    36 hours of walking later, Rym came across the ruins of a destroyed town.

    Subversion shrugs, mentioning the fact that unless Rym went on the quest, the wielder of the split-off sword of Plot would continue to wreak havoc on the innocent. The portal vanished behind Rym, leaving him alone on a vast and empty desert. @The Bookwyrm

    Subversion frowns, pointing out that the sword of Plot had split in two, so it was clearly true that someone else was in fact in possession of that blade. That was part of the quest that Subversion was offering to Rym.

    "Well, I'll take your word for it." Subversion didn't look particularly convinced. "Not sure what exactly we're supposed to do about it."

    Subversion shook her head. "Nope. He's still out there. Just as evil as ever."

    "Hm. If he does that, why not just kill him? He only has like fifty lives, right? He's not exactly the Witherlord you know?"

    A terribly scarred man frowned at Eliira as he walked to the counter, holding a few bottles and jars, chef's hat and apron clashing horribly with his dark cloak and gloves. Klave stepped up to the soup, nodding in satisfaction as he gave it a sniff. "I brought some of my spices and herbs, for anyone feeling particularly brave."

    Subversion sniffed. "You think I'm that predictable? No, this isn't a death trap. It's a dangerous quest, but you go on those all the time. This one is perfectly within your abilities to complete." "I'm observing the scenery. Watch out for that inchworm, by the way. They're highly poisonous." Subversion coughed. "Excuse me, but I don't think we need to defeat Kilometers. He had no reason to destroy TLT anymore. He's free now."

    Nameless froze for a moment, then tossed his phone to Thaidakar. "Hey, could you speak to Calano for me? I think Malum's messing with my head."

    Ruined City of ??? Nameless winced, holding a hand to his head. "Slightly happier? You almost had me believing they were all dead. No, it's because this one's so easy to check! I can call the clinic at any time to confirm, and I'm sure you knew that. In fact, let me do that now." Nameless pulled out his phone, calling Calano. "Hey, Calano? This is Nameless. Has TAAron gotten back to the clinic with Wynn and someone named Lerac? @CalanoCorvus

They're all safe, and from the sound of it TAAron and Haly have gotten over the memory problems. Thank you for giving me the good news. Wynn and Lerac fell in love, you say? Couldn't have guessed. She's immortal, isn't she? I suppose losing Lerac will be painful, if they don't figure out some way to stop it." He laughed. "Knowing them, they probably will."
