1. As I've already explained you're wrong Ishar only made it get get way to the cognitive realm. 2. I'll have to check again but I'm pretty sure a word of Brandon pacifically said that only Dalinar can do this. I'll look it up and then get back to you. 3. Never said he taught him I said he learned by observing. 4. That quote you gave literally says it takes 10 heartbeats to sumnon an honor blade.

What he opened Was only to the cognitive realm. So either 1. Perpendicularities do not penetrate all 3 realms or 2. What he created wasn't a perpendicularity.

Have you tried warbreaker?

1. His not pathetic his selfish, but not pathetic. The perfect example of moral selflessness. 2. Actually in some was he knows more then we do now. 3. He still is reasonable and that what leads him to act with honnor. It just that his honnor is only self motivated whereas before we assumed it was for the good of others.
-
Then only Dalinar can open a perpendicularity.

No, he opened a perpendicular to the COGNITIVE REALM. Only Dalinar can open one to the spiritual realm.

1. Yes we do read oathbringer. 2. We don't know which surge did that. But probably division not a bondsmith surge and that was with a dawnshard anyway. 3.Szeth could only do that when he was the only surge binder 4. No more threat than any other surgebinder 5.see my other post 6. He had enough time to learn how to kill a fussed so maybe he is just a fast learner.

1. That's exactly the point it takes 10 heartbeat to someone a honnor blade. As he said inferior. 2. Put in perpendicularities to the spiritual realm, Recharge spheres. 3. No, he saw him use lashings a few times in combat when he was fighting for his life. That's a lot different than Moash Watching and helping Kaldin experiments and expands his abilities 4.yea, your point?

1.You realize a lightweaver imprisonment an unmade right? It got nothing to do with your powers. All you need a connection to the unmade and the right gemstone. 2. Even if you did need to be a bondsmith so what? That doesn't give us any hint as there destructive power because it's not destroying any thing. 3. We see nothing szeth do that a 3 ideal radiante couldn't. 4. Even moash admitted that an honor blade is inferior to a sprenblade. 5.Dalinar is not your typical bond Smith he can do things Ishar can't with his honor blade. So you really can't compare the two. 6. Moash already knew how to use the surges from watch Kaliden .

Are the bondsmith really world ending though. Don't mistake me ishar sure did some pretty cool tricks. But none of them would have destroyed even a small town much less a world. The honor Blades are only useful if there are no other surgebinders, If The world is full of nights radiant of the 3rd ideal or higher, The worth of a honnor blade goes way down. Think of it like a shotgun. If it's the only gun in the world it sounds like a devastating unstoppable weapon, But in the world of machine guns tanks nuclear bombs, It's a criminal with a shotgun is still bad but really not anything we can't handle.

Avatars are not splinters.

Fair point.

Another good candidate.

Being enabled to stop shard blades, Stop magic based mind control, And Generally nullify investiture Doesn't seem overpowered for enough you? I find that confusing honestly, I consider to be so far the most overpowered metal. I can't wait Until people find out how to make it So it's not so expensive. Imagine Bullets that couldn't be pushed, Armor that could block sharp blades (or shard guns) Materials that caint be soulcast, Honestly Magic is gonna be a lot less powerful in the cosmere once people figure out How easy it is to make aluminum.
-
Probably something like that but I suspect all 4 done charges were involved somehow. The question I have was is was it intentional or were they trying to do something else and accidentally killed God?
-
Another good possibility what do we know about dragonsteel I haven't read wok prime?
-
And aluminum is the most useful metal in existence Is within the cosmere Because of its amazing ability to completely Nullify investiture. What's your point?
-
Cultivation + Odium cont. from KoW = ???
bmcclure7 replied to SwordNimiForPresident's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Malignance Shard could be interesting. I find this far more likely than genocide shard. We know that 2 worlds are in conflict in the future. ( Perhaps even now If the thioeries about the set are correct). So that is perhaps evidence of this. -
1. Are you kidding me the ability to completely Nullify investiture ( The literal power of God) is a mandain effect? This effect is surely as extreme as Rayseium. 2. Larasium, Only grants powers in alomancy Because of that particular invested arts connection to preservation. Is the other God medals our far less powerful in alomancy. We know this from looking at Atium.

I suspect there are downsides but not downsides in power but loss identity personhood. The avatars say that autonomy can no longer respond so I suspect that as she makes more avatars she becomes less a person and more a force.
-
What makes you think it's not? It behaves almost every way like a shard metal. It interacts with investiture like we've only seen shard metals do. Yes it is a preexisting metal in our world but we shouldn't assume that it would be the same for the Cosmere.

A proxy war, With the set serving as a proxy for roshar, And that goes blood's approxy for Scadrial. I like this theory it's certainly possible and lay possible and it makes a sort of sense. It would be amazing if we got a reveal that the leader of the set was somehow connected to roshar similar to how We got a reveal of the ghost bloods master in Rythm of war.
