Do you think Shallan will have a child?
Frustration replied to Anna9123's topic in Stormlight Archive
Radiant's have always followed a Bondsmith in the past, I see no reason for that to change. -

His sucessor would be the next Bondsmith. -
That is unconfirmed. I don't know about you but I certainly judge him fairly. He's an evil man plain and simple.

I don't think anyone can beat that. -
"Isn't exactly logical?! Ask the Raveness herself Ivian, she will inform you no potion known to men does that. And if it is some unknown potion why does the Church have dedicated procedures for dealing with such a situation?" Brother Tomad countered. "Why do we know specific potions for making that sludge conglomerate, so it is easier to remove? Why do we have specific prayers for protection against it? Why do we have all of this, if it is mearly a potion?"

Brother Tomad lead everyone to the church and cancelled everything to have the acolytes blessing water, and preparing salts. The People touched where cleaned, and every trace of goo was collected in a pot made from silver-iron alloy. Later the room was cleaned as well with everything likewise collected, and the room cleaned with blessed rose-water. All sludge was placed in the pot which was then sealed and placed in an unmarked grave on blessed ground. It wasn't until several hours later that Brother Tomad could finally speak with the King. "That man's soul was taken by Mal, and his Witherlord, and now that it has been taken care of, I need to inform you that the Archbishop will be arriving within two weeks time."

"Then come quickly, if you can leave anything that touched it behind, and come with me to the Church, we will come by later to clean the rest of this."

Shinovar knows the Listner method of growing crops
Frustration replied to Lesser spren's topic in Stormlight Archive
Their societ has not been the same for over seven thousand years. Even Navani go to the point she could hear pure Tones. (Something I do want an explanation for Brandon) So I don't see why the Shin couldn't have done it. -
If Brother Tomad didn't feel like he SHOULD know of what this was he would have resonded to the insult. When he finally realized, he took several steps back. "Everyone out now! Do not touch that under any circumstance, if you have come with me immeadietly!" @Channelknight Fadran

When a paige found him and asked for him to come to the king Brother Tomad had been uterly shocked. When he saw the state of the room he was less surprised. "What happened here?"

Brother Tomad had dressed in his his best robes, and had taken the staff of his office and gone to the Castle the next morning. A faithful Guard had let him in and given instructions on where to find the King. @Channelknight Fadran

Frustration replied to ShardplateJoe III's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Spren can come over without a bond, even inteligent spren. And they give transformation on top of that so there are a lot of ways that could work.- 22 replies

Dread in Brandon's books, or lack thereof
Frustration replied to Honorless's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Simply put, Brandon can't pull that off, the world won't end, the hero's will save the day, yada yada so on so forth. "World is in danger" stories never feel tense because the author doesn't have the guts to go through with it. Now on the other hand, let's set the scene where our hero's are looking at something, they can't tell what it is., but something, and it is dangerous. That's scary, there's a reason horror movies don't show the monster until the end, or at all, it's scarier that way. People could die, the stakes are real, and you don't know what you're up against something you can't understand is far worse than something you do.- 18 replies

yes, it's in entertainment discussion, or Guilds whichever you want The elves had lived for a while before the Valar found them so I think gen 2 is unlikely but possible.
