to the spine for a long time before running low on stormlight) We have not, however, seen: 1. Stonewards in combat. 2. Exact details about the difference between living and dead shardplate. So, has reading RoW changed anyone's mind about the battle between Radiants and Mistborn? Which Twinborn matchups can the Radiants now win? How many Radiants to kill a Fullborn?

    Atium does let you see the future, but that doesn't matter when you the steel compounder can literally kill you before you blink.

    Please no. I do not want Sylladin to be a thing. I think that captain Ico Notum summed it up nicely in OB when he said that a spren bond is far more intimate than marriage.

    I mean, if she merges with Radiant like she did with Veil, that excuse goes away.

    I mean, just look at him. He hums, pauses, then agrees. That's basically the equivalent of me saying: "uhhh . . . sure."
