Groceries stores i go to usually stock it. It's pretty common. Also: The oatmeal concisely represents my opinion on Sriracha edit: and while we're on hot sauces - Cholula is basically the best hot sauce ever IMO.

I know a lot of people who eat ketchup+mayo on fries. It's really common in missouri too, though i personally prefer ketchup and mustard mixed up on fries

Not really. I don't remember really SEEING any violence in it (though it's been a while) and there's a few points where there's "nudity" but you don't see anything (i.e. she's nude but you see head/shoulder shots). IIRC On the violence part, there's a (single) part where someone shoots someone else with a gun but you don't see any blood, and you see someone jump off a building to commit suicide. Other than that you hear news stories about suicides on occasion. That's the only violence i remember. Here's what IMDB has to say about it in regards to parental advisory In fact, one of the things it says: "This anime involves heavy psychological contents and is very disturbing, but not that violent."

Probably one of the best animes ever right here. Pretty trippy at times, too.

Immediately halting my attack, I throw my arms up to block my face damnation, no time to dodge....This is going to hurt..... Acting quickly, i charge my hammer up with a cold strike This should at least take the sting out of it.... Shortly there after, i feel the intense sting of heated metal grow on my arms, and smell the acrid scent of burning flesh. As the last of the flames lick past and singe some of my hair, I immediately leap forward yelling aggressively and swing with all my might, my target now swapped to the young child on the wrong side of the monster, the side closer to me.

yeah, i think i'm just gonna go ahead and stick with skeletor.
-
I totally call skeletor for my figure. Looks exactly like me. EXACTLY.

Actually, every time i've considered joining, that's the sort of character I thought about, though i'm not sure if it would be allowed. (not because of "OMG OVERPOWERED!11!1!!!" reasons but for "outside the normal social structure" reasons)
-
i think part of the problem is that MBI is basically dauntingly huge, and that's probably why it doesn't see an influx of new people. I know i've considered joining a few times pretty much since it started, but i go over and look and am all "man...there's so much stuff everywhere! D: " and then pretty much drop the idea

yeah, it's not banned as in "you will be jailed if you own/read this", it's banned as in "parents think this is inappropriate for children". Also, i always find it funny that people say huck finn is a racist book because mark twain wrote it SPECIFICALLY because he was intending it to speak out against racism.

The Three Musketeers - STEAMPUNK Version!
Eerongal replied to KChan's topic in Entertainment Discussion
i dunno, maybe it's the perspective, but it looks more like a side-sword than a rapier. It looks a bit thicker than the usual rapier to me, but it's hard to judge. Either case, she's still holding it funny, which i'm sure is because the creators thought it looked cool. -
Those first three are currently banned? We read those in middle/high school as part of our required reading. Or were they previously banned but now not? I could probably see that since they're considered controversial-esque.

Acting quickly, i charge offensively at the beast. At the last moment, i turn my charge into a diving roll between the monster's awkward arched teddy bear stance. As i roll through, i smell the telltale stink of singed hairs. Hopping up quickly, I make sure to pat down the top of my head, lest any embers from the smoldering decide to light. Immediately after hopping up, I move into a quick sprint to put distance between me and the thing. I may not be able to damage you, but perhaps I can goad you into doing what I want. Turning to face the creature, I ready myself in a defensive stance. Ok, the thing certainly seems quite offensive. If I keep moving and toying with it, perhaps I can get it to fall off one of these edges. Judging by the beast's size, any missed swings should greatly put it off balance. I'll just keep playing cat an mouse with it until I can position myself in such a way to get it to teeter on the very edge of the platform. I don't know what's down there, but it's certainly better for me if the chasm's contents include this monstrosity. Taking a deep breath, I begin concentrating on the monster's every move.

im currently making some potato and leek soup!
-
Using a similar sort of recipe, but cutting the potatoes in a long-wise fashion (so they're flat, instead of cubes) makes some pretty good home-made style chips. Also, in regards to sweet tea, i personally don't much care for it. I usually mix a little sugar into unsweetened tea (but also i'll drink it without sugar at times), but sweet tea is TOO sweet for my tastes. Then again, i usually drink coffee black, rather than sweetened, so drinking unsweetened tea probably follows along those lines.

