  1. More surreal memes: Context:
  2. That's why I wrote the question
  3. Still a little mad that no one noticed the hints that Wayne is Lift's father.
  4. I suppose it depends. If we are to assume a Returned Lizardman acted like a coventional Returned (minus the lizard part) and that a Returned's hieght in their "default" form a naturally occurs and is not just a societal convention of what perfection is affecting their pereception of how they should look as Gods then we can assume the Returned at least larger than the avaerage lizard. Also since I don't recall any major height difference between returned we will be generous and assume that the returned hieght is a constant; making the lizardman, head to foot, about seven feet long. Conclusion: Depending on what kind of lizard he thinks he, is a seven foot long Lizard is top physical condition (for a lizard) and super human strength can be as terriffying as a very, very, small godzilla On the hand in order for the "third awakening shrimp" to achieve the the third awakening it would need enough investiture to achieve sentience and, presumably spren bonded to it to help hold the investiture and allow for the facillatation of mechanisms used for higher thought. My Third hieghtening shrimp edit had luck spren bonded to it, so we will assume the shrimp has the ability to fly from the affect of bonding said luckspren. The shrimp will be able to contiue this flight for about 2 hours as that is the amount of time a shrimp can survive out of water. Now here is the tricky part, if I remember correctly a deaf person can use sign langue to use commands if that is there first language, that would mean that if the shrimp was raised in a society of sentient shrimp and they developed some kind "shrimp language" then the Shrimp would most likely be able to awaken. Conclusion: It can fly but it's danger level is entirely dependent on if it can awaken. Verdict: Given the best case scenario for all parties involved, Third Heightening Shrimp wins, provided he has a cloth large enough to strangle a giant lizard. Sorry for the long post. Here's a Returned Lizard Man!
  5. Imagine, you are with your Grandfather, the best person you know, on his death bed, saying his last good bye to you and your family before he passes on. He intakes a breath, and sighs, as his eyes glaze over. Suddenly, waves of color start gathering around the bed, and the body starts to glow. You gasp as you realize your grandfather is Returning! Coming back to fulfill some mission given to him by the iridescent tones, As the light subsides, you realize your grandfather is no longer in his bed, a large, brillantly colored lizard lay belly-up belly in his stead. "Excuse me," the lizard turns to you and asks, "Do you know where I live?"
  6. If a Returned had a form of psychosis that made them sincerely believe that they are, or ought to be a lizard when they were alive, would they return as a lizard?
  7. Currently in a giggling fit at the idea that someone would look at Dalinar and would assume he likes hugs.
  8. I've got the pliminary sketch, as the line art isn't done yet. Like I said before the art isn't mine, it was made by @Kingsdaughter613 as a comission for me

The Chasmling is a diminutive yet aggressive axehound breed used for hunting small game in Herdaz. It's slender build and oversized mandibles have made it perfectly suited to infiltrating burrows and prying it’s quarry from crevices in the rock. These attributes, however are overshadowed by its most well known quality, its brash attitude. The Chasmling’s aggressive nature is immediately apparent to anyone whom it encounters as they have the tendency to bellow in a threatening manner at any entity they perceive to be challenging them. The size of the supposed incumbent does not matter to it, and can often be seen confronting anything from an impassive chull to a large boulder. This behavior has made the breed popular in Alethkar, especially in the war camps at the shattered plains, where it obtained its moniker. (critiques accepted and encouraged)

The Conch Canin is an ancient breed, almost dating back to the Shadow days, and is most well known for its two most prominent qualities, it’s astounding intelligence and it’s strong, perhaps infamous fear of highstorms. Due these factors it has been deemed the perfect archetypal candidate for many songs and folk tales. These stories usually take the form of the axehound seeing something of value, a piece of bread or the like, and will challenge another animal (usually a chull or a cremling) to a battle of wits. At first it will appears as though the Conch Canin has the upperhand, using some trick to its advantage, but then, just when it seems like the axehound has won, the other animal will start to pretend there is a high storm coming, the Canin, losing it’s nerve, will then flee in search of shelter, leaving the other animal to reclaim its prize, as well as something from the axehound. There are numerous variations of the tale, some featuring more exotic animals, others ending with the axehound winning, and, interestingly, one where there actually was a highstorm, causing the chull to pupate and preventing both from enjoying their coveted prize.
  14. The comission isn't done yet but the artist is Kingsdaughter613 and the piece will be of a soldier with a half-shard.

  19. Funfact #1: I drew in my planner, that's why there are lines. The paper is also really thin so I accidentally ripped the drawing in a few places Fun fact #2: You know the ambiguous "rude gesture" repeatedly mentioned in Stormlight? This is what I headcanon it to be. The Alethi would see the pinky as the weakest finger, only existing to complete the ten. So when someone give you "The Little Finger" they are basically calling you importantly useless, the pictured shard bearer is clearly provoking someone to a duel.
  20. I have been creating drawing Axehound breeds in the gallery and for fun I have been writing little head canons for each breed. I'm feelling a little iffy about my latest entree, so some advice and critques would be appreciated. So here is the picture: and here is the entree: The Conch Canin is an ancient breed, almost dating back to the Shadow days, and is most well known for its two most prominent qualities, it’s astounding intelligence and it’s strong, perhaps infamous fear of highstorms. Due these factors it has been the perfect archetypal candidate for folk tales and songs. These stories usually take the structure of the axehound seeing something of value, a piece of bread or the like, and will challenge another animal (usually a chull or a cremling) to a battle of wits. At first it will appears as though the Conch Canin has the upperhand, using some trick to its advantage, but then, just when it seems like the axehound has won, the other animal will start acting like there is a high storm coming, the Canin, losing it’s nerve, will then flee in search of shelter, leaving the other animal to reclaim its prize, as well as something from the axehound. There are numerous variations of the tale, some feature more exotic animals, others end with the axehound winning, and, interestingly, one where there actually was a highstorm, causing the featured chull to pupate and keeping both animals unable to enjoy the fruits of their wit. Note: Recently there have been reports of suspicious persons keeping Conch Canin in cages outside during highstorms. If you witness any such things report it to your local citylord, or captain of the watch immediately. I like the first part of the entree I liked, it gave feel to qualities of the breed and the lore surrounding it. The note at the end jutst feels a bit sloppy to me; I was trying to imply that an Off-worlder was experimenting with the breed in order to make intelligent animals like Ryshadium or Santhids. Do you think that I should, switch the entrees perspective to the aforementioned Off-worlder, rewrite in the same perspective to make it flow better or discard the idea and only keep the first paragraph?
