  1. I'd just call that timing.
  2. Yeah, but you need to maintain contact with the reverse lashing in order to make one.
  3. The radiant still needs to touch the place in order to put a reverse lashing there.
  4. The spren was corrupted, so it can't have been from Odium originally.
  5. In RoW we saw a very intresting type of fabrial that was used to turn radiant abilities off. There are a few quick lessons about fabrials specifically old fabrials we can learn from this. The first is that the cut and positioning of the gems matters However I think there is more to be understood. So far every instance of a fabrial that requires a spren to be bound in Shadeasmar has been a replica of a Radiant's abilities. So if this treand holds, there should be a radiant order capable of the same feat. The only clue we get towards what kind of spren it could be is it's corrupted nature, and that the device uses garnets. Every corrupted radiant spren so far has been a Mistspren and Sja-anat prefers them to other types However Garnets are the gem associated with Lightweavers so I think we have more solid evidence towards it being one of their abilities.
  6. Not only that but AoL page 218 says that it's dangerous to stop compounding.
  7. I usually try not to bother you guys with these kinds of updates as they feel too much like bragging.

But I'm number 16 in rep so this gets an exception.

    1. Thaidakar the Ghostblood

      Thaidakar the Ghostblood

all time I presume? cool. 16, the last two numbers (formerly) on your rep levels... HURM. does this mean Frustration at that moment was fully invested with the cosmere?

Not yet, I have a ways to go before becoming Adonalsium.

  8. Nightblood is in fact over-saturated with investiture and it leaks out as smoke
  9. You're really good. Mistakes are made yes, but in general I find you tend to be even better than I am at not overstating your sources. The number of times I have spent half an hour digging through the Arcanum for a WoB I KNOW exists but can't find I cannot express.
  10. The tower wasn't corrupted, yet she drew it filled with strange sapes and jutting teeth reguardless. And if you count an Unmade being there as being corrupted there was an Unmade in the Davar household.
  11. Cryptics in the halls of Kharbranth. Distortions around Urithiru Etc..
  12. No harm done. Sorry if I seemed a little condesending there.
  13. Shallan sees things that aren't there all the time. I'm with Nameless here, I don't think the blade was there at all.
  14. I wouldn't imagine leeching having any affect on spren. Esecially the ones summoned. We know a lot more than you seem to assume. I'd say anything either of us says is either confirmed, or so heavily hinted towards it's a fair bet. Now I don't mind you asking for sources, it's good not just for you but for us, but you seem to have a lower opinion of us than I think is fair.
  15. Living Shardplate doesn't require light. And even if it did it would be really hard to drain it.
  16. I don't have any sure knowledge, but I'd assume yes.
  17. Drawing it out at a faster rate than you stored it. You know we'll have the answers to these questions in a few months how about we table discussions on medallions until then?
  18. Why do you lose some power when you ccompress a feruchemical attribute? That depends on how excisors work.
  19. Medallions don't have boosted investiture stores, the bands clearly do. Therefore it is not unreasonable to assume that the two attribute behave differently.
  20. The WoB was about medallions, which you can count the bands I guess, but I would place them as their own thing. Medallions don't have the huge power boost the bands do.
  21. A base power increase sure, but I'm not convinced that that means the bands were running out of A-steel just the ability to push on trace metals.
  22. I don't recall it ever mentioning running out of f-nicrosil.