I've never MADE it, but i've EATEN it, and it is delicious. (but then again, it's cake, so duh?)

never heard of it, however, i loves me some soy sauce. I'll have to look into that. Also, I figure i'll put my signature recipe for chili out here. I have a buddy of mine who thinks this stuff is the best chili he's ever eaten. So much so that he made me show him how to make it, and he cooks himself up a pot every few weeks. This recipe usually changes a bit every time i make it, since i usually just make it on the fly, but overall it's pretty much the same. first i take a pound of bacon and cook it up nice and crisp. Then, i take some cut up onions and caramelize them in the bacon grease. Once they're good and done, i throw a half pound of beef on top of it and cook it up in the onions and bacon grease. while the beef is cooking, i always season it, it's my opinion that it makes the chili taste better to season the beef heavily and let the beef flavor the sauce rather than putting seasoning in the sauce. For spices, i usually go with garlic salt, onion powder, chili powder (lots of times i'll buy a prepackaged "chili" seasoning mix and throw that in instead of chili powder), pepper, cilantro, and cinnamon. once the beef is nice and cooked up well, i usually throw the vegetables on top of it, this can consist of whatever veggies you want, but what i usually do is bell peppers, carrots, celery, and corn. after that cooks for a little bit, i then throw tomato sauce (or tomato paste+water depending on what's available at the time) and beans (usually black/kidney and chili hot/mild, pending upon my mood at the time) on top of it. Crunch up the bacon in it, throw in a diced jalapeno if you want, and let that boil up nicely for about an hour or so. Throw in some cheese and crackers and serve. Also: I personally am of the belief that it's not chili unless it has beans. I know this is contrary to the opinion of many people who say chili DOESN'T have beans, but it is what it is, and chili aint chili to me without beans.

I all sorts of cook. It's one of my favorite hobbies. Just a couple weeks ago i made cornish hen basted in a jellied red wine sauce with potato and leek soup. Note that many of my recipes aren't exactly healthy, because i generally cook for flavor. case and point, the homemade bacon burgers that i make (which my friends love). I start with the fattiest beef i can find (usually 20-30%) and grind up a pound of bacon and mix that in with the beef. I then season it with Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, lemon pepper, and any other things i feel like putting in at the time, break in an egg and some bread crumbs to make them hold together a bit better, stuff them with cheese (again, whichever i feel like at the time), and then freeze them. Once they're frozen, i take 'em out and grill em up. They're delicious.

nice. Was it the alloy of law one? That one looks pretty awesome.

So......they don't pour into the chasm around the arena? but rather flow past it and out some sort of duct/drain (presumably )? The way you described it earlier made it sound essentially like there was basically a "moat" surrounding the fighting platform, but i assume this isn't true based on this image? If so, no biggie, i'll just remove my post until i get a chance to rewrite it. Also, and i just thought of this, where did the teddy bear thing break through/explode out of? There doesn't appear to be any terribly good hiding places, and i assume it would leave some sort of significant breakage, right?
-
I refute and deny this claim in every way. Anyways, now, where were we? Oh yeah! 'nuff said.
-
So....question about the place i'm fighting in. I know it's called the waterfall arena, but is that because there's just a waterfall going through it, or is there like a pool of water or a river or anything in it? Or is it sort of "up to us" as we do it? Up till now, I haven't had any particular reason to use the terrain, but now that there's a giant fire teddy bear, knowledge of all the water at my disposal around me may be helpful
-
Yeah, so far it's been pretty much identical to where i'm from. So much so, in fact, that when i compare the current weather with friends from back home that its usually with 5-10 degrees of each other, though precipitation is sort of hit-or-miss.
