    Ruined City of ??? “Uh, wrong way.” Nameless pointed down a different street. “It’s that way. You’re heading towards a group several hundred strong.” @Thaidakar the Ghostblood

    Subversion shrugged. “You can if you want, but I’d let Rym try him first. Overwhelming power doesn’t mix well with an evil monster plot. Thaidakar or Nameless, for example, wouldn’t do well at all in my plot.” Rym saw a small group of soldiers fleeing down a street, pursued by an indistinct humanoid figure wielding a blade stained with ash.

    A terrified scream echoed from the other side of the town, cutting off abruptly. “I Influenced him, prevented his mind from realizing exactly what was happening.”

    Ruined city of ??? “There’s an area at the center of the city avoided by the creatures. There aren’t any there, at least. I figure that’s where the Archive is.” Nameless launched fire at a group of creatures. @Aes Sedai @Thaidakar the Ghostblood @Random Bystander Island on a Distant World Lark stepped into the light, humming to himself as he pulled the quill from his arm. “Hello! I presume you people have expertise in healing Kaos infections? I’d be delighted if you’d give me some tips.” @The Bookwyrm

    Subversion nodded. “Yes. I was able to manipulate him somewhat, although it wasn’t permanent. He’d almost broken through when you killed him.”

    Island on a Distant World Lark shook his head. Modern weapons indeed. Moving silently, he circled around to the side of the aircraft, taking out a quill pen and stabbing it into his arm.

    The man stared after him, shivering at the thought of that face-shifting monstrosity, and desperately hoped he never saw the thing again. After another day or so of travel, Rym came across another destroyed town, seemingly as empty as the first. Subversion smiled mysteriously. “Illusions are my specialty. And Valiant never was the best at Narration.” @Being of Cacophony

    The man shook his head. “I didn’t see. I fled when it took the Sandmaster, and was buried before it left.”

    Island on a Distant World Lark nodded, following after Bookwyrm into the jungle. “You immediately assume it’s unfriendly, or at least act as if it is. You’re not reckless.” He scribbled something on his clipboard.

    Island on a Distant World Lark frowned. “Didn’t think I’d see modern technology here. Doesn’t seem like the place one would find it.” He summoned a pair of binoculars to his hand, examining the distant object more closely.

    "See? I can be fun. This is fun plot."

    "In that case, feel free to stick around here for as long as you want. I don't mind. Watching me won't let you stop us from gaining access to the Archive."

    "Fight it? You can't fight it. Look what it did here. It beat a sand master. Took everyone in my town."

    "You haven't seen it? It's probably gone then. For now at least." The man shivered. "We should leave before it comes back."

    "Funny. That's about how long it'll take me to get what I seek."

    "No, I was talking about someone else. I merely capitalized the first word because of grammar rules. Quite the interesting monster, if you ask me. How do you think Rym will do against it?"

    Ruined City of ??? Nameless followed after Rue, stepping around the crystalized corpse of the shadow creature. "Your lies don't change anything. TAAron is in a mental health clinic. Lerac has access to some of the best healers I've ever known." Nameless turned to glare at Malum. "Once I'm done here, I'll be sure to test out my new knowledge on you first. So be prepared Malum, I will be coming for you." @Aes Sedai @The Aspiring Archivist

    The man nodded. "Your face isn't changing. And that thing didn't speak, so..." His eyes drifted to the wreckage of a town. "They're all gone, aren't they? Taken by that thing."

    Ruined City of ??? "Great! Well, not great that Lerac's coughing, but great that they're at the clinic." Nameless breathed out a sigh of relief. "They're as safe as they can be, in better hands than mine. Now, we should keep going."

    The figure turned out to be a terrified young man covered in cuts and bruises. For some reason, he stared at Rym's face, right hand clutching a small knife at his waist. "Are you that monster? You've come back for me, have you?"

    "Someone else is rather scary, at the moment." Subversion grinned. "I'm quite happy with the way it's turning out. Quite a good character, if you ask me."

    Subversion smiled. "Ah, I can answer that. Somewhat, at least. Just as plot itself can take many forms, so too can the sword of Plot. Whether either is truly the original, or whether there are only two, is not a question that I can answer. I suppose this No One probably could."

    Ruined City of ??? "Ask him if TAAron, Wynn, and a guy named Lerac are at the clinic, and if they're alright."

    "Hello? Is someone there? I'm stuck under this rubble." The voice sounded scared. "Can you hear me?"

    Subversion appears beside him, having completely forgotten who No One was.
