Was Rock executed? In chapter 114, we find out that: 

“Skar and Drehy had relayed the news after returning to the Shattered Plains. It seemed Kaladin wouldn’t be seeing Rock again.”

Maybe I’m being pessimistic, and Brandon wouldn’t kill Rock offscreen like that, but I dunno, sounds pretty definite. What is the consensus here?

Currently playing: Control and Assassin's Creed: Origins. 

My new PC is all set up since last night and holllllly cow what a monster.  I love it.

Star Wars Squadrons is a great game btw, especially at its lower price point ($40).

I have a new gaming PC set to come on Monday and I'm sooooooooooo psyched to play Star Wars Squadrons on it, not to mention Cyberpunk 2077 next month(!! where is the time going!?).  My plan this next gen is PC for multiplatform games, PS5 for sony first party, Switch/Switch Pro for Nintendo first party and multiplatform JRPGS. My new PC is a beast so I expect it to handle things better than PS5 or XSX will.

Nothing makes me feel like a kid again quite like new gaming hardware.  CANT WAIT

@Use the Falchion are you playing P5 Royal or P5 Vanilla? I plat'd the Vanilla, I just dont have the heart (nor do I want to pay) for largely the same game with a little additional content.

That FF16 trailer was HOT.

I've got my PS5 preorder and a new PC preorder locked in.  Lets go, next gen! Can't wait to play the rebuilt Demon's Souls.

Demons Souls is a big one for me even tho I played it on PS3. I also expect Final Fantasy 16 to be announced at the PS5 event tomorrow, though not as a launch title.

Speaking of final fantasy, I got a tribute to FF7 recently

Xenoblade Chronicles DE. Hit chapter 7 last night.

Rereading 2001: A Space Odyssey.  The first 5 chapters (The Moonwatcher stuff) is some of my favorite sci fi/anthropological fiction ever.

Hey all, anyone here have any Cosmere related tattoos?  I've been thinking of getting a fantasy related sleeve on my left arm and I'd love to see what kinda Cosmere stuff people have already had done! Anyone been pondering Sanderson tattoos?

Via google, I've seen some folks with the Steel Alphabet, which is cool. And a bunch of people have the Bridge 4 symbol.  I like it, but I fear it would be mistaken for a generic "tribal" symbol tattoo.  The immortal words are cool, not sure it would work as a sleeve.  Anyway, show em off if you got em, or talk about your Cosmere tattoo dreams here?

Finally started The Wheel Of Time, #1. About 6% in.

We just finished Avatar for the first time, watching as a family. Wow! Great stuff. 
 

Appa and Uncle Iroh supremacy. Would watch a buddy comedy spin off.

He uses colloquial, made up swear words a bit too much.

"Storms! Rust and Ruin!" etc etc.  I don't need him to go like, GRRM low fantasy low, but it *does* come off as a little hokey to me sometimes.

A little annoyed at myself, being rather Goldilocks - I can't find the "perfect" game for me, so I haven't really played more than 5 min of games in over a month and a half, which for me is a lifetime. Part of it is lack of motivation since finishing The Last of Us II - hard to go back to gruel after eating steak, but,I'm sure I'll find something to hook me soon.

It's been so hot here I've been dialing back on baking.  I think my next project is going to be trying a mixed chile pickle and then turning it into a spicy relish. 

I'm also planning on smoking some pork butt this weekend, but using the smoker isn't a skill I've picked up over quarantine, so I'll not be posting the results here, haha.
