    Velles finished tying off the last bandage. He tried to stand up. Pain shot through his body, and he immediately fell back down. Slowly, he began to stand once more. Rising an inch at a time, he began to straighten his back. For a very brief moment, Velles stood completely upright, but his strength gave out, and he had to lean on a wall for support. “I’m Emi,” the other girl said. She paused, considering something, then continued. “We have been here only for a moment. You know where are we?” Velles shook his head. “Not a clue,” he said. “It looks familiar. Giant skyscrapers like we have at home. And yet... it’s seems different. And not just the plants. This whole place seems off. And those vine-birds prove it.” Velles cocked his head, thinking for a moment. “I think we need to find water. It just feels... right.”

    “Ahh!” Truthless said, watching AC disappear and Radiant take his place. And then turn into a gecko. Truthless shuddered. Geckos were his worst nightmare. So naturally, he took out his book of magical incantations and began to chant a vanishing spell aimed at Radiant. Little did he know his doom was stalking towards him in the form of a featherless ostrich.

    “Underwhere?” Truthless asked snapping his head in the direction AC had pointed. Nothing was there. Wait a minute... He let out a gasp. No. No, not this. Light, anything but this. But it was too late. Suddenly things began to get weird. The light from the sun was suddenly refracted like it had entered into a kaleidoscope. Down was no longer down, up was no longer Up, left became diagonally sideways and right ceased to exist all together. The cliff became a pebble, but instead of hitting the ground, Truthless and AC entered into a flash of neon lights. Let the warping of space and time commence.

    Tumbling off the cliff side, Truthless began to scrabble at AC’s head, getting a firm hold his hair. With his other hand, he grabbed AC’s hand and began to slap AC’s face repeatedly with it. “Why are you hitting yourself?” Truthless said in a very cliche manner since he had no better ideas at the moment. @The Second Post, thanks, I aim to please

    Truthless looked down at his feet. Drat! He should’ve seen this coming. Oh well. Just because his feet were stuck, didn’t mean the rest of him was. Truthless detached himself at the waist and threw himself forward. He used his swordfish as a pole vault and sprung towards AC, arms outstretched.
