MB spoilers I suppose you could do what you propose but all it would take was one misstep and you are finished.
-
We know she did. He seems more afraid then unhappy. This is not necessary to the theory. It is one of two options. A or B individually would work as explanations.
-
Same spoilers.
-
We have absolutely know idea what that body is or how the sharing arrangement took place.
-
Not quite. Only the cognitive aspect is dead the body and possibly part of the spirit sticks around for a while. As far as they are concerned some kind of zombie virus is reanimating the body.
-
Not really. I doubt the game could run appreciably faster. In fact the game would most likely crash.
-
Exactly. We know that already because Autonomy closed the perpendicularity. Also they could have regressed from noodles to no noodles(the only too stages of society that matter).

Bonding spren is a natural outgrowth. However all of the side effects of Voidspren bonding do not seem to be. I personally think of the red eyes as an "immune response." The human body contains all sorts of different kinds of bugs. Some of these bugs are vital to our health life white blood cells. Some just sit around as benign parasites and some do more then one(some stomach bugs actually seem to give benefits). Various bugs will set off your immune response. Which ones depends on your own unique physiology. Some of us will not react to actually lethal germs while others set off your immune system despite being harmless. Renarin's spirit does not see Glys as anything dangerous so he does not have red eyes.
-
That would work although it would be difficult.
-
Depends on when. Also Taldain is hard to get to.
-
It depends but either way it would not work. Your computer would not be able to understand either electrical or radio waves at their normal frequency. It would be like talking to someone whose voice was distorted to the point where it was no longer legible.
-
Neither of those are corruption. While the metallic arts are of the planet as a whole and both shards not just one or the other. Renarin is a little less clear cut because we don't know as much. However it is possible that Glys submitted to the transformation voluntarily for some reason. Zahel does not coopt he just fuels MB spoilers. And as to Nightblood...

Perhaps the fact that the magic system used(form changing) is of honor(it usually involves the highstorm) but results and is directed by Odium's proxy(the voidspren).

Several dogs exist that are millionaires.

The Old Magic is of the Nightwatcher. I don't think singer transformations are the same. Odium is co-opting that system though.

Unless you want to make a big deal about it. Also Adolin is from a different generation where things are done differently. Alethi men would not respect a leader unskilled in personal combat. He probably carefully maintained and curated that reputation. Gavilar was actually a good duelist but I am guessing he chose his duels strategically and only did so as often as necessary. Their are different types of duels that happen for different reasons. Elhokar may have been referring more to the fact that he stopped confronting people physically. Gavilar had declared himself king. However he only had political control over around half of the Alethi princedoms. Considering that his death would undo all of his friends' work then him attacking an equally dangerous opponent before his equally skilled friends at least soften him up a bit is impractical. I agree that this particular inconsistency is notable and fairly real however I think it also a reasonable inconsistency that would develop. People saw Gavilar differently and this colored their perception of his actions. I do think he engaged in friendly duels or at least weapons demonstrations(with ardents or personal friends) that he stopped bothering with as much toward the end of his life because he was busy with the sons of honor. What Elhokar might mean was something along the lines of "he refused to take the time to duel." Also Welcome to the shard.

The Ghostbloods Are Harvesting Radiant Spren(moved)
Karger replied to Karger's topic in Stormlight Archive
That can all be done by just co-oping the Skybreaker's work. Follow one around wait for them to look like they are going to kill someone or just do detective work to find where they already killed somone. Probably not. They are likely looking for candidates. They need willing bondmates and under the circumstance the spren lower their standards. They would not. That is why they want Sja-anat. She may change temperament as while as powers. -
The Ghostbloods Are Harvesting Radiant Spren(moved)
Karger replied to Karger's topic in Stormlight Archive
I don't think they know how to move kidnapped spren from the CR to the PR where they could be bonded. Also unbounded physical spren are in a dangerous environment as well as on their own so risk of discovery is considerably less. Finally spren in the CR are not seeking bondmates so they will be considerably less receptive. As to the timing. We don't know how long Nale has been hunting Radiants exactly but according to Mraize's letter it is about 20 years. It would have taken them a while to figure out how to track the Skybreakers and understand what they are up to and then they would have to conceive, test and put together their plan. It seems like a reasonable time frame. -
Why Hoid declined a shard/can a shard get more shards?
Karger replied to Wind's question in Cosmere Q&A
That is conjecture. Reasonable but conjecture. -
The Ghostbloods are harvesting Radiant spren and want Sja-anat so that they can gain access to the voidbinding along with surgebinding. Evidence: The Ghoostbloods are aware of Nale's efforts to kill other Radiants and are familiar with Radaint powers(they spotted Shallan fairly quickly). We have an unaccounted for Cryptic(Tien's) that they seem have been aware of. The Ghoostbloods have a ton of other invested objects(Miraize's table). Basically any organization would love to have Renairain's abilities. If a Radiant dies their spren is in trouble and may have to accept a less then ideal bond(as we see with Hoid). Renarian is a living example of how a Voidbinder can be created and we know that the Ghostbloods are after an unmade(specifically the one responcible). From this I believe that the Ghostbloods are going around and harvesting Spren from dead Radaints then attempting to bond them to their members. I also believe that they hope to gain voidbinding along with surgebinding via Sja-anat.

I personally think that the stormfather manifests Honor's perpendicularity at specific points along the storm's path in order to keep it going as "scheduled." This willing manifestation is what the stormfather is as well as how Honor manages to use him and explains why the heighstorms are so regular. MB spoilers

Why Hoid declined a shard/can a shard get more shards?
Karger replied to Wind's question in Cosmere Q&A
The pain was also because Ruin was fighting her and because she was using the shard in a way somewhat contrary to its intent. We really don't know much about Hoid but I don't think he is interested in power for power's sake.
