In regards to what you should second/first, i would recommend reading all of brandons books before setting foot in the theories boards (you should be fine sticking to whatever you've read, like mistborn theories or something, but stay away from the general theories boards). However, if you dont mind have having a book spoiled, analyzed, dissected, decomposed, rebuilt, reorganized, buried for three years, reanalyzed, and left as completed long before you've read it, you can throw my previous statement out the window and dive right in.

Wander for a bit after talking with Ambro, I enter into the large chamber to watch the first match take place, only apparently missing the opening few moments. Well, looks like i get to see a little of what the 'RIver' person can do..... Glancing at his opponent, i notice his near drunk swagger as he tosses a flask over his shoulder and the slurr of his speech, i reconsider a moment. Well....then again, perhaps not....

The humble bundle is a group of indie developers who put their games up for "sale" for a donation on a "pay whatever you want" pricing scheme, with a portion of it going to charity. How much to charity you ask? Well, mr. QuestionsPants, it's completely up to you. You decide the split, regardless if you want all of it to go to charity, the developers, or any particular split you want! Now, you may be saying to yourself "Gee Eero, this TV show announcer thing you're doing is annoying, but i do likes me the cut of your jib, so how can i go about procuring this humble bundle?" to which i would respond "You aren't very perceptive, are you? Because the very first sentence in this whole thing was a link to it." Oh, also, you can activate it on steam.

Also, i think the sword is called the soul edge (but i could be misremembering) but every character has their own "soul edge", but nightmare is the only one who has THE soul edge (the big eye-balley sword) because thats how its supposed to be story-wise. well, i've never read the books, so i can't comment on them. But for the harry potter series, i've always found the movies at least to be filled with plot holes and shameless use of deus ex machina to save the day. That being said, though, i still kinda enjoy them. However, I have to agree on the point on voldemort at least. In the final movie, he just kinda showed up places and never really did anything that evil. In fact, at times even seemed like he might not be such a bad guy (pulling back his attack on the people who are fighting against them to avoid bloodshed, and offering to spare their lives if they give up the person attempting to murder him comes immediately to mind). Though his desire to erradicate all non-wizards does kinda put him in the "bad guy" area. And in regards to that, I've never understood WHY he wanted to destroy all non-wizards and half-bloods. It's not like they're going to revolt and defeat them, and they aren't exactly directly in his way to anything. in fact, they're off seperated in their own world sort of thing. It's like desiring the erradication of all kittens, despite the fact that where you live doesn't even have kittens, and the kittens only have their natural abilities to fight you and you have a tank.

Coming around a corner, i stop suddenly as I nearly collide with Ambro. Face brightening slightly at my sudden fortune of finding one of the others quickly, i respond, "Ambro. Exactly one of the people I was looking for." "When is your first match?" frowning at the sudden realization of Ambro's question, i continue, "Oh...uh, yeah I suppose i slept well enough in this strange place." "Anyways, to more important matters, did you find out any information on our new 'friend'?" I finish and look to Ambro expectantly.

Yeah, i know he's safe from Ambro at the moment, but that's not to say something could change at a later point. Like i said, i don't mind working with with someone for some nice plot twist/betrayal/murder if it's fitting, and not just some for stupid "LULZED! I KEELED J00!" reason

well, as for that part, its kinda ambiguous as to when he arrived, since that was in the time when i was kinda like not around for weeks, and it basically got to the point where he was in bed and slept and everyone else got up and left, and i was seemingly the last to leave, so i really didn't wanna take any liberties there since i wasnt really in on the action. Especially since River went through the trouble to conceal his name from him, and there has yet to be anything pointing out/showing/whatever that Adolin isn't his name (mostly because of the time that I wasn't around). I mean, if we want to, i we can just take this stuff as read and retcon it to say "eero knows this stuff", and assume I know this stuff if we want. I'm not trying to be difficult, it's just that at this point, because of my lack of activity mostly, there hasn't been any strong reason for me to say "Eero knows his real name now", know what I mean? I try not to take liberties with my character's knowledge (and, in fact, sometimes find roleplaying ignorance of some facts kinda fun). In fact, if Eero were to miss the first round for some reason, there would be a further opportunity to keep him in the dark about River's true identity

Heh, nope, I did that with Eero purposefully. He checked his number, saw it was low (meaning his turn would be up soon), and set about to get whatever he could done before his first match (though i didn't end up doing much in that time >.>). That was why i said i checked mine (and no others), and waited for a response, because depending on how high/low it was, it changed what I was going to do a little bit (checking his friend's numbers being one of them). Also, he wouldn't have noticed River's, since he still currently thinks River's name is Adolin, and I don't think he's happened upon anything with a way to connect his real name to him, yet. Edit: basically, if I didn't say i did something, it's safe to say i probably didn't do it, either by intention or a slip of the mind on my part, but I'll continue with that continuity regardless of the reason for not doing it Further edit: though, if we want, i can take out the part of him intending to meet up with his companions to speed things along towards the actual matches, if you want.

Yeah, i figured I was in the second match because of my number, but Eero doesn't know what number his companions are, nor where they're currently at, so he was going to try to hit them up before he got called in to fight

sorry it took me so long to get around to posting, guys. I've just been torn in so many directions lately. I'm gonna make a committment to be more active in the posting of these, so hopefully I should be around some more. Also, with my most recent post, I left it open for anyone who wants their character to meet up with me before my match to do so (i refuse to control anyone elses characters. Controlling NPCs is fine, but I won't put words in the mouth of the other players so to speak. I'll set out to do something with/to/for another character, but i'll leave up to them what happens with it ) Also, I'm interested to see what happens with River, Ambro and Eero, because Eero implicitly trusts Ambro and Jay'El because of the circumstances of their meeting (and implicitly mistrusts river for just such a reason), and its pretty clear Ambro is at least indifferent to Eero (if not more because of his hate of paladin types) As a note to both of you with the Ambro-Eero-River relationship thing, I have no problems with Eero being killed because of either his trust or mistrust in either character, as long as we work out something suitable, fitting, and with some good story telling leading up to it or something and not like "Har har har! Ambro/River hates Eero and kills him in sleep!" It honestly sets the stage for a pretty nice betrayal at some point if we want to set something like that up. (and if we do, we can work it out via PM so as not to spoil the surprise for everyone else)

After having checked my number, I meander about the halls for a bit observing the action and daily routine of those i recognize. Upon hearing the announcement to report to the waterfall arena, i head out immediately to attempt to make myself as close to the front as possible to make sure i miss nothing. After having heard the announcement, I attempt to catch up with whichever of my collegues I can to attempt whatever planning is necessary and to find out where they lie in the brackets. It seems I'm one of the first three matches i consider to myself briefly. So i rush out of the arena to see if I can catch up with either Jay'El or Ambro, or even this so called 'Adolin'. I'm not entirely sure if I can trust him, but if i figure out who he plays for at least I know where he stands.... With that, i head off to find anyone of my party I can.

Welcome to the forums! Hopefully you'll learn plenty while you're around here about the cosmere, and have a good time doing it. As far as the wheel of time goes, i personally highly recommend that series, especially since brandon is finishing it. It's very very long, though, so you probably won't be reading one of the books brandon wrote for at least 6 months to a year if you started right now and kept to it pretty hard. That is unless you're some kind of crazy speed reading person who can read a good 800-1100 page book (and 10 more after that) in a matter of days.

yeah, i dont THINK there is a way to view this (at least not that ive been able to find) but it would be a nice feature. i don't know if its possible or not. Its obviously not a huge deal, if you ask me, but it would be nice.
