    The magical objects surrounding the man began glowing, and several dozen beams of multicolored light locked onto his head.

Don’t worry, there’s no danger.” The receptionist donned an aluminum-lined suit, then stepped into a side room and bolted the door, causing a protective array of runes to flare to life on it, running across the walls to cover the entirety of the room. an intercom crackled, and the receptionist’s voice came through it. “Please remain seated throughout the procedure. Any attempt to move may result in erroneous testing data or harm to your person.”

    The receptionist led him to a room marked “testing”, with a door that appeared to be made of many different layers of metal. He gestured to a chair situated in the center of the room, surrounded by an assortment of magical-looking paraphernalia. “Sit there please. And don’t move around too much.”

    The receptionist turned and began walking down the hallway at a brisk pace, expecting the young man to follow him.

    Clinic: Hallway The receptionist nodded to Calano, the looked down at his tablet. “Looks like we’ve got an open testing center in the right wing.” He looked up from his tablet, gesturing towards the young man. “Please follow me so we can figure out exactly what’s wrong with your memory.”

    Clinic: Hallway the receptionist handed Calano an unsealed tinmind. “Think we might have a new patient. Says he doesn’t have Brandonfandonitis, but he’s worth watching, at least.” He gestured to the young man. “I was just about to get him examined.” @xinoehp512

    “Have you experienced an addiction to or obsession with this author’s works? Any negative symptoms due to over reading?”

    The receptionist sighed, pulling a copy of The Way of Kings out of his pocket. “Ever heard of the guy who wrote this?”

    The receptionist tapped his tablet impatiently. “Do you have Brandonfandonitis or some other related mental disease?”

    I throw a delicate flower at you and steal the sandwich after you vanish.

    A receptionist holding a tablet appeared at the edge of the man’s vision, disgruntled look on his face. “Excuse me sir, but wouldn’t the front entrance have been a better place to, you know, enter?” He sighed, examining the young man for any injuries. “Patient or visitor?”

    I grab the sandwich through spoken means, then throw it into the endless void for safekeeping.

    Yeah, I think we’re using Oracle cloud last I heard.

    Bookwyrm’s Mind I see. The tendril strengthened slightly, sending out small tendrils to disrupt the darkness around Bookwyrm. I can’t do much, I’m afraid. Perhaps I could do more back at the clinic, but all I can do here is give you a bit of strength. A pulse ran through the tendril, filling Bookwyrm with light and warmth.

    Bookwyrm's Mind A dim ray of light pierced through the darkness, reaching Bookwyrm to weakly wrap around his arm. Bookwyrm? Lark's voice sounded concerned, and a sense of strain echoed through the weak connection. How did this darkness get into you? I've never seen anything quite like it.

    Clinic: Library Nameless shook his head, turning to Random. "I can catch you up. There's this evil god called Kaos that's trying to break out of its prison, and it corrupted Emma. Since me and Rue were utterly useless during all that, we're searching out the Second Archive to try and learn weaves of the One Power that will let us do something against Kaos." He glanced at Rue. "Anything you want to add?" @Aes Sedai @Random Bystander

And I've never done anything to you either." He sighed. "And Thaidakar, I didn't let her bond me, she just managed to do so before I could stop her." @Aes Sedai @Thaidakar the Ghostblood

    Island on a Distant World Lark nodded. "If you say so." He picked a flower up off the ground and sniffed it curiously. "Interesting." Clinic: Library Nameless turned to stare at Rue, shocked. "Oh come on. That is so unfair. He won't be a danger? Really?"
