Just listen to Hajimari's music. Holy hell is there some good stuff.

So at this point I’m just convinced Falcom Sound Team never misses. Every single trails game I’ve played so far has so many bangers.
Really enjoy the regular battle theme in CS1 so far. Also the music when the Railway Military Police make their debut is great.0 -
Trails of Cold Steel I
Mass Effect I (legendary edition)
Wrapped up Trails from Azure and Resident Evil 8 over the last couple week.

Well I got on this AM to do a bit of grinding but that didn’t work out. I stumbled upon my books and decided to have a read off instead. That was a good many that have been collecting virtual dust for months but I’m all caught up now.
Will press on to the battle at 4PM most likely.
Yeah; I had the best intentions of playing CS1 today but the 96 degree weather and the pool membership had a better argument.
maybe when I get home...

So glad I waited to play Cold Steel arc until I could play Sky/Crossbell arc. I feel like there are just so many non spoilery payoffs and in universe stuff. Like, the Mishy dolls at the market in Chapter 1. Not only do I know who/what Mishy is, I now instantly think of Tio and the Church of Mishy.

Finished CS1 prologue today. Machias is EASILY the most annoying member of the cast so far, yeesh

Credits rolling on Azure.
Very glad I didn’t skip the crossbell arc and I can see why both Zero and Azure are spoken of so highly. Quite the tour de force

This finale chapter in Azure is absurdly long and IM stormING LOVING IT YALL. It’s giving me some Xenogears vibes and if you know me that’s the best thing I can say about a JRPG

I’m still shook by all the Azure end of chapter 4/beginning of chapter 5 stuff.
Sorry for the thought dump here, it’s just a lot to sift through!
I had Crois pegged as a bad guy, but didn’t really think he was pulling ALL the strings like that! Still absorbing Arios killing Guy.
Zeit’s info dumps and divine form are awesome. Wazy’s reveal as a member of the gralsritter was pretty cool - I was pretty oblivious to all the clues, I guess!
The prison escape with Rossi as a playable party member was so funny and baller.
All of the info about Ouroborous and the new enforcers...more info about SeptTerrions...so...much..lore...

Oooooh so you're there. Yeah, the end of chapter 4 is freaking amazing, and the soundtrack that plays there *chef kiss*, Dark Throne and Delusion of a Thousand Years are two of my favorite themes in the entire series.
Prepare for the avalanche that is chapter 5.
Yeah, after I posted that, multiple more megatons dropped left and right!
Played another hour or so after finishing chapter 4. So much craziness.

Wow. WOW. The end of Azure Chapter 4 megaton!!
Arios killed Guy??!? Holllly rust.

I feel like the third one is super important in setting up future arcs tho, as I look back on the various doors that I remember.
Trails 3rd not a very demanding game- no chance you can play it on steam @Briar King?

Trails to Azure chapter 2:
My goodness, the music when Randy
tells his Uncle he won’t be the new War God. Just straight up glorious.
As someone playing this series through for the first time, the music in every single game has just been outstanding.

Really taking my time to stop and smell the roses in Trails to Azure. Still in Chapter 1. It's been fun going around Crossbell and "catching up" with all the NPCs from Trails to Zero.
Here's some screenshots I took tonight:
I really dig this art style. I'm going to miss it when I get to the Cold Steel arc.

PC. It's the polished version of a fan-translation for the existing PC release. Maybe the psp one too though I'm not really sure.
It’s the PC version not PSP. Saying polished is a bit of an understatement IMO, these are full localizations with lots of quality of life features like 4K resolution, fully localized graphics including mini games, turbo options, etc. Really incredible that the team did this for free.
can’t wait.

The non-Geofront version that people have been playing for... a while now. It's one of those 'good enough to understand what's going on but not very polished' ones, and with no bells and whistles. So yeah, no reason to jump for it if you're already planning to wait for Geofront.
Hmm. Not sure how long I’m willing to wait for Geofront. Guess it’s a play by ear situation

Just wait until you play Azure and are exposed to the mortal avatar of Cuteness that is... Penguin KeA.
Planning to jump right to it, or wait for the Geofront patch?
Wait..is there another way to play it in English? I was planning to wait on the geofront patch

Just rolled credits on Zero. Loved it the further I got in. KeA and Zeit remain without a doubt the best

Fell off for a bit, but Trails from Zero really has it's claws in me, finally. I'm in Chapter 4 now, so not too far from the end from what I understand. It's a race between me to finish Zero and Geofront to finish and release Azure!
Zeit and KeA took Zero from a middling JRPG experience with a party that I liked and even cared about to a next level JRPG party that I love.
Edit: had a huge brain fart when posting

Cannot recommend 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim enough. Sadly PS4/5 exclusive

Just hit the June midterms in CS1. Really enjoying the pacing so far. Beginning of Trails arcs always seem like such a good slow burn.
