  1. Idk man. I mean they are far more different than dustbringers are from voidbringers
  2. I like heartsmiths. But I still like Soulbridgers more. I mean that is ehst they do. Connections are bridges between souls.
  3. So the name mentioned in the Ars Arcanum is Connector. Now that's a good enough name but could u be more on the nose ?? Where's the poetry ? The dramatics ??? Esp since it's an spiritual attribute. Now let's look at the ferring names of other spiritual metals Aluminum : Trueself Nicrosil : Soulbearer. Chromium : Spinner Hel even metals like brass and electrum have better names. Brass : Firesoul Electrum : Pinnacle So I believe we should change the name of duralumin ferrings . Esp since Connection is probably the most beautiful and of great day to day use. A duralumin compounder would make breeze look like an amateur. Lol. So my alternative and cooler name for them would be Soulbridgers. I mean that is what they do. Connections are bridges between souls. Whatchu think ? Thank u.
  4. Slight violence warning
  5. Learned and giving are pali's attributes. Brute and greedy (for money, for blood ) would be diagonally opposed. Same as how shash is destructive instead of creative today
  6. But maybe they are wrong. Thier isn't much definitive proof . Liss could be any one of the 3 unknown female heralds. I'm putting my spheres on paliah
  7. Oh yeah. That's possible. Although gravitation and transformation is used by both orders pretty similarly. I think Ashbringer is a cooler name. I knew I was typing Mjilnor wrong. Was too lazy to check.
  8. Omg (╥﹏╥)
  9. Who is lys ? Omg, liss the killer/spy jasnah hires. Of course. That would make sense. Lots of it. Hmmm I wonder y jasnah didn't hire her to protect herself from the ghostbloods. So wait 5 of the heralds were at Kholinar palace when szeth assassinated gavilar. damnation. My spheres is on paliah , but wait if she is indeed an herald , does jasnah know now ? Like I guess hoid gave her a drawing of more than just taln and ash ? So does jasnah know her true identity now ? Did kids know about szeth being a truthless with jezriens honorblade ? Probably not I guess. Szeth wouldn't have revealed that unless asked and she's not omniscient. Wow , I had never considered.... wow
  10. Hmmm perhaps but idk. I think the peculiarities are confined to the cognitive realm mostly . That would explain why those voidbringers were so contemptous of her. But then again they had millennia of practice
  11. Lift doesn't really have balence. She has to do a lot of practice yet. Also how will Ashbringers use it ? The same or is there a novel use ?
  12. Hmmm the first point is possible I guess but lacks dramatics. Hmm, idk man. Like if we didn't know better , we could have said thst maybe kaladin is able to stick things together using gravitational bonding or using abrasion to Increase the friction between them till they were essentially one object . But it's adhesion instead. Similarly it could be division here. Idk if it's that op. I think it would be similar to Stormform , maybe a bit more powerful. Not anymore op that setting the ground aflame or turning things to bronze like jasnah can do. I think they summon bolts of lightening like the stormformed do but since they throw it from the sky it literally looks like lighting hence the name. Even if it's way stronger , at best u can take out what ? 5 ppl at most. Not too different than small artillery.
  13. So yeah. Maybe someone else has made these connections before. If so tell me.. Now , most order names are intuitive ( with the exception of elsecallers maybe ) , windrunners run on the wind, lightweavers weave light , edge dancers dance can dance on the edge, dust bringers turn stuff to dust etc. Now what does skybreaker mean ? I found someone asking thst question some months back somewhere and have been wondering and came to this conclusion. Now in OB , stormfather mentions to dalinar that the way he uses surges will be different from the way other orders sharing the surge use it . While windrunners use adhesion physically , bondsmiths use it spiritually as well as physically , similarly Tension is used differently by the smiths and the stonewards. But bondsmiths can't pull off the same trick as stonewards I believe. This got me wondering. Are bondsmiths the only exceptions and I thought perhaps we could split surges into two groups. Surges like gravitation , transformation and progression which can be used in only one way by either co-orders. And surges like adhesion , tension which can be used in differing manners by the Co-orders . Perhaps illumination is one such. I mean , truthwatcher wouldn't really be anything new if they too Could sculpt illusions. Renarin mentions shallan has been teyuy to help him master thier shared surge to no avail and yes , maybe that was due to Ren having a corrupted Spren but idt that's the entire answer. Now if the same principles apply then division too should be used differently by skybreakers and ashbringers. Ashbringers as malata has shown can manipulate combustion. Make things burn. But I doubt skybreakers can do the same thing. We have seen them use gravitation to fly same as windrunners, but not use division , even for small uses. I think it's cause they interpret division as not fire but lightning. Makes more sense for flying radiants to have access to cloudspren??? or simply molecules in clouds , rub them together and viola . Lightning. And doesn't lightning look like the sky is being shattered like a pane of glass ? If only for a moment. Hence the name skybreakers. PS: It will be so cool to see szeth be like Thor but with Nightblood instead of Mjilnor . I also wonder if abrasion is used differently by Edgedancers and ashbringers , since nale doesn't consider them to be too graceful.
