I don't think the series will open with a direct Odium confrontation. That seems like a lot to just start with. You are going to need a lower level threat for us to fight first.

My point is that it is not like we could possibly know so why not just ask generally? What powers do infections give you on Ashyn?

If you have read the first two books then you know that at this point it is kind of compulsive for her. She has actually had a few real zingers. If you end your preformance too quickly your audience is disappointed still makes me laugh. Why would you choose either of them? Kaladin is about to murder Syl. Their interaction comes off as realistic. Her scholarship and practicing power scenes are excellent. I also really like her with Adolin(sue me). Pattern will always be the best spren. I really liked her moral dilemma in WoKs and I find her determined cheerfulness interesting. Just my two cents.

The standard theory is that he want to bring someone back from the dead(possibly his master Hoid). There used to be a small chapter about Hoid and Frost where they discuss this.

This one seems doable actually. You could at least take away the divine breath and stop the dependency on more breaths. Szeth has something like this. No but you could do some connection manipulation so that if you ever went to Sel you would become one(I think Hoid did something like this). Agreed. They would need to manufacture an entire PR component.

Protect is an ambiguous term. We have seen both loving and horrible relationships, governments, and military policies being taken to protect something. Dalinar could rightly argue that he is protecting them from moral corruption by association with Odium by stopping that from happening.

It seems a lot like the limitations of soulstamping+some weird stuff(I actually look at it as a form of the same concept). Cultivation herself can do more.

Taravangian being ordered to retrieve Nightblood for Odium and having a smart day's intelligence but failing because Lift has it and no one can find/access the hiding place.

Gripes something nonsensical about how he should be working on stormlight five or lost metal.

We have never seen any Windrunner move that quickly. ICBMs move at trans sonic speeds and without radar the Rosharans don't know exactly where the nuke is coming from. You would just reduce the amount of explosive material in each charge. This would not be difficult. If you fired an earth gun on Roshar without taking the new atmospherics into account it could go badly but the right gun or one manufactured for rosharan conditions would work fine.
