    I've had similar fears, but Brandon once said that he feels authors worry too much about being derivative. I can't find it right now because the Arcanum hates me.

    This might help Bronze age was dead and long forgotten by that time. I have felt similarly worried at time, try experimenting with softer magic, if for no reason other than to get the subtle Brandon influence out.

    Do that, and then modify them to your tastes, but my best and most memorable names just come to me, I was stepping outside once and my favorite name just hit me right then and there.

    Unpopular fantasy opinion: Character development is overrated. Unpopular Brandon opinion Brandon's stories could improve by exploring softer magic. I know Nightwatchwer is sort of like that but Shards where pretty soft to begin with.

    Two types(to my mind) Biological and complete. Biological imortality is like Elves usually have, aging isn't a problem, but bleed to much and you die Complete imortality is closer to divine, as you can not die, ever. Anything else isn't really immortality.
