  1. I'm not a giant fan of gendered classes coming back either (I want my female barbarians! Charlotte was a beast!). But certain classes have overlapping skills I believe, so Vantage and Swordfaire might show up on a class that's female exclusive. Like, what if (one of(?)) the higher tiers of a Pegasus knight has Swordfaire, Canto, and Vantage? It probably won't but it might...
  2. Season 4 was the best I've watched so far. How they split up the season into smaller, distinct, yet still connected arcs was phenomenal. Season 5 has been tough for me to get into, but I'm trying. I'm trying to stay away from Season 6 spoilers. Take your time! The later seasons are great but I also kinda miss the simpler times of Season 2 and even a little of Season 3...
  3. Caught up with The 100, now I need to catch up on Season 5 (and then Season 6) of Agents of SHIELD, Season 3 of Daredevil, Seasons 1 & 2 of Konsuba. Had a movie outing/date planned, but was rescheduled due to weather complications which later turned out to not be so complicated. Want to start Brooklyn 99 soon because the YouTube clips have me DYING.
  4. I might be in a minority, but I think a 2021 release would actually be best for everyone. It'd allow more time for Brandon to write the novellas for Rock, Rysn, AND The Lopen, as well as potentially find time to write The Lost Metal and at least Skyward 3 between RoW revisions. If that turns out to be the case, we'd get three books in one year and potentially more Stormlight content than not (he'd write Rock's novella beforehand, but there might not be time for Rysn's or The Lopen's) between now and 2021.
  5. Unless he writes those novellas while he travels to signings (after SotD's sequel one), I think he's gonna be hard-pressed to find the time to write all three novellas this year. Although if he does he can release them as a collection...hmm...
  6. I think they mentioned that in the gameplay demo during E3, but regardless WOOT WOOT!
  7. Or maybe he was a part of Ba-Ado-Mishram the whole time. After all, the "Ba" part of the name has to come from somewhere, right?
  8. Szeth, Renarin, Taln, and Jasnah are the most likely to me. In order of likely-to-least likely: Szeth - I could see him dying at the end of Book 5. He has a confrontation with Vasher and/or Azure set up (which makes me think that Nightblood might be passed to Adolin); has expressed death-seeking tendencies on multiple occasions, and given how his arc has gone, might end up being his happy ending; and overall knows far more than the plot can allow! Renarin - We know so little about how his magic works right now, but I could see it happening and it being sad. Jasnah - I'm just not sure she'll live all the way to the end of the series. But who knows. Taln - Given how much he's sacrificed, him dying before getting a happy ending would be super depressing.
  9. 27% so soon...the man is really pushing hard!
  10. I don't mind it and I could actually see it happening, especially if Kaladin has to do some big sacrifice and becomes a cognitive shadow by the end of Book 5. But it's not my primary ship.
  11. 25%. 1/4 of the way through the book!
  12. That's the Set and Hoid I believe. As for Patji and Obrodai, you're correct and my theory there is wrong, but there IS a connection between it all. We just don't have the full picture yet. Hoid at least traveled to Obrodai (and most likely First of the Sun given Mraize's new Aviar and which aspect of Autonomy responded to the letter...although to be fair simply the location of the First of the Sun might have been the payment, and the Ghostbloods took the Aviar on their own). Aesicar What does Hoid think of the Ghostbloods and what do they think of him? Brandon Sanderson The Ghostbloods are intrigued, and he is unimpressed. Stormlightning Are Hoid and the Set aware of each other? Brandon Sanderson Yes, but I wouldn't say the Set as a general rule, but members of the Set. Stormlightning How do they feel about each other? Brandon Sanderson Some various shades of loathing. Stormlightning On both sides? Brandon Sanderson Yes.
  13. Part 3: Parabellum So I reread the Reckoners trilogy but I still can't decide on a soundtrack. HOWEVER, I did reread Mistborn 1-3 recently and found that The Weeknd's Pray For Me fits very, VERY well with the trilogy for me. In a few weeks I'll reread Era 2 and come back for that. Also, in my mind Dalinar's "Words That Bind Us" from above fits the opening for WoR more than just for him, and "The Assassin" fits better as an ending.
  14. Avengers: Endgame A man on the run from the law joins a crew of thieves to pull One Last Job in order to reunite with his family. The mission goes wrong so they have to go deeper.
  15. No confirmation, but my theory - at least for the Oathbringer letters - is that he had a slight team-up/deal with the Ghostbloods. They get him off Roshar and onto First of the Sun (which I personally believe is Obrodai) and he gets them an Aviar.
  16. Oof. That's rough buddy. I didn't (my best friend offered to warn me but I wanted to go in blind), so I was shocked by it too. Speaking of which...I should probably open a new profile to S-support him...eventually...
  17. Agreed! Beast classes are always fun. Keaton's a great unit (pairing him with Hana, Azura, or Peri really helps his speed), and Panne from Awakening is one of my favorite characters in that game (Yarne turns into a better unit, but I dislike his character). In terms of the rumor:
  18. My current theory is that the Set is a kind of initiation group for the Ghostbloods. Well, if the Ghostbloods are antagonists anyways. If they're more benevolent then maybe Silence's grandmother will become one? I think it's been mentioned how it's a ceremonial thing or an honor to become a cognitive shadow on Threnody, so I could see that being the beginnings of the Ghostbloods.
  19. You know you're a Sanderfan when one of your best friends loses the Mistborn book you bought him a couple of years ago before he ever read it. And you proceed to buy him the entire Original Trilogy as a birthday gift. And Skyward as a bonus. Because you're extra and buying Sanderson books feels good.
  20. Ah Thanibomb, the Herald of the fandom we didn't know we needed. I read a few of those when it came out, but I haven't read all of them yet, so I'm gonna keep that tab closed lol! The ones I did read are the ones that have been confirmed (with the exception of one that has yet to be confirmed and really hope it's false! Said Spoiler. Either way July can't come here fast enough!
