We don't realy know what Lift got exactly but lets not derail the thread.

That is what she thought but it is strongly implied that she reached physical maturity before her novella which is why she blames the Nightwatcher for lying to her during the beginning of that short story.

I would total take a telepathic connection to slugs and snails! How is that power useless?

The steel ministry was often tasked by TLR to spread misinformation. Not that I know of but unlike atium Aluminum has a full group of four metal pattern. It has a internal counterpart and and external one. Atium never had that.

I always interpreted that WoB to indicate that when Odium adds in his investiture things turn red.

welcome

Yes or at least Khriss says so and as she is the Cosmere magical expert I am inclined to believe her. Also I think a seeker could tell if they were a different class of metals somehow. Aluminum is almost certainly not a godmetal. As to it being a different class of metal I am going to say that Occam's razor recommends against that.

When was this made clear? Brandon said It is based on what you feel not a literal definition.

Survivalism is a bit prudish for my taste and they don't seem to offer much in the way of debate theologically. Also they tend to be a bit intolerant.- 1 reply

You adopted punform to write those didn't you!

Yes. All investiture in the Cosmere is "flavored" by which shard it comes from. This is what makes stormlight different from say voidlight. Actually it could depending on your perspective. Their is no real definition on what is or is not corruption. By us I meant if we as humans lived in the Cosmere. As to Ati and Leras see above. This true and I am perhaps being a bit unfair. However it does irk me that the provided response does not realy adequately answer my question.

Did you read my statement? My point was that corrupted investiture is just investiture of one flavor with added to investiture of another. Our souls would technically be corrupted investiture as we have the more then one flavor of investiture in us. So how can silver be anticorrupted investiture? Most things in the Cosmere are corrupted.

What do you mean by corrupted investiture? Inversature combines in various ways. Calling it corrupted depends on your perception. Silver itself is antibacterial because it is bad for all life forms(that is why you don't eat it). However silver does not resist all investiture so that is not the case.

Interestingly that was the idea behind lawyerform. I would like to recommend twiterform(enhances the rate at which you can output inflammatory nonsense) and potatoform(just makes you less mobile and better at watching TV).

What does this do?

That is not how that works. Aluminum wipes your own alomantic reserves a coinshot can still kill you if you are burning and you can still be soothed. You could make a field of leaching with the jewelry using chromium but it would get expensive and someone working at range could still effect you. If you want to be absolutely immune to investature and aluminum suit is realy your only option and even that is not 100%. Ricochets are defiantly a problem. If you don't hit your target and your bullet bounces something else might blow up. If your target is wearing body armor that may be an enormous problem. We also don't know the density of Harmonium so it may make inaccurate or ineffective bullets. You should still get kickback just like with regular allomancy.

Where does a blind person into the Rosharan Caste system
Karger replied to Turin Turambar's topic in Stormlight Archive
Additionally anyone with a shardblade has light eyes. This caused people to associate those who had blades with the physical characteristic. I person with a blade could be a ruler so the custom developed naturally over time. -
It could just be invested silver from Threnody. Moving between realms is difficult on that planet and invested objects seem much more expensive in the market(like the painting).

Good point I never said he was passion.
-
The last one sounds kind of awesome.

A while ago I joking mentioned that the singers would rebel against Odium after discovering Lawyerform. Along with Businessform, Politicianform, and Lawyerform what are the worst possible forms for the singers to discover or invent?
-
Stop it! Odium is not passion. He is not even close! Go to the common Cosmere misconception page!

I prefer the Palona Kandra theory if she has to be more then what she says she is but I still like her as human most.

I lie down corrected.
