    Nameless frowns, channeling to make a ball of fire appear next to Argenti. "Are you alright?"

    Nameless shakes his head. "No, I'm not cold. Just annoyed."

    Nameless opens another gateway behind Argenti and steps through it completely. "Because it's really annoying and I have a headache."

    Nameless pokes his head through a gateway, clearly annoyed. "Why the Storms are you all singing?"

    The General smiled, pulling out the remote control for the ancient relic and pressing the button to activate it, unleashing unspeakable horrors upon the Doug-waffle's army.

    Fortunately, she noticed just in time. While her forces were clearly outmatched, she prepared her backup superweapon.

    She may not have known that, but she was superstitious and distrustful of Narrators, so she didn't speak about her most important plans anyways.

    For some reason, she’d always found that revealing her plans, even just speaking them out loud while completely alone, gave them a much greater chance of failure.

    Fortunately, the General had a backup.

    As he hits the bottom of the stairs bruised but not seriously harmed, he hears a terrible sound: the *crack* of snapping wood. Fortunately for the General, she had an ace up her sleeve. An ancient Ghanderflaffle relic with the power to destroy any army.

    Nameless shook his head. "No thanks. I'll stick to water. So, where'd you come from?"

    "I would remember if I'd met you such a short time ago."

    The General predicted that this would happen, and the survivor instead spreads word of the Doug-waffle's horrible deeds, rallying thousands to the General's banner.

    "I feel like I've seen you before. How long have you been here?"
  15. NameIess
    He then proceeds to roll down forty-five stories of ancient, rusty-nail covered stairs.

    Nameless frowns. "Do I know you?"
  17. NameIess
    This wasn't difficult, as he was located at the top of a very about-to-collapse building.

    The General, now certain that the Doug-waffle is aware of her machinations, sends a small force to sneak attack his army.

    He is greeted by an army of ants that is marching over him.
  20. NameIess
    The General learned of this through her spy network, and began slipping her own agents in amongst the Doug-waffle's army.

    But confident or not, the General knew she had to act. She would never let her people be destroyed again.

    "WHERE DID YOU AND XIYLNA GO?"
  23. NameIess
    The ex-shovel man is surprised by this. "Well that's good. Mind telling me where you were? And why you don't want to tell me where you were."

    Indeed, of all the opponents the General had led her forces against, she was certain that the Doug-waffle was most dangerous.

    So he went to the General. Everyone was certain that she could stop the Doug-waffles plot. Everyone except for the General, at least.
