That will work. What would happen if you A-compounded Chromium. would you essentially be a human Nightblood (obviously not that powerful but something similar).
-
I would only do this if I had no friends and family. After all if you had any they would wonder why you were staying in the same spot not moving for years and years. Also why are you not responding to them for birthday invitations, family dinners and the like.

We know what some of the extremes of F-compounding can do. Gold makes you nigh invulnerable, Atium makes you nigh immortal, bronze means you will never need to sleep. What do you think the extremes of A-compounding will be. We know of two, steel and iron. steel and iron A-compounding allows you to push and pull on objects with ridicules power, even overcoming the soul interference from metal that is inside someone's body. for me one of the most interesting ones would be pewter. We know that A-pewter increases ones physical abilities by reinforcing ones bones and muscles with investiture. My idea is that if you were able to A-compound then your body would be so ridiculously reinforced that you would become bullet proof. Copper is also an interesting one. From what we understand of it, it is able to hide both your kinetic and innate investiture. This is evidenced when Brandon said that copper would protect you from being detected by life sense. We also know that Hoid is able to hide from being detected from Shards so my theory is that A-compounded copper would allow you to hide your investiture (both kinetic and innate) from detection in both the SR and the CR. What are some of the others that you can think of.

A returned can live as a drab so long as they consume a breath on their feeding day. All they have to do is suppress their divine breath like what Vasher and Denth do. If Denth had any breaths in his cloths or stored somewhere else then all he has to do is draw from that every seven days and to everyone else he will seem like a normal drab. This is probably how he was able to hide his nature from Vivenna. He suppressed his Divine breath making him a drab and kept one normal breath to look like a regular Nalthian, then on the seventh day he consumed a breath from his stores (or bought a new one).

Spoilers for Warbreaker

I doubt this is possible. God metals are the pure condensed investiture of a Shard. I don't see soul casting that is fueled by Honor's Investiture somehow creating Ruin's Investiture.

As @Calderis said above healing doesn't extend your life. there are ways to do this that include but are not limited to Atium compounding (what the LR did), Becoming an Elantrian, gaining 2000 breaths, whatever the Dakhor monks do, becoming a cognitive shadow or rewriting your spirit web (possibly with forgery and Lerasium but that's debatable on both).
-
The Radiant would still age. What the healing is doing is aligning your physical body with your spiritual ideal. Your spiritual ideal includes how old you are. If you are able to trick your spritweb into thinking it is younger then what it is like what the LR did then you can extend your age. There are multiple ways to do this and some are better then others.

I never assumed that F-pewter would store the entirety of A-pweter. I only said that you could store the strength given by A-pewter in a pewter mind. This strength would circumvent the muscle limitation of F-pewter.
-
You can store bronze sense in a tinmind so there should be no difference with pewter. What ever investiture enhancements you get should be able to be stored just like tin. Its the same with allomancy. When you burn a pwetermind filled with F-pewter strength you don't somehow get A-pewter strength instead. this should also hold in the reverse. if you fill a metalmind with A-strength you shouldn't somehow get F-strength instead.
-
You can still store A-Pewter in a pewter mind. This strength comes without the side effect of increased muscles. Then you can compound that.

Throughout the story I have only seen her display empathy for her family and Shallan. There is being reserved and then there is being stone cold. Yes she can feel empathy just like how Kelsier can feel empathy towards Mare, Vin, Marsh and his crew. But they both only shown empathy to a select few. That's how I see it anyway
-
I don't really see a problem with her. To me she is just Kelsier without the charisma. They are both Intelligent They are both deadly They are both severely lacking in empathy (they only show it to a very small number of people) They both have an insanely high opinion of themselves (both were earned) They are both extremely polarising to people in world

Spiritual mumbo jumbo. Can't ever beat it

Unlike Hoid, Nale can and will freely use his power to harm anyone that crosses him (or anyone he sees braking the law).

As people acquire more and more Breath they start to see colors more vividly. It is to the point that If you go 10th heightening that you can't perceive the world as regular people do. So what is it they are seeing. My theory is that they are starting to see beyond the visible light spectrum and seeing into the UV and IR. It's either that or Spiritual mumbo jumbo. Off topic but someone of the 10th heightening or above should never become a tineye. The amount of sensory overload you would experience would be a nightmare.
-
Just think at one point Nale had his Honor Blade, His shard blade, We all assume his Shard Plate (since he has sworn the 5th ideal) and Nightblood. Not to mention his Surgbinding, this man must have been the most OP person outside of the Shards in the Cosmere.
-
Chromium mistings can be used for when you go through customs. Anything that the think looks suspiciously invested it will be instantly leached. They should have this policy at the perpendicularity. Don't want people coming through the Scadrian Cosmere border with items like shardblades and Nightblood.

The Investiture would purge the impurities and toxins out of the body leaving the person sober and with a good perception of what they should be.
-
So I have always wondered what exactly happens to your body when you travel to the CR. After all how do you bring a physical body into the realm of the mind. Luckily for me there is a WOB on this very question. So from this I gather that you body is transformed into Investiture on your way in and transformed back into physical matter on your way out. This got me wondering since you are Investiture while you are in the CR and you technically have no physical body, would a blind person be able to see. After all the reason they can't see is because there is a physical ailment going on with their eyes. Since their eyes are now pure Investiture and they are in the realm of the mind they should be able to see in the CR if they were to change their perception enough.

Soothers working in child or aged care. No better way to deal with difficult children or put aged residents at ease then with a soother. Conversely rioters would be great at stage acting. You can literally make the audience feel what you wish to convey.
-
It might not give perfect pitch from the get go but it would definitely help in being able to hear if notes are off. With practice I would assume you could develop perfect pitch quite quickly. You would need to turn it off if you are performing to a large crowd though.

We have seen in era 2 that allomancy is integrated into every day life on Northern Scadrial. We see this with the postal crevice using coinshots to deliver mail, leaches being used in the police, rioters and soother in politics and I assume pewter arms in labor. I was wondering what other uses of allomancy (not tech based) would be out there that we do not see. I would say that there are definitely coinshots and tineyes in the music industry. Imagine a really skilled coinshot or lurcher pushing or pulling on the strings of a violin or guitar. They could literally play with no hands and tineyes are a no brainer (perfect pitch anyone). When electricity becomes wide spread I can just see coinshots or lurches being used to spin turbines (obviously before the use of Harmonium becomes wide spread). what are some other everyday jobs you can see allomancers (or Ferrings for that matter) doing on Scadrial.
