  1. What scene in Warbreaker? And Yes, I loved that scene, for one it shows how unbelieveably brilliant Cultivation is, and at the same time, made me terrified.
  2. I doubt it, the two we saw in WoK seemed pretty dumb, at first I thought Eshoni had somehow bonded it, but timelines and you know, death just didn't match up.
  3. I saw this thread over a month ago and I was rather surprised to see figgldygrak come up again, though you forgot black shardblades coming up, and red hair at one point, maybe this is a troll, maybe something else, I think it's worth revisiting.
  4. @Meghan I think it's just a spelling error, from what I recall, it only said 'he' once, but when formless comes out she is just Shallan, so I'm thinking it was more an 's' was missing than anything else.
  5. Odium is consuming his emotions, like a greedy man taking what he values most.
  6. Every other shard-metal is fictional, in addition Aluminum doesn't just resist investiture, it negates it, and twists it in weird ways.
  7. I'm far in the Son of Tanavast camp, It's mentioned every book and has a chapter named to it, and the only other Radiant awake had directly been touched by a shard.
  8. Oh boy, this was a massive undertaking and now I have to put my initial thoughts before they fade. Ok On an overall note I think RoW is my new favorite Cosmere novel, I don't think any book will ever surpass OB in first read satisfaction but this will definitely be re-read with more enthusiasm. I'm really proud of how Cosmere aware this novel is, going so far as to name planets and all but say that there are more novels. Hints at the God Beyond are also there to find, though still being vague enough to not confirm. This book really ups the stakes, we have strait up antimatter weapons now, this is going to be fun, although I am concerned about (t)KoW especially with how quick this is going. Characters felt off this book but not enough to bother me. Kaladin definitely hit differently than in WoK, wether this is due to me being in a different place mentally and just not connecting as much or Brandon backing off on the darkness, I didn't feel Kaladin like I did back then. In WoK it felt soulcrushing, but this time it was kind of... sad, like watching someone in a pit going through something hard, something you knew and couldn't help, which might have been the angle he was going for, but I didn't connect with Kal like I wanted. Shallan was actually barrable this book, Brandon has learned to pace it so she doesn't interrupt the important story while still being interesting in her thread. That said, her big reveal was... lacking. It felt like a repeat of Dalinar's arc in OB but weaker, she kept saying everyone would hate her but I end this book hating her less, I am now completely indifferent. Navani also suffered from that in that I didn't care about her arc, she was interesting, anti-waves was an amazing discovery but I don't care about the Sibling bond, I would have preferred Rlain. Speaking of Anti-waves can we cut the light part out? Anti-Voidlight is such a mouthful, Anti-Void just feels better. The new Shard reveals where awesome I thoroughly enjoyed them(even if I wasn't there) this brings our total known Shards to 15, 16 if Wisdom is there, and 14 if Invention and Ingenuity are the same. Although I have to question the name 'Whimsy' not the most Divine of names. I was genuinely happy that Eshoni got to see all of Roshar before departing. I was blown away by Cultivation's planning, it was amazing, however I don't believe it finished, you'll hear from me soon on that. Though, I want to know three things, 1. Why is a Chasmfiend helping the Listeners 2. And this one Genuinely has me scared What is the loophole TaravanOdium found? 3. Someone please explain what happened to Vyre please help, what did he hit? Why is he blind? Why?
  9. When was the last time you read WoK? because they had it orders of magnitude worse than skaa did. There where, people like Felt and others had to work for a living. Edit: 2,666 that's a nice post count.
  10. True He has in the past gone months without an upload.
  11. @Ookla the Watcher @Aspiring Writer you both forget the a at the end he always ends it with an Ah at least while screaming.
  12. @Quantus true, but we know from SoS that Steelrunners can move at a speed faster than bullets, so I don't see a seer dodging enough to survive.
  13. Hemalurgic beaver thread never dies!
  14. Actually it will, it acts more like a personalized mobile bendalloy bubble, as it doesn't break you legs when you run, despite the fact that that force should obliterate them. True on thematics, but F-steel also increases you mental speed, so you could doge things as well, the way a steelrunner would win is by moving fast enough that it becomes physically impossible for the seer to avoid the attack.
  15. I'd say check your library
