Is Mercy tengentially related to fighting? Is hatred related to questions? Ruin is destruction not just entropy. Intent doesn't have anything to do with it, a vessel serves just as well. There have been multiple shards influencing Scadrial in the past, Trell included, but they aren't there at the present time.
