Does A shard Have More Investiture than the Planet of Roshar?
Karger replied to Dwmaster204's question in Cosmere Q&A
Supposedly assuming your quote is correct and they are not just joking. -
Investiture for now. Brandon may change it latter.

He would be unkillable (bad?) as well as able to pull from Honor(he may be dead but his power is still around) as well as "more then man understand a Herald almost" whatever the stormfather means. Perhaps he gains some passive benefits.

How Shallan and Jasnah see Shadesmar could easily be based on magical senses rather then physical ones. Same possibly with bondsmith abilities. Mistborn spoilers Other then that I think your list makes a lot of sense although I must point out that Spren don't care much about their bond mate's physicality. For example Syl claims that her bond before Kaladin was to an old man who was unsuited to fighting(hence his death) so which order any blind individual gets will be based on temperament same as anyone else.

Nightblood would feed on the Dor. However he would probably not consume the whole thing. According to this WoB Nightblood can't consume an entire shard and the Dor is made of two. Also you did nothing wrong and welcome to the shard!

I can't speak to your feelings. As Jasnah says they are your own. However I would like to point out that your entire assessment is based on a feeling that is based on an if statement. Agreed. But the story could just as easily(and in my view more probably) refer to events metaphorically. The monstrous humans desire something that will improve their lives(like the gemstones of many rosharan creatures) to carry "god's light" or investiture. As such they clime "the wall" or the mountains of shinovar(also metaphorically they break their agreement not to do so). They find the singer society and take stormlight back(possible meaning the gemstones they have acquired hunting greatshells) and this brings storms(starts a war) because of ecological devastation(like the scouring of Aimia) and the increased distrusted of too cultures who are not engaging in an open mutually respectful relationship. Eventually maybe but if the war went on long enough and bitterly enough for the singers to seek outside help from "the void" Ash would have been pretty young when it started. Perhaps she grew up with it.

I don't think the link posted.

Maybe use it as an unlock? Give Moash the power of a Herald?

Don't think so. Nothing on the coppermind page anyway.

Is there an interstellar black market for Breaths?
Karger replied to Oltux72's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Navani but yes. Maybe not it might just be more difficult. Additionally Ashyn is from a lower level investiture system as shards are not in residence their. I don't think many residents are really permanent other then spren and any people who reside in the CR will be cosmere aware. We have not seen a statistically significant number of worldhoppers nor do we know with 100% veracity who is and is not one. We don't know if that will work. I suppose he gets surprise visits once in a while. Quite market might be better or grey market. -
Era three will be early space age tec so 1980s+metallic arts that have been mechanized. The atmosphere would not be permanent on a planetary scale but depending on the size of the moon you might be able to put something up that will last a few thousand years. True but a large biosphere is convenient for life support purposes. Yeah but moving stormlight around is annoying. Metals exist on pretty much every celestial body.

Given the human predisposition to border disputes. Even more so between peoples of differing customs and technological proficiency I think a much larger number of nastier confrontations would have occurred that would be much easier to exploit. For example banditry that the humans authorities looked the other way on. At least some would have happened given the great differences in population. A single individual even with a god involved causing a war by herself is just not something I can believe I am sorry.
-
Thanks I managed to fix it. A good point.
-
Sure but I still find an eight year old starring a war by crossing a mountain by herself and without permission a ludicrous cause for a war.
-
Sure and all of what you say make sense. I just find it doubtful that any reasonable singer would actually start a war over the actions of an eight year old and if they did then war was probably inevitable anyway.

The Scadrian system (pictured below) is much less densely populated with planets then many other systems in the cosmere. Still it offers a fair number of moons that seem worth looking into for Terraforming purposes especially given the space age that we expect during era three. Given the availability of weight storing devices space travel will be fairly easy. Additionally Feruchemical Cadmium and Bendalloy will conserve the amount of mass needed for travel by allowing the travelers to compound oxygen and nutrients. When they get to other planets the possibility of Terraforming becomes viable. How would you use the metalic arts to aid them in this. Compounding heat is certainly a good idea for the outer planet's moons. Perhaps compounding oxygen to create viable atmosphere? You you get f-Bendalloy to increase the rate at which bacteria or other algae multiply?

I do not think the girl that looked up was an actual person. Also this would indicate that she is largely responsible for the war personally which makes one wonder why on earth she was chosen as a Herald.

Certain actions he takes during the released RoW prologue indicate he has some kind of life sense. Additionally many people in world remark on his "aura of majesty" which lead some sharders to theorize that he is getting some supernatural help. -

Plenty of worldhopers of acquired breath and a great many Nalthian natives do worldhop. Famously Nalthis is the only shardworld with actual customs at their perpendicularity. Many individuals on Roshar have acquired breath including some members of the ghoostbloods, Nalthian ex patriots like Vasher and Azure, and possibly even King Gavilar himself. -
At the risk of getting pedantic Ash looks like she is in her early to mid 20s. Assuming she was born around or a little after the exodus from Ashyn you get to about 25-27 years which is "closer to 30"
-
Closer to thirty. Ash was born on Roshar.
-
Quick side note. They came from Ashyn. Also Odium moving is kind of a misnomer since he is sort of omnipresent. It is more accurate to say he started focusing his attention on Roshar. We don't really know the specifics of how that conflict started or who was on which side. We don't know where most people go when they die. The ancient Listeners(the fused) can't die normally and were just transported back to braize on death(now they are caught by the everstorm). They did not form the world. Adonalsium did. They just decided to come live on Roshar. As to why they came together. The vessels were romantically involved.
