    Astral let a smile creep up her lips. "Yes," she cooed," tossing her hair. "I did. It's nice to know I've managed to crush one soul while I've been here. I only wish I'd been able to feed on his succulent sorrow a little longer." Her mouth began watering at the memory of that delicious moment.

    Astral scoffed, one of her newly healed eyes twitching in her insanity. "Let me alone to rot in my misery," she said.

    For the 143rd time, Astral raked her fingernails against her eyes, tearing her own skin and cutting into her silver eyeballs. She let her shimmering black blood drip down her cheeks for a moment, savoring her ability to feel something until healing them again. She seethed with anger and terrible, terrible boredom, wishing her fingers could claw up Pheonix's chest instead of her own face.

    I have not read it yet. It's my motivation to finish The Rithmatist. Sophie set her fingers atop Aqua's surface, marveling at how odd it was to touch a ball of light.

    "Oh. Okay." Sophie inspected her spherical companion and hesitantly reached a hand out to touch her, like petting an animal.

    Sophie hesitantly sat on the ground, a forcefield popping up around the two of them. "But... don't we need to get to Xinoehp... quickly?" As she thought about it, it made less and less sense. "Why aren't we just teleporting to him?"

    Thought's mouth dropped in shock as he just... left. There was quite a lot to dig through here. Had she still had her Shard, such an interaction would have intrigued her greatly. The obvious reason why was that there seemed to be some sort of threat. But why? From who? Had he rushed off so eagerly because he was truly worried? Or was there something deeper there? Some emotion she was deaf to. Something she... knew? "Thought?" AJ asked. "You all right?" She shook herself. "Yes. I am... fine." Thought turned toward AJ and looked at him. "I... know this," she muttered. AJ cocked his head. "You're gonna have to translate that one for me," he said with a smile. She put a hand to her head, trying desperately to focus, trying to pull the memories that had brushed against her consciousness. Like a hesitant kiss. But, like the details of a dream come morning, they faded, retreating from her grasp. "Never mind," she said somberly. "I just... thought I remembered something. That's all."

    Star smiled. "That's wonderful!" Ember picked at her nails. "Am I... good to go forward?" "Yes, Ember." Ember nodded and expanded into Heather's mind hesitantly. Her presence was awkward and very noticeable because of Ember's immense power and lack of experience. Star sighed. "Well, all that's done." She turned to Pheo. "You know Tom's agenda better than I do. What can we do to help?" @Ookla the Blue

    *blushes* Thanks so much. Ember takes a lot of work to draw, but she's defiantly worth it. Thanks again for convincing me to finish this one.
