  1. I don't think that the honorblades will be that dangerous. Obviously Ishar's Honorblade will be extremely dangerous, but the others seem to simply give a less efficient version of the radiant bond, albeit without the need for ideals. Besides that, I don't think it would be so easy to destroy them as you assume: And I think it would be easier to protect intact blades than it would be to protect a pile of dust. Especially if the person holding it can use it to protect themselves. I think a solution like the Shin, that of a group dedicated to protecting the blades, would be the best one aside from curing the heralds of their insanity and giving their blades back.
  2. Nameless appeared next to Szeth, Unintelligible and the bunker fading away. "If you truly are tired of the corruption, then stop it. You are a narrator, are you not? You are limited only by the rules you place upon yourself." He gestured to the broken world around them. "Will you reforge this world? Will you forget that this ever happened? Will you force me to be as I once was? What rules will you be bound by?" He smiled "If you choose to fix this with a snap of your fingers, I will not stand in your way. Others might, but I will step aside."
  3. Meanwhile, Unintelligible was hiding in his apocalypse bunker, eating popcorn and watching the Clone Wars on repeat.
  4. 1. I read the entire Wheel of Time series between July 21st and October 15th. 2. I read Mistborn era 1 over a weekend. 3. I got Oathbringer for christmas, and finished it on christmas.
  5. "See? I told you monkeys tasted good." When you're fighting a dragon
  6. "Why wouldn't I? It's such a wonderful way to narrate." Nameless pooled some black ooze into his hand, holding it out. "Do you want to try it? you'll soon see how amazing it is. How liberating."
  7. And was reborn into a world filled with shadows.
  8. It's obviously number 3.
  9. Nameless laughed, deflecting the feeble attempt at godmodding. "This universe will not die so easily. Not yet at least." The emperor took the orb and, with shaking hands, placed it into the power core of the Ghanderflaffle empire. And Ghanderflaffles everywhere began to change.
  10. Nameless walked through the shattered gates of the Ghanderflaffle empire. Out of all the nations on earth, the Ghanderflaffle empire had held out the longest. Indeed, as he walked through the city, a few guards stepped to block his way. He ignored their threats, walking through their raised weapons as if they weren't there. He entered the last stronghold of the broken Ghanderflaffle empire, casually strolling into the power core of the empire, where emperor Haffle the Forty-seventh was in conference with his military advisors. His top general was speaking. "Sir, we can't hold these... things off much longer. Our forces are depleted, and even the Rhythm of War cannot sustain our soldiers indefinitely." He hesitated briefly before continuing. "Sir, I don't know what we can do. You asked me to come up with a plan, but I have nothing. I don't think that we can do anything to stop these monsters." Nameless stepped out of the shadows, guards belatedly raising blades towards him. "I have an... alternative to dying. I can give you a power source so great that your empire will never fall." He held out his hand, revealing an orb of darkness, barely contained by his narrative essence. "I can give you Ruin itself, shard of destruction."
  11. Well, whatever the answer, it's mostly irrelevant to this discussion. A well prepared tenth-heightening awakener would only beat a fullborn if they caught them by surprise. Assuming that fullborn wasn't TLR. That guy was stupid.
  12. Hm. Well, Larkins might be really really powerful, or it could be because Vasher's soul is more fragile than other cognitive shadows, as Chiri-chiri didn't kill a fused. Or maybe Larkins get stronger as they age. Maybe they hunt spren? That would be really cool honestly. Still, it wouldn't really make sense for A-chromium to be that powerful. It can't drain metalminds unless they're being used right? Maybe it will be able to get rid of breaths in awakened objects, but straight up sucking away thousands of breaths? Seems a little bit too OP to me.
  13. Nightblood can eat your soul, hemalurgy rips chunks off your soul. Do you have a source for the Larkin thing? I'm pretty sure that breaths are a part of your soul, and taking them out would be like eating a spren or something.
  14. I would say that they could summon it still but would (obviously) be unable to use it well. A better solution would be to cut their arms off entirely, or simply kill them.
  15. A-chromium almost certainly doesn't work on breaths. Besides, a fullborn wouldn't need it. They could kill the Godking before he had time to blink.
  16. It probably could be used to make a hemalurgic spike, although it might not function as a normal spike would, given that it would have the Dor in it instead of whatever investiture it would otherwise have.
  17. Time to go torture some heralds for millenia! When you realize that your best friend is a kandra
