Finished The Well of Ascension. Well. Hot damnation. That was fantastic! I liked it more than Final Empire, and I loved Final Empire. Going to start up Hero of Ages later tonight. After a period of mourning and recuperation, obviously.

Finished part 4 of Well of Ascension. Will polish off the rest of the book when I wake up. Some fantastic twists in there. LOVED it.

Cats for me. I feel bonds with cats are significantly more special and personal. Dogs are still great though!

Lost power two hours into the stream. Gonna have to search for an archived version!

Been burning through Well of Ascension today. Up to page 370. Will probably read for several more hours tonight. It's soooo good!

I'm quite proud of my progress so far. I wanted 2020 to be both a year of change, and a year of getting things done. For years, I've talked about wanting to be a writer. I've had ideas, even dabbled in writing here and there. Last summer, I even sat down to start really focusing in on a book I had an idea for. Then I stopped, leaving it around 8k words in, no real outline. I kept that story alive in my head though. And a couple days ago, I decided, this is the year things get done. So I sat down, and in the last few days, I powered out a full outline. I've never outlined a story I wanted to write like this before. It's time I finally start taking action and be the writer I've wanted to be since I was young. I've also focused on reading a lot more. I'm nearly 350 pages into Well of Ascension after only just starting it the other day. I have a LONG TBR, and this year I want to actually dig into it and get a lot done.

I got Bondsmith hehe. As far as favorite character, it's a reeeeally hard choice. Out of all the book series I've read, Stormlight might actually have my favorite cast. I genuinely love everyone, even the ones I hate. So, I guess I'll go with favorite to read... and that (having only finished Wok and WoR) would be Shallan.

I feel the same as you. There have been some very good DC movies lately, but they haven't fully earned my trust. I still don't know if I like what I see from these trailers, but I'll give it a shot. Hoping for the best!

Season 2 won't be out till early to mid 2021, so you have plenty of time! Loved the show myself. It's not perfect, and in fact has lots of flaws, but it has that special kind of magic that keeps you interested anyways. The cast especially is great.

Been binging Star Wars Rebels, and The Simpsons on Disney+. Also binged through part 2 of Disenchantment. Really enjoyed it. Much better than part 1, but I can't help but think this show is on a marching path to death. 13 months or so for just 10 episodes is going to kill it. It's not a Rick and Morty where those ten episodes are incredibly unique and memorable. It's a slightly (emphasis on slightly, it's not really an incredibly funny comedy) amusing show with an interesting main mystery that barely gets advanced each part. I like the series, but I fully expect it to be canceled with no resolution at this rate.

When you know your dad didn't read the WoK book that you got him for Christmas last year even though he said he did simply because he isn't buzzing about it the way you do.

Very curious, what else Sanderson is there to collect outside of the books? I see a lot of custom made stuff on etsy and the like.

I'm going to be starting my fiancé off on Skyward soon! I have the audio books of both it and starsight, so I'll be letting her listen to those. Then Stormlight if I can swing it!

Up to about page 150 in Well of Ascension. Feels GREAT to be back with these characters.

I finished 8 books last year, which is about 8 times more than the previous year. My favorite was probably Way of Kings, to be fair, but there wasn't anything I disliked at all! -Way of Kings -Words of Radiance -Mistborn: The Final Empire -Wheel of time 1-3 -The Last Wish -Skyward

-World peace, so no wars, no murders, etc. -Vegetarian diets for all. Can't stand eating most veggies, but its so much better for most things if I did lol. -Clean up our planet and set it on a healthy course. Pretty lame descriptions but I'm tired and this is a first draft!

I'm starting up the last two books in the first mistborn trilogy now, and right after I'm going into edge dancer and Oathbringer. Should finish with time to spare to read 4 with everyone here!

Have to say that I overall loved this season. It brought back the passion and enthusiasm I've had for Star Wars all my life, but that dissipated slightly around 2017. Obviously, the show isn't perfect, but hot damnation when its good is it good! Even built both lego sets a couple days ago. Thats how excited I am!

In the time since I last posted, I started and finished Skyward! Thought it was absolutely excellent. I'm about 9 chapters into Starsight now. Also, it's a new year, and as such, I'm trying to actually knock out a LOT of my TBR this year. Started up Mistborn: The Well of Ascension.

Uh... what? Prequel memes are just memes. There's tons of OT and ST memes too. They're just jokes. If anything, the minority is people who get offended for no reason based on a joke.

Mortal Kombat 11 now, picked it up on Black Friday. Enjoying the heck out of it.

The audio book for Skyward. Still not sure how I feel about it to be honest. The book is fantastic, but the narrator doesn't quite hit the men's voices all that well.

I adore the prequels. Objectively speaking they're quite flawed, but I still really love them. If someone were to say they hated them I'd totally get it. The Clone Wars adds a LOT to the narrative of the films, and frankly, might be the best storytelling in the franchise. It's a real shame people ignore the shore due to it being animated, and it's rough start.

I find the Last Jedi quite miserable, but frankly I still love Rian as a filmmaker. TLJ didn't work for me, but I can't wait to see Knives Out later this weekend! He's directed some amazing stuff. Brick is soooo good too! And his Breaking Bad episodes are amongst my favorite hours of television ever.

I LOVE writing in pen. I tend not to do it as often now, but whenever I outline or do corrections it's always in pen. I save the actual writing for my laptop. I don't have any favorite pens or anything, I tend to just buy what I can afford when I need to. I do have a golden Frindle custom made for when I was in fifth grade and read that book though. My mom got that as a Christmas present for me.