  14. Ulim ??? I'm pretty sure szeth hid that thing somewhere in Jah keved. Also wasn't ulim the one who guider venli to buy szeth. Idsee how it could have been him in the gem. My spheres are on an Unmade , or part of an Unmade. Also I doubt size has anything to do with perfect gems
  15. Reminds me of my own topic I posted a while ago. Mistborn in the lost metal
  16. Idk man. Seeing how brutal it was and the entire climate was so depressing. I doubt they even had enough food. Like in the Atlantic slave trade , I think very few ppl starved to death in estates , the were worked to death or suffered great injuries but starvation was low on the list , only during natural famines did they die of starvation. Food wasn't what they were growing. They grew luxury crops like tobacco , cotton and sugar. I guess the free folk grew enough food to feed all of them and even export to the Caribbean and europe. Tlr wasn't using the population to grow luxury crops , they were growing necessities like food. I'm pretty sure it was TLRs oppressive slave economy that prevented a famine from wiping everyone out . I mean tlr was terrible but I always thought a prominent reason he was so brutal was cause the sunlight had very little energy and the plants much less nutritious. Hence TFE was always in famine like conditions. Not to mention slaves in our history mostly lived in areas with great biodiversity. They were oft able to hunt and gather foodstuffs like edible wild plants and rats and birds. They also had lots of domesticates like cattle, pigs, etc. TFE on the other hand had been through a mass extinction event. The mists pre ascension , the planets movement , the ash the sun's radiation, I'm guessing tlr wiped out a lot pests by intent too , oblivious of the food chains he was destroying, then u have a 1000 yrs of ppl trying to hunt down everything and anything and the Koloss literally did just that. Hel it seems not many domesticates besides horses and dogs survived. Have we seen any birds , reptiles ,cattle , rodents , etc ?? I always thought the plot to overthrow slavery was doomed since it was by most of the population being slaves that there was enough food to go around Although the nobles did get way too much stuff. In subsequent yrs , I guess the wars and mists took too much attention away from the inevitable famine. If they didn't have enough to eat I doubt they had the energy to feel good enough to sing . There was maybe some fear of mistwraiths too.
  17. I'm pretty sure breeze was from a novel house tending a estate in another dominance
  18. Thanks dude and thanks for suggesting I post these too.
  19. Oh hello. Let's see how many other south Asians there are.
  20. Ok so I have made some Hindi memes too but I thought maybe I should post it seperately , since hindi readers are a super minority here. U will find the link to that post ,Here. A few examples
  21. So hey usually I post the English memes on the Sanderson memes post. But idk how many of u guys are of south Asian origin or speak Hindi. So I thought I would form a seperate post for this , while also including a link for this post there. So yeah I created these. Give a like if u like it. * Link to my memes in good old English on the usual meme page ,Here * Oh yeah some have cusswords
  22. Ok some of these have cusswords. Tell me if it's not ok. * Also I created all these and believe they are OC but tell me if I'm inadvertently copying someone. Cussword warning :
  23. OC Secret history spoilers :
  24. Umm none of them are. I mean geez , we just put attributes which we think are great or dramatic or fundamental and apply that to God. Besides ok , imitation is not likely I guess. But depravity or deprivation surely is. I mean most gods in most mythologies are cruel atleast a few times and might even be charecterized as sadistic. I mean odium isn't much of a good charecteristic either. But old Ado had it. Besides it wasn't a god , more a force of nature and nature is cruel. Oh yeah. This too. Thanks dude.
  25. It's been 3 yrs. Where is the 34 the shard ???? Ahhhhhhhh i can find so little NSFW Cosmere even after scouring the internet. It's not fair . Unless u guys have it but it's invite only. In that case pls invite me
