    Nameless groans, wrapping jar man in air and carrying him after him. "Why couldn't you just have normal addictions, like me?"

    The worst had finally happened: They had hit the ceiling of reality. Their empire could reach no higher.

    The general shakes her head, turning back to her maps. "I doubt that. Any enemy can be defeated with the proper planning and resources."

    "Just come on." Nameless started walking towards the medical wing.

    "Very well then. Soldiers, kill him." The Ghanderflaffles attack, skewering the twisted Ghanderflaffle-waffle hybrid with dozens of enchanted weapons.

    The General smiles as the rod is blocked by an energy shield. "Smarter than you look. Surrender?" The troops shapeshift back into Ghanderflaffles and level their weapons at the Doug-waffle.

    "I do not fear death. I fear not being able to help my people." The General looks out over the battlefield, then smiles. "And I'm afraid you've lost." As she spoke, the armies of the Doug-waffle pour into the room, surrounding the two leaders.

    Nameless gritted his teeth, head continuing to throb. "I've got a great place for that. It's called the medical wing, and we're going there right now. You're coming with us."

    "Yeah, that's a problem. You need help."

    "Mordite? I'm honored. Rare that one brings Mordite to kill someone who's basically mortal." The General drops her broken shield and lowers her hands. "But you think too small. I am not the important player here."

    The General manages to avoid the blade, and glances at the encroaching armies. "Oh dear. It would appear that you've won, wouldn't it?"

    The General spins, catching the blade on her shield. "You think I didn't anticipate this? It's the most obvious move you could've pulled!"

    Nameless grabs the whiskey from him and smashes the bottle against the wall, wincing again at the noise. "Come on. Let's go to the medical staff. They'll get you set up on a rehab plan."

    "A cult?" Nameless' eyes darkened suddenly, focusing on jar man. "They wouldn't happen to be a cult of chickens, would they?"

    Nameless picks up the sigil and hands it to him. "There. Better now?"

    "Of course you don't." Nameless winces. "Don't talk so loud please. The medics can't help me, as there's nothing wrong with me." Nameless grabs Jar Man and, grumbling to himself, draws in saidin and presses healing weaves into him, bringing him back to sobriety.

    "I'm not going to join your song. My head feels like it's going to-" Nameless wavers, leaning against the wall for support. "explode. Storming Aes Sedai."

    "The door IS closed! Your flaming magic system keeps trying to draw me into its spell!"

    "Not when I can hear it all the way over in the burning cafeteria you can't. Why do you want to sing anyways?" "Oh, and that's much less annoying than singing." "Odd. Have you gotten checked out by the medical staff?"

    "Nice to meet you. How long have you been in the Clinic? I first came here more than a year ago." Nameless massages his temples, headache fully returning.

    "Cool, cool. Excuse me for one moment." Nameless turns away from Argenti and stalks over to Pic, headache slowly returning. "You're the one in charge of all this singing? Please stop." @Cash67

    The General continued smiling smugly, completely confident in her plan's success. Although the Doug-waffle didn't know it, this was all playing out perfectly.

    "Oh? Sounds interesting." Nameless stops channeling, and the fireball disappears. "What exactly causes it?" "I'm Nameless, an Asha'man of the Black Tower. Who are you?"
