I don't guys you say it feels like Kelsier and you have logic to back it up, but all I can say is to me it feels like a red herring.

Edit: a small piece of evidence.

Kelsier generally isn't one to share power.

Kelsier did form crews where everyone had great autonomy

  2. Harmony says this too in his letter to hoid

However, though you think not as a mortal, you are their kin. The power of Odium’s Shard is more dangerous than the mind behind it. Particularly since any Investiture seems to gain a will of its own when not controlled.

Rayse and Odium were seemingly splitting apart a bit for a long time , could it be that the Shard has gained some sentiance. It wouldn't have worked normally since it does absolutely require a vessel but here rayse was able to satisfy it's intent only partially.

So it could be that having a vessel but not being particularly bound to him for millenia it gained sentiance.

Maybe that's why tara is of two minds.

Based on the Chapter 98 epigraph (and rest of the epigraphs taken together), the 'they' appears to be humans.Though it's possible 'they' may be referring to a subset instead (i.e. Radiants).

    - He Who Quiets: Possibly the most likely? Seems like all the Fused would be aware of this one.

    .

I think he meant to repurpose the KR .

Albeit it's possible he took the punishment voluntarily or doesn't think much of it ,  in order to better understand humans. He is a scholar of human art after all. Takes pride in it too I think. So the Fused might have taken it away as they thought him an essai or close to it.

Stripping him of rhythms also seems to be a punishment only a Shard could pul off. Rayse did hate the Radiants as they represent his opponent Shards and they they themselves had given him big trouble.

It was only in the end that rayse tried to gain the Radiants that too mainly to pressure dalinar I suspect.

Taravangian on the other hand , likes the Radiants and might try to trick cultivation into getting them on his side.

Also hemalurgy. Idk , if rayse knew of hemalurgy I'm sure he would have made full use of it. I really doubt El would have been able to hide it from under Odium's vision.

  4. Anti light is kinda based around anti matter right. If so , we know that a kiogram of matter colliding with a kiogram of antimatter Could create an explosion of 43 Megatons.

Hiroshima was 14 kilotons I think. The biggest nuke ever tested was by the Soviets in 1961 , the Tsar bomba tracking in at 50 Megatons.

So if antilight exhibits similar explosive strenght to amount ratios we could bombs that dwarf nukes.

That might be arc 2 however

  5. No Rosharan ppl or indeed anyone lacking Terris genes can't tap metalminds.

Van dell points out that most of the population of elendel has some Terris blood before revealing the possibility of unkeyed metalminds.

I believe the south scadrians too had feruchemists or atleast Terrismen among them from before rasheks ascension or they were placed there by him. They interbred heavily with the other races without the oppression thier northern kin faced under TLR.

Much like how the Terris have interbred with the general populace post catecendre , only over 1300 yrs instead of just 300 yrs like in elendel.

Besides the inability to use metalminds would have killed all the non terris related ppl over the last 3 centuries.

As such unless the Rosharans get some Hemalurgic spikes granting them Terris genes or they breed with the Terris or scadrians they can't access any metalminds , keyed or unkeyed .

  6. Man I can't believe Brandon Actually killed hoid off like that. I was expecting him to live till era 4.

Rip hoid. I really didn't expect a fused girl who u had one date with.  To hold such a grudge against u that Odium recognised her passion and helped her she spend the past 6000 yrs worldhopping and  researching how to kill u.

Wow that must have a bad first date .

  7. Hmmm perhaps but I always thought that was a clue referring to Cultivation. Vorins having abandoned and forgotten her but including her as an aspect of mythology

  8. Man I loved it when adolin announced he was gay and shallan was supportive and told him that Radiant always thought there was a " strange vibe " between him and the Lopen.

Also finally dalinar naming his son as the Highprince of Fashion after seeing that Spren are more likely to bond well dressed ppl

I would say the same of nicrosil though so chromium becomes the obvious answer.

Ah yes. It could be Chromium .

Although I thought maybe it was silver cause of the effect it has on shades. Probably not tho.

    Chromium makes more sense

    0) metal that conducts Stormlight, Navani theorises that empty gem serves as a low pressure area to siphon Stormlight from high pressure areas (Radiants), might be how gems store Stormlight from the Highstorm

Not exactly maybe. The fused gems have voidlight in them and it's thier sudden removal that cause the pressure differential. And the metal conducts stormlight and leeches it from a Radiant in contact.

In normal practice. The gem stones are simply empty before the Highstorm
