  1. It was at this precise moment that the meteorite expanded to reveal that it was actually a space giant.
  2. The giant meteorite that had fallen out of space to crush the ninjas was very good at surprising people.
  3. Fortunately for 655, they were all out of gas.
  4. "I can take the risk." Nameless quickly teleported the tv to his house. "It'll be fine."
  5. "Well, it's not like he ever goes back to his house, right? Too many painful memories and all that."
  6. "Well I know that of course. TLT time is faster than most other time, so there's some warping when you go between them." Nameless shrugged. "I guess I'll just put it at my house. the Witherlord probably doesn't care about it that much.
  7. Honor's investiture was not destroyed. The bulk of it is in the spiritual realm.
  8. Nameless cocked an eyebrow. "What do you mean by that?"
  9. I have actually only ever used the imperial system, aside from science classes. The metric system's just a heck of a lot easier to convert between. Like, try converting 1763585 inches to feet. Now convert 13874258745784512457 millimeters to meters. Which one was easier? Yeah, that's the one poor students like me are happy to be able to use.
  10. Nameless nodded. "The Linear Thread. It has minimal interaction with this TLT under most occasions, but X's avatar is... 'friends' with Melody, a character there."
  11. "This is X's avatar's tv. He used it to watch the other TLT, and he linked it to a mirror that he gave Melody. Now that he's the Witherlord, I figured I should grab it. Just in case Melody tries to call him."
  12. "Perhaps. I'll have to ask." Nameless teleported to the Knight and professor Jones. "Hey professor, do you want to keep this tv? It can see the past, and might still have a link to a chat mirror in an alternate dimension."
  13. Nameless froze the cat in midair. "Bad kitty. I need this tv for... reasons."
  14. Nameless watched with interest. "Huh. Interesting. Well, it looks like the thing still works." He walked over to the tv and picked it up. "I should take this to a safer location, before anything further happens to it." He looked over at Moni and X. "You guys have any suggestions?"
  15. "Right. Scrying device. Makes sense." Nameless focused on the current events of TL(inear)T, imagining the fight that was taking place.
  16. "Hm." Nameless summoned a magical socket to plug the tv into, and started messing with the buttons on the remote.
  17. "The tv? Makes sense. Do you know how to fix it properly?"
  18. Nameless looked at the tv appraisingly. "Is it still connected to Melody's metal thingy, do you think?" He sighed. "Probably not. I guess I'll have to do something else then."
  19. I know how people give their height in imperial, I live in America. And saying "185" really wouldn't be that bad, once you got used to it. It's just different from what we use right now.
  20. Nameless began narrating the tv back into one piece. The shattered remnants lifted into the air, forming back together seams as if they'd never been broken.
  21. Or you could say "185" because everyone understands that you're using centimeters. And anyways, it's easier to say "185 centimeters" than it is to say "6 feet and 1 inch"
  22. If you're trying to convert Imperial-measurement recipes to metric, then yeah, it'd be annoying. But I'm sure metric recipes use round numbers just as much as imperial ones do. And measuring height isn't that bad. For example, I'm like 6'1 in imperial, so I'd be like 1 meter and 85 centimeters. Or 185 centimeters. That's easy enough to remember.
