  1. Thats him! One of the forums that inspired me joining this page
  2. I though of Renarin as a Hufflepuff tbh while Shallan would possibly be Slytherin
  3. That is pretty much that theory I tried to outline. They believed the Diagram's purpose was to fail. If it really told the truth/ future then Odium would see and counteract it
  4. Love it!
  5. On that, I read another theory somewhere that suggested that Cultivation (they assumed the same thing) gave Taravangian the possibility to save the world but gave false information to him in order for the real plan to come about. So instead of Taravangian's smart self setting up failures, it was actually Cultivation. That same person argued the reason was because even when he was smart, he would have wrote it down in code which Odium would see but if Taravangian didn't know, then he couldn't write it down and Odium wouldn't know. I wish I remember whose theory this was
  6. Okay that's fair. I might be really bias but I can accept this reasoning
  7. Same, I always thought he was trying the best he could to save the world. He didn't have any ill intentions
  8. Thanks for following me fam, Renarin is great

Same man. It was technically the reason I signed up because I wanted to voice all my crazy theories

  9. Thank you. <3
  10. I wasn’t condoning Adolins behaviour. I’m just saying there might be more to Adolin than we think. And I was using his commitment issues as an example. In no way is it an excuse.
  11. I like this one and second it
  12. I always though of the Sibling as the thing that controlled Uritherial. They had never heard of the sibling until they arrived there.
  13. Yeah. I actually think they are good together. A perfect contrast but as stated numerously they haven’t seen each other’s real face. (Adolin I feel likemight be hiding behind his own mask. He does have commitment issues if we don’t remember.
  14. I feel that. Like a lot of other villains I’m like sure. Even the fused and and Ilia but Moash is one of those people who kicks you down then kicks you harder once you’re down
  15. I should probably clarify what I mean. The same illustrater design every single Sanderson book to be exactly the same.
  16. Moash is beyond saving. He is given almost every chance to not kill someone in vengeance ( which he noted isn’t helping him) but he still kills. It is almost like he enjoys it like some psychopath. He isn’t an interesting character because he doesn’t offer growth or even care that people have tried to help him. Granted he goes in his head “oh I feel guilty for this” but still does it. It is like a toddler knowing that putting a fork into an electrical socket results in death but still does it.
  17. If this happens not only will we get to see how Adolin actually feels for Shallan but also how adaptable he is to finding out the truth. They’re married after all. What turmoil it would for him to find out.
  18. They still match?! Awesome! I thought they didn’t match
  19. Let’s just say I prefer the Australian covers. They’re quite nice and neat and match with sandersons other books.
  20. Let’s say I wouldn’t be shocked if Odium was technically part of the Unmade group. Passion, hatred, chaos, death, bloodlust, greed ect. It sounds like Voldemort splitting his soul to stay immortal.
  21. I forgot about Shallan being able to draw things that she can’t physically see at the moment. Similar to her trying to draw building affected my the Unmade and other events. She was also able to draw the spooky spren in mirrors even though she technically couldn’t see them. So maybe this connects to Renarins future sight thing but manifests I’m visions rather than drawings?
  22. Okay I can accept it if he describes it not as DID but a part of her character (these are two different things in my head). At least he acknowledges it too.
  23. Granted, but you won't get to read it I wish for more cats!
  24. Their relationship seemed normal/ realistic. In fact it didn't look soppy at all. It's those YAs that sometimes write romance wrong, ironically enough. I guess I'm just annoyed with the portrayal of Shallan's disorder since I study and have worked with people who do suffer similarly to her. And that's why I thought the characterisation of Kaladin was quite well done.
  25. It is a bit unrealistic in the psychological sense. The severe trauma Shallan has makes sense that she got it and suffers but the actual behaviour isn't normal for a sufferer of BLPD. When I read it, it sounded like the dramatised version that is played in movies. To an extent it is accurate but also a bit over the top to the real thing.
