    Nameless finished the book. "Guys, this changes everything. Literally everything."

    "Hmph. So you already have a fully fleshed-out backstory? No wonder it didn't work." Nameless crossed his arms. "Alright everyone, time to start the adventure. Rep, you can find the trail, right?" Rep gave Nameless a confused look. "What trail?"

    Nameless opened the book and read the first page. His face paled.

    Nameless dropped all the books besides one. "Wait, Dragonsteel draft two?!"

    Nameless dropped another book. "Storms, is it just me or are there more of these than when I started? Quick, someone check to make sure Brandon didn't write accidentally write a new book in his sleep."

    "I don't know. Are you good at keeping a low profile? The quest is to deliver a party invitation to Sequence, a narrator who was imprisoned by the Witherlord."

    "There there buddy. It'll be alright. Once you finish the quest, I'll make you turning-into-dust proof."

    Yeah. I get what you mean though, this needs to be Obi-Wan's story, not anyone else's. We don't want another Mandalorian season 2.5 Book of Boba Fett situation. I liked Luke's cameo in Mando season 2, but BoBF was about Mando and Grogu at least as much as it was about Boba.

    Mentor watched the shadowy figure go in annoyance. "Young folks have no sense of manners these days. Interrupting my story like that, really! Back in my day, he would've thought twice before opening the door like that! Yes he would. Anyways, let us continue with the story." The music reversed itself as Mentor settled back into his seat. "So, Adelas burst into the in-" The door slammed open again, a gust of wind blowing rain into the room and soaking everyone inside. A cloaked figure walked up to the bar and spoke in a gravely voice. "I'm looking for someone called 'Halder'. Do you know him?"

It might not be directly useful to your quest, but I can guarantee that 95% of the time, it'll be something of personal significance to you. Something like a long-lost family heirloom, a treasured reminder of your lost love, or just a treasured possession that was taken from you." Nameless gestured towards Thom. "See? Knives. Those are related to his backstory."

    Nameless blinked. "Why of course. Someone such as yourself will always be welcome on my quests."

    "Look, if there's anything I've learned in my time as a Narrator, it's that character growth is really important." "What, so you don't have your own gear? These items aren't to help you on your quest so much as they are to facilitate personal growth. Although they might just come in handy somewhere along the way anyways." "Ah, excellent. You see everyone? That's a useful item. When 655 turns back into dust, you'll have something to put him in!" Nameless proffered the bag to Rep, who pulled out a rock. He stared at it in confusion. "What's this supposed to be?" Nameless ignored this, holding out the bag to the rest of the group. "Who's next?"

    Nameless ignored him, holding out the bag. “Alright everyone! Line up and get your quest items!”

    The old man nodded appreciatively to Lunamor. "Impressive vocabulary. Anyways, where was I? Ah yes, the rider." He paused as the music made a dramatic flourish. "The rider was none other than the legendary Adelas the Highborn, ruler of the noble city of the same name. He had come on word from his spymaster, who had contacted him with a cryptic message: Lagons spotted. Make necessary preparations immediately. Desiring to know what these 'Lagons' were and what 'preparations' needed to be made, the intrepid Adelas hurried to the inn in which the spymaster worked, riding day and night to reach his goal. At last, in the dead of night, rain pouring down in sheets, the heroic noble arrived at his destination." Just as Mentor finished this last sentence, the door to The Happy Inquisitor slammed open, revealing a hooded figure silhouetted by a flash of lighting in the darkened sky.

    The old man walked back in. "Actually, I feel a little guilty, so I'll tell you a different story instead." He pulled out a seventy-two stringed harp, and futilely attempted to play it for a few moments. "Blast it. I don't suppose you have anything around here that's slightly deadly, do you?" He shook his head, setting up a record player instead. "Alright, gimme a second. Almost gooot iiiiiit... There! Perfect. Alrighty, let's get started." He rubbed his hands together in anticipation as the record started playing a morose tune. "The night was as black as pitch, and the hour was late, when the rider entered the town."
