  1. What tells you Odium couldn't see it?
  2. You know that would make an intresting last chapter. Hoid sat back watching the fight, What had happend to his perfect pitch two weeks ago? He used to be able to tell who had made each step but now he couldn't, he hadn't been able to tell since he had met Odium. Oh Sto- *insert Odium escpaing Roshar here* It's fun when that happens Source? Yelig-nar was a lot more intresting and egaging than 'I am Unity" Szeth vs Kal was the only climax I cared for in WoR And what Climax was there other than Kal fighint to save Dalinar? And this supports Child Champion how?
  3. Ah, the... fun of balancing an encounter. That hurt to say.
  4. That is an intresting hypothetical I will give you that. There are several ways for them to find out Hoid could realise why his perfect pitch is off, The Sibling could notice something happening(depending on the loophole) Jasnah being smart etc. If you say so. Try re-reading OB there is so much it's AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. Worked just fine for WoK, WoR and OB And?
  5. Going to Odium after killing relies on him undoing OB. Surrender is him refusing to do something my problem, and suicide is out of the question simply due to the messaging. Yeah because of how the contract was built, Dalinar proposed it and there is something to exploit. A huge battle while the most calculating and manipulative being we know plays three dimnetional chess with the hero's rushing to stop what's happening in the background without violating the contract, while Dalinar fights on the foreground, and both of them needing to succed is anti-climactic? What does Character Development have to do with anything Dalinar already had his in OB. Spoilers, and Should have been all four in my opinion Thank you. And? Odium can see Axi, it would be unreasonable to assume he wouldn't know who died first @Bejardin1250 beat me to it.
  6. Em, no. There is a huge difference to the antagonist being smart and the protagonist refusing to do something. Why does it need to be setting up to fail? And what's stupid about it?
  7. I don't think he will, just that any attmpts he makes to void the contract will either apply during/after the duel itself, or will fail. A majority is a stretch on that, some did others did not, him being a Windrunner would be closer, and a Radiant was definetly the large majority.
  8. To an extent You're in the minority there. It's what we've been building towards since WoK, and personally something I really want to see, the amount of fighting in SA is crimminally low.
  9. The loophole should also be something intresting and exciting, not something that per polling data a majority of the fans are opposed to. a Child Champion would ruin the entire book, suicide bombing would result in one of them dying first, even by just a few instants.
  10. A new metal will form eventually, a vessel has small influences on it's shard. It might take seveeral hundred years, but it would happen
  11. There has probably only been one so that's not out of the question.
  12. Wax pushes things away from him, an iron compounder would pull things towads themselves, think about it, one missuse and a car is sent hurtiling towards you. Also MAG isn't cannon
  13. it's first to die, so even if it worked, which it won't because gavilnor is too young, Dlainar would lose due to age. If Odium wanted to void the contract, he should try to get the Radiants to attack his champion.
  14. By all known understanding
  15. "Anyway I don't think I got your name," Kalin said
  16. Hey Flying! Thanks for sharing. If you don't mind me asking what thoughts do you have about me? I'm not as active on the community side so you probably don't see me as much but I couldn't help but wonder.
  17. Double pewter is not a punchy guy? I'm disappointed.
  18. I kind of get that, but I heavily oppose the idea that characters should die once their arc is over. Characters should be in danger of death at any time, which also means they should never have a point that their death is certain. It ruins the tension in the narrative. But that's my thoughts.
  19. Bro why the Kal hate? I can see wanting less plot armor, trust me I do, the amount Brandon's Characters have is unreal. But why Kal specifically?
  20. That would require Brandon to actually kill a main character before their arc ended, which I would love but it won't happen.
  21. Yes, Chekhov's gun demands it.
  22. Yes but spren seem to need to go somewhere special while it's implied to be something the Stormfather can just, do.
  23. Stormfather can though. Scadrials population is a lot smaller than Roshar's. So.Scadrial's metalborn are a lot rarer.
  24. You will also note he says you cannont become as weak as zero people meaning that what he is refering to is amounts of a trait that would not experience a loss of power. Very easy to do, like thinking easy. And Scadrial does not yet have explosive or armor piercing rounds, nor widly availible access to the CR. And let's be frank Scadrians will not control the CR even on Scadrial without much easier access to it. But a Thunderclast wouldn't even notice Rule of Cool.
