    I posted this on TLT a while ago, but then I added more shading and inked it up and now it looks even more amazing. XINOPHIE THE SHIP TO END ALL SHIPS! Because it's so freakin' cute.

    Star blushed, eyes crinkling in delight. "Let's see it then!"

    Star smiled brightly. "And I'm assuming you're going to tell us what it is that you're so excited about?"

    "Yay!!!" Sophie said, raising her spear triumphantly. "So... where's Xinoehp?"

    You forgot to mention that Astral joined the crew because Xino is her old friend, but other than that it was pretty decent.

    Astral rolled her eyes, continuing to run. "Say, how far do we have left to go?" Sophie asked.

    Astral bared her teeth. "Then why," she growled, "did he rip me from my Author and keep me as his prisoner for 300 pages!"

    Astral looked on edge. "I didn't break your rules..." she mumbled. She shivered.

    "The Silent one... is helping us?" Astral asked. It was one of the only times she let a sliver of fear show in her eyes.

    "Ah, dodging canonicity," Astral said. "Just like the good old days." Edit: "Oh look, I'm 70 now. How fun."

    It was not, however, impervious to the withergeists that devoured it whole.

    But it exploded into a thousand blue flower petals! "Yay!!" Sophie said cheerfully.

    Aqua is a girl, Ark. Astral ran in silence, glowering. "So..." Sophie said nervously. "What was it like... to be Star?" Astral regarded her flatly. "Not much better than it is now. Disrespected. Underestimated. Hated. Only now I'm feared as well."

    Astral glared and ripped away the skirt of her dress, revealing metal armor that locked into itself. "I want to help my friend," she growled. "I haven't seen him since QoS and I want to help him because he's the only person on this [redacted] thread that showed me a hint of friendship!" Sophie sprinted alongside Aqua, Astral following behind. "Aqua..." Sophie said. "Astral wouldn't do something like this unless she meant it."

    "Well, why don't you let me go with you, so that I can protect Sophie and the Spear? I'm made of the same essence as the withergeists, I'm quite... effective against them. We're only wasting time because you refuse to stop bickering!"

    Astral scoffed. "Deep enough to fill a fantasy novel? No thank you, sir. I'd rather die than eat the cheap stuff." "Technically," Sophie added, "she can survive for a few hundred pages without eating. So the recommended eating patterns for her are to have really, really big meals - like what she had from Jay - but not very often. She just hasn't lived long enough to carry that out and she's not used to it. You're what, 70, if you don't count the period of stasis and your time as Star? You're younger than me..." "Close," Astral said. "68." "Yeah. See? She's just adjusting. QoS was specifically designed to keep her fed. The air itself was full of a sort of mashed up baby food of negativity. She could feed by simply breathing. It's different here, she's just getting used to it."

    Astral folded her arms. "But we don't already have one here in the story. I'd have to Narrate it and keep it running. I simply haven't got time for something like that. Destroying happy endings is hard work. It's also quite fun, of course, with rich rewards. But I don't get that part of the job. Besides, I like my food raw. If its been out for too long, it tends to get stale. Homespun meals are all right - Sophie's fear just how was quite filling, in fact - but I don't have very many connections. It's more powerful when the person who ripped your heart out," she paused here and smiled. "Is someone you once loved." She giggled to herself.

    Astral walked forward slowly. "I want something fresh," she said dangerously. "Something succulent and deliciously human."

    Astral narrowed her eyes. "Too... metallic," she said curtly. She ran her tongue over the bottom of her top lip.

    "She feeds on negative emotions of any kind. Fear, guilt, sorrow, misery, agony, anger, envy, greed, pride, the works." Astral looked at Sophie, an eyebrow raised. "You know your trade," she said. Sophie blushed. "Thanks."

    "That's not very nice..." Sophie said. "She's just grumpy 'cause she's hungry. And... insane. And evil..." Astral couldn't resist a villainous smirk.

    Astral scoffed, deciding that they weren't worth her time. She turned her back to them. "Uh..." Sophie said. "I don't think she likes you very much."

    "I think," Astral said tightly, "that you will get in my way. I don't know if you've noticed, but I don't exactly play nice with others."

    Astral rolled her eyes. "Oh, please..." she said.
