  1. The man with shadowed eyes frowns. His soul-sucking ghouls seem to have decided to run off instead of attacking. "Ah well." He shakes his head ruefully. "I did save the best for last." "44%? You thought it was more likely that my nightmare would show up than that he wouldn't? And you still brought me here?" Suddenly, the organ music begins to crescendo. Lightning splits the sky as the fog thins, then vanishes, revealing the man with shadowed eyes. He stands alone, holding a scythe carved from bone in his hands. "I have come for the one you call 'shovel man'. Normally I'd give the rest of you the chance to flee, but unfortunately for you I am working with the One of Worlds at the moment, so I have to kill you all instead. Worry not, for you will serve me well after your deaths." The man with shadowed eyes smiles, takes a fighting stance, and waits for their response. @Edema Rue @TheRavenHasLanded@The Honorable One@The Aspiring Archivist @Channelknight Fadran@Justice_Magician@ΨιτιsτηεΒέsτ
  2. “More likely you were just somewhere else in TLT.”
  3. The man with shadowed eyes gives the organist another que, then orders the second wave of his forces, a legion of intangible, soul-sucking ghouls, to join the battle. @Aeoryi — Shovel man swings his shovel gracefully, demolishing skeletons left and right. “I thought you said nightmares couldn’t reach us here!” @Ancient Elantrian
  4. He’d have to find the Witherlord and convince him to give up his power for that. “A person I’ve never met. She’s a professor that helped Nameless and Moni with the survey situation.”
  5. "The professor would know, if she's still around."
  6. "I have no idea. I just know that you look like I think a Luxsprite would look, but I also have never seen a Luxsprite before. I'm no expert on the matter."
  7. "You've never met a Luxsprite. And we still don't know that you are one."
  8. The man from Shovel man's nightmares gives the organ player his que, then signals the first wave of his army to attack. Bursting from the fog to attack everyone come hundreds of skeletons holding swords.
  9. "...Maybe. I don't know what he's been up to lately, so that might be pretty easy."
  10. "Yeah. Probably just random lightning though, right? And... someone who likes the organ?"
  11. "Wrong. There is one Luxsprite. In all of existence, there is only one Luxsprite that survived the Witherlord's total extermination of their species. Beyond that, in the entire history of this Thread, there has only ever been one other Ordered-Light being, also a leftover from the old days."
  12. "Do you know how many Luxsprites are around today?"
  13. I don't know that there is non-ordered light, and if there is a Luxsprite probably wouldn't be able to use it. "Do you even KNOW the consequences of what you've done?"
  14. "Well, if you say so..." Shovel man grips his trademark weapon tightly, glancing nervously around the fog. "Where's everyone else? I thought they were here too." -- Waiting outside the fog, Shovel man's nightmare taps his foot impatiently, waiting for the proper time to order his undead forces to attack.
  15. "Great job guys, I think we scared him off." Unintelligible frowned at the still-unfunctional tracking device. "Well, that about wraps things up, I'm sure Desolation will never ever return again someday." @Aeoryi, if you wanted Desolation beaten offscreen, then can Unintelligible's group have done it? He can't use non-ordered light. That would be as difficult for him as a Narrator using Ordered-Light. Subversion pulled herself back together. "You can't do that, I'm afraid. Darkness is unfindable his Author hasn't handed over the controls to anyone yet, as far as I know. Also, HOW ARE YOU SO CALM? IF YOU'RE REALLY WHAT YOU APPEAR TO BE THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST EARTH-SHATTERING THINGS TO EVER HAPPEN! alsoyou'reprobablygoingtobekilledsoitwasreallyniceknowingyou."
  16. This had the opposite of the intended effect, and Subversion promptly exploded from the conflicting energy within her. Whoops. Double post
  17. Subversion took one look at Platypus and died of shock.
  18. But that was irrelevant. Because Subversion had decided to see a therapist. The therapist in question was none other than…
  19. Subversion nodded. "All right. Good luck Platypus, please don't die." She vanished into smoke and teleported away.
  20. Subversion shrugged. "Sure. It'll be fine. I guess... this is the first time things have changed for me. I mean, I've changed, but the people around me haven't. Not the most important ones at least. Thaidakar going... well, once Nameless was gone, I figured that was only a matter of time. We're the new generation, you know? Well, if there's anything you need help with for your plan, just ask. I do still owe you one."
  21. Subversion took the crate off of her head. "I can see you'll use it just as well as Platypus did."
  22. "Uh, how should I know? I've forgotten." The orb flashed, and revealed a scene: Five figures materialized around the group. “I am the One of Worlds.” They each said in sync. “I’m afraid your quest has failed.” The ground around the group shook, then collapsed into sand. They were falling, falling, falling… The sand exploded away from the group, and they floated. In the center of them stood a smiling woman, red haired with green eyes. “Hello.” She said. “I’m afraid you’re going to have to die now.” She held out a hand and glowing red smoke shot out of it. Her eyes began glowing red as the smoke seized each member in the group. The One of Worlds smiled. The smoke went into each persons mouth, and down their throats. “Goodbye for now.” She said. Then she disappeared. The world re-formed.
