I don't think the air to rock translation is easy. I think it might be easier then say rock to spark because rock has little to no experience burning. Jasnah does recommend coercion and persuasion when trying to convince rock to change and that is my method of going about it(invoking its history as an air like substance to convince it to make the change).

Is Roshar still fulfilling its purpose? You have mentoined several times that Adonalsium built the Rosharan system with a specific purpose in mind. What with all of the numerous things that have happened due to the shards influence is this purpose still being fulfilled?

If you get a bunch of ore that contains some aluminum and get it extremely hot so that it gets molten and then have several extraordinarily powerful Coinshots push on it from all directions simultaneously will the aluminum go to the outside because it will not be effected by the push?

It is a theory but it is one in the scientific sense not the just a theory sense. It my attempt to explain phenomena I am witnessing based on evidence and reason. If I lived on Roshar this would be the stage were we came up with suitable tests. For example we know from the Stormfather that items remember what they were after changing for a time and eventually die cognitively when they forget who they used to be. This is an extremely similar description to the one that Kaza gives for how the stone remembers being air before being transformed via soulcasting. This indicates that no matter how they are changed(soulcasting or natural processes) an object can remember what it was and be more easily changed because of it.

Interesting question. We see that woman of ill repute sometimes have gloves with the fingers showing (gasp) so yes lace gloves would most likely be somewhat scandalous. Three magic systems is common but it is defiantly not a rule. A couple things first Not exactly. They consider her actions dangerous because they assume that humans cannot be trusted with power or lives but they also know that they might not have any other choice because Odium has returned. Secondly, no they can't. Spren cannot break promises. They may have agreed that bonding humans was dangerous but if they are desperate enough they could say that they had no choice. Syl has officially been forgiven at least she seems to think so. What with the Stormfather now having a bond I seriously doubt that any spren is going to argue against her actions. Sylis not currently banished but it does not surprise me that Honorspren can be guilty of arrogance. I doubt that they appreciated being proven so thoroughly wrong and Syl seems like the type who would rub it in(just a little). Given time I expect she will be forgiven just like humans will generally forgive the one who is guilty of being right too often.

Hahahahaha. Upvoted For real though pushing fealings she does not think the should have into other personas is Shallan's go to coping mechanism. I personaly do not see anything wrong with Shallan feeling attraction for another individual while in a relationship with Adolin provided that nothing else happens. Desireing other people is normal and while I agree that the attraction is emotional not just physical an actual relationship takes investment and commitment. I for one do not think Shallan is going to put in either investment or commitment into the kind of relationship she views as wrong. I think she will end up admitting that she has those feelings and then moving past them would probably be the best thing for her to do as a Lightweaver and as a wife.

On Roshar they have a lot of utilitarian purposes and they are not a bad weapon for some situations. I also think that it will be a loooong time before plate becomes obsolete.

Agreed. I see few advantages to a Scadrailinian shardblade for anyone except steelrunners and they can do almost as much with just a katana.

So unless they are fighting in the middle of a highstorm(which I understandably doubt although it does sound kind of cool) Jasnah might be limited in terms of what essences she can use.
