  1. If you really want your dispute settled, why not ask the one who wrote it (I think it's Meeker, but it might be Archer, either way, Meeker would know). @Lord Meeker
  2. This brought Keleth up short. He hadn't seen that. Well, he would work on drafting hemalurgy consent forms, as the DA would probably take serious liberties without them. Keleth raised his voice on the matter of the Precursors. "The thought is good, however, they need to be untouchable. If corruption exists, we shall never rise to a higher state. Perhaps men with hemalurgically altered emotions that make them impossible to be bribed, tricked, or corrupted in any way."
  3. I really like this. We should have a championship type thing, where anyone can challenge anyone. The one who is currently the winner is the champion. Once he's defeated, he is no longer the champion. Kind of random, but then again, so is this.
  4. Hello and welcome to the shard! What's your favorite character? Favorite Brandon book? Take this cookie on behalf of the DA! And take this free upvote! Here's some friendly advice about the shard: Stay away from subforums on books you haven't read, as they are rife with spoilers. The Cosmere Discussion area is a good place to post theories about the cosmere, or just talk about the Cosmere. If you just want to hang around in the community, the Longest Thread or The Last Post Wins are good places (We all know which one I prefer). If you're into role playing I recommend the Alleyverse, and the Diagramists is the best guild there . Welcome to the shard and I hope you enjoy your time here!
  5. That is well. Vargo reflects that this might actually be fun.
  6. Seldon forces an unfortunate phsycohistorian to pick it up.
  7. Vargo throws an unfortunate Diagramist in front of it.
  8. I understand. I've just recently re-read all of the cosmere books, and I was surprised at what I had missed the first time.
  9. You're welcome. If I'm not mistaken, Brandon got his inspiration for the cosmere from his books. Great! So you get the reference in my name?
  10. Has anyone here read the foundation by Isaac Asimov?
  11. I am very impressed with your ability to change the subject so efficiently.
  12. Yes. And as soon as they leave my presence, they'd return to their normal age.
  13. "You all are fools," Keleth spat.
  14. A man appeared out of thin air. "Hello"
  15. We was able to age them to extreme weakness, and then kill with more conventional means. Should I put that in there?
  16. "Do you hear what you are all saying?" Keleth yelled, "You just all voted to legalize hemalurgy with no clauses or restraints! The Dark Alley will spike indiscriminately! The streets of the Alleycity will become littered with the despots and monstrosities of hemalurgic creation! I propose a compromise." He pulled another long scroll from the folds of his robes, and began reciting. "The DA may perform spike-outs to willing individuals, that have filled out and submitted the proper spike-out forms. Those willing to submit to hemalurgic expirementation may also fill out forms for this. Their lives or sanity may not be taken. A mental stability spike must accompany each spike of another type." He looked up briefly, "This won't put too many limitations on the scientific developments of hemalurgy, while making it relatively safe." He put the scroll down. "For all those who support this move, say aye!"
  17. Meow. I am a whale.
  18. A pretty good chunk of time went by before I double posted though.
  19. On the bright side, he ages very gracefully.
  20. "Nay!" Yelled Keleth. "We need a compromise between the DA and TUBA before we legalize it without any restraining clauses!"
