Is it just me or does it seem like with every chapter released Sylladin seems more and more likely to become Cannon?

This team would tear each other apart. Taravangian and Jasnah would tear each other apart not just because one is atheist and the other a god but because they both would want to be in charge and would engage in all kinds of political and underhand games against each other. Wax and Wayne would just ditch the rest to do their own thing with night blood. Galladon and Light song would spend the entire time drinking and being otherwise useless while Sarene would be caught in between the political games of our 2 would be leaders. Hoid would either do one of these three things 1. Become a mastermind who controlled the group from the shadows and secretly lead their every move. 2. Get thrown out of the group after they got tired of his constant insults. 3. All of the above.

There could be people saying oaths who are not knights radiant. Remember that the Bond Smith Squires also say oh this, even though they have no spren to bond. If the spren retreat from the physical world and no longer bond people I could easily see a world with a knights radiant as an organization continues with this regular humans with may be a few dead blades swear oaths and still follow the ideology of the radiance. Has anyone considered that it may not be anyone we know or anyone in recent time it could be a historian far and the far in the future. It makes me wonder if in the future, the knights radiant will go away of the mistborn, ancient figures of legends that no longer exist.

Well, dictatorship is more about complete authority in one person not so much about hatred. In fact, there are many dictators who saw themselves as benevolent rulers. In some cases, they will even perceive that way, at least by some people.

Maya and Adolin aren’t as close as syl and kal. they’re close but syl and kal as has already been established, are as close as two people can be. As someone who has at one time did not had friends or a girlfriend and who now has both let me just say that there are two types of loneliness. There is the type of loneliness that Longing for friends, and a type of loneliness that is longing for a romantic partner. I’m all for supporting people wanting friends be they male friends or female friends. Friends are a good thing. Trust me. However, you shouldn’t pretend like having friends is substitute for having a romantic relationship. It’s a different kind of thing. They may be some overlap for friendships that grow into something more but still the relationship are distinctly different. As different as food and water.

Well, here’s some reasons I’ve come up with. 1. Because who cares if it’s a trope if it works, it works if they work as a couple who cares if there’s a trope outside of the context of the story that you don’t like I mean, isn’t the whole point of immersing yourself in a story to forget about the outside stuff. Isn’t it that why we read? 2. relationships don’t stay stagnant they evolve change. And you said yourself there are as close as people can be so there’s only one other way. The relationship can evolve one step they haven’t taken. So it only makes sense to go in that direction 3. This may just be me, but I feel like representation should come secondary to what works for the story and the characters. And romantic relationship feels natural. Why not do it? There can be other ways for you to scratch the itch of needing platonic representation . New characters can be introduced if necessary. 4. Because it would allow us to explore a kind of relationship relationship between human and spren that we have never seen before. we have steam coworkers, friends, teachers, and students. But as of yet we have yet to see what a spren and human romantic pair. 5. Because bringing a third person into their relationship would cheap in it. If we saw other woman enter Kal’s life and them draw closer together than syl would inevitably come become a third wheel. This would cheap in their relationship. I know I shouldn’t post twice, but I did want to answer this as a man myself. I don’t see how I could possibly ever be damaged by two fictional people having a relationship, no matter how trophy or cliché it is. Well, I personally believe men and women can be friends platonically. I don’t see how someone’s disbelief in this possibly hurts me in anyway. I will say it as a man I don’t think the solution to the male loneliness epidemic is for us all to become platonic friends. I mean, if you want platonic friends, you could have platonic male friends you don’t need platonic women friends. Men are not coming onto women because they want platonic friendship. And to act like simply encouraging men to only have platonic relationships with women, somehow satisfy male loneliness is absurd. If a male is wants a girlfriend or some other romantic partner no amount of platonic friendship is going to scratch that itch. I say this as a man myself who knows from experience. Who was for a long time lonely. Regardless I don’t see how sly and Kal’s platonic or romantic relationship at all impact this. I think you strongly overestimating the impact of the relationships. Status of two fictional characters will have on the world.

i feel like it lacks Jasnah’s cynical view of religion. There is a reverence to the tone when it talks the wind that’s not how Jasnah would speak about it. It also not technically enough to be her.

I was thinking about syl being the wind, not the writer You assume that the wind and the voice are the same thing we don’t know that for certain. Another possibility which could be interesting as no one we know, but instead of historian generations form now. Or perhaps just in back half.

True there is definitely nuanced fact, I suspect it surge binding and void binding will have a lot of overlap based on what we have seen Renren do based on the void binding chart. That said it does appear that the forms are using something other than surge binding at least what we traditionally think of surge binding . True we got a form seeming to use some form of connection. But there’s also forms that shoot lightning out of their hands, see the future (a known form of void binding) delete memories, manifest, super strength, manifest super speed. There is certainly overlap between what the Regals are doing and surge binding, nonetheless, it is not identical by any means.

Brainstorming time Now that the Cosmere character creations is out is time for the best part of Trpg home brew. I Love all the original race in Cosmere but we can’t have fantasy without elves ( this is a joke please elf haters don’t write mean comments below. I’m just trying to be funny) so what better place to start our homebrew then by finally bringing elves into the Cosmere. OK, so I’m haven’t slept in days so my mind isn’t quite so functional, but this is what I have so far I’m trying to construct a elf talent tree (I feel like the singers they should get their own unique talent tree) With half the talents based around attributes found in all elves available to all elves while the others would only be available to elf of a particular culture (those being elves, wood elves, And high elves. Sadly, I haven’t the clue where to start constructing these talents at least not in my sleep deprived state. This thread will be for me and anyone to jot down else interested ideas of possible homebrew talents for the elf ancestry characters in the Cosmere. All ideas are good ideas when you’re brainstorming, so don’t hold back.

Well, since you’re playing the conqueror ear, I think you can assume that your army is going to be the same sizes the total earth armies. And I think you underestimate the Cosmere they’ve got some pretty impressive magic tec. There are many of them would have problems with supply and logistics. I didn’t think of the father machine that would be a good choice for the super weapon. Though I am not sure how affected it would be different but still. Even if it was only 10%effective still would still be devastating. Especially if you had a few of them and could use transportation to move them around to key locations. You might be even able to give it a more violent command so that it was more aggressive. Truly dangerous super weapon.

Thanks It’s good to finally have more information about forms of power, and at least the names of some lesser void spren I wonder if anyone else knows if there’s any more information about these forms in the RPG?
