  1. I wouldn't be surprised. I'm thinking maybe Fairness, or perhapse Judgement. Appraisal souds good, and I think it complimaents Virtuosity pretty well. You know what Appraisal is my new top pick.
  2. @Friendshipspren that titles a bit of a spoiler don't you think?
  3. I'm thinking something along the lines of tolerance, or maybe temperance.
  4. Don't you just love the coppermind sometimes?
  5. He did not say that, he said that Prudence sounded like a shard name.
  6. I'd doubt it, I think it'd be more like a powerful lightweaving.
  7. Brandon didn't say the Intent was Wisdom, just close thereto.
  8. We might actually do it! $29,871,238!
  9. I have to say three. The power of the magic, as well as the sheer intrest in the world I'm already sold on it. SP 1 still has me intrested but that's more for the Aether's than the story.
  10. So with the recent revelation that Virtuosity is a Shard I think we finally know the Intent of the Wisdom/Prudance shard. Now hear me out, I have some reason for this. First we have to define Virtuosity From google: So the most basic understanding of the shard is artistic skill. However just like how Honor means more than a code of Ethics I think Virtuosity means more as well. Art isn't just the making of something, it's also the knowledge of how to make it. I think Virtuosity is the knowledge of creating, especially art. And with how often the golden ratio came up, which was a common mathamatical prinicple used to create some of the most famous works of art I think that it's not a stretch to say that the knowledge is included in Virtuosity's intent. Additionally the Wisdom shard belives that survival might not be the best thing for it. And Virtuosity splintered herself. Therefore I prepose that the Wisdom/Prudance shard is Virtuosity.
  11. How does that work with the Stormfather able to control the storm then?
  12. I had a thought, could a painter make a nightmare more dangerous if they wanted to?
  13. I'm pretty sure I'm required to say Frustration. However I also feel something like Jelousy or Testing is on the table. The survival shard is probably Invention because Harmony couldn't find them after first contact, and that the Wisdom type shard has decided that survival isn't the most important thing.
  14. Sounds like the Night Aether can still do that as well. Something to ask is how powerful can spirit objects be, and if multiple spirits can be made into one object.
  15. Well, we now only have fifteen confirmed Shards Ruin Preservation Autonomy Ambition Devotion Domonion Honor Cultivation Odium Endowment Valor Invention Whimsy Mercy Virtuosity Meaning we only have one left. And as we only have one week before we get another set of Sample chapters this may be the last time we get to theorise on new shards. So have at it, what do you think the final Shard is?
  16. Why wouldn't you? How many crisis should a world leader have in their career?
  17. Given that they were partially based on Japan which went from an isolated preindustrial society to a military powerhouse in a remarkably short period of time I don't think that will be a huge problem. Introduction to other worlds, particularly ones with ways to use investiture to get food and water will quickly advance their civilization. Especially since they are already capable of spacefaring.
  18. John rushed them man, trying to pull him to the ground. "I'm not losing another one."
  19. The spiritbinding Yumi does. If you can make investiture tech limited only by population and effort then you are poised to be powerful. From the looks of it they could probably make shardblades and probably some version of plate as well. @Oltux72 well neither can Spren, or Sel's magic, but that hasn't stopped them.
  20. Looks like these two worlds are going to be powerhouses. Unless there are more restrictions we don't know about they could rival even Roshar and Scadrial.
  21. Here you go https://www.17thshard.com/forum/forum/108-cosmere-secret-projects/
  22. The weeping is a natural part of the Highstorm cycle and likely predates the shattering.
  23. I'm probably the only one who saw. There is a spoiler board if you want.
  24. John fired thrice in quick sucession, purposfully aiming the second two shots slightly to the side, hoping for a hit. "Just die already."
