Having a Bad Day?: Get 'yer Hugs here!!
Darth Woodrack replied to Curious Anamaximder's topic in General Discussion
Thanks. -
Thanks. It's from a joke a friend made.

The bottom part? The rest is a collection of starwars quotes. And the bottom part isn't for me, it's for everyone else with that problem.

It would depend on how soon they were brought back. A few seconds after being pronounced legally dead, probably. After being frozen for a year, while the body is still preserved and the mind is still there, it would most likely be a very different person. Of course, to that degree it is only speculation because this technology will most likely not be even close to invention by the time our grandchildren are dead and buried.

Nightwatcher Boon/Bane (Game)

That is epic. These pancakes are man eaters. I wish for the infinity gauntlet to be laid on my hand, with one allowed snap unaffected by the bane. -
A dozen Precursors chased Kevin through the alleys. He had gone rogue. They decided to bring him in for it. In the last three months he had obliterated three gangs and crippled The Jackals former criminal empire. It took the Precursors almost a year to catch one man, and he had done all that in three months. They were still chasing him So what if they never got a trial? They never gave one to the people they killed. It's not like the Precursors actually cared about the law. The Jackal was a murderous psychopath and he had watched Walker cry, actually cry, when he died. He turned a corner and dropped dead. There was blood and bodies. A mugging. On the wall was painted a Jackal Head. The Jackal Head. The one that haunted his dreams. The runners came up behind him and tried to jump him and it became a blur. He thought that he threw the first one into the second, and might have just punched the other two, but in a few moments he was the only one still standing. He turned back to the wall and saw three bodies. All men. All with guns. Quite obviously special incursions troopers. They were also obviously not killed here. A message then. For him? Couldn't be. Who would be sending a message to him? He heard more Precursors in the distance and ran off. A teenage girl with a broken obsidian staff stood on the roof looking down on him. Interesting. He wasn't who the message was supposed to reach, but it certainly had affected him. She would have to watch him. They both faded into the darkness, and the Precursors lost them both.

Note: This is written from an unbiased, nonreligious standpoint using the assumption that if something cannot be proven it should not be used in science. So, fi you religiously disagree with this, my apologies. Free will is not, in fact, real. Our brains are simply chemical cocktails getting bombarded with electrical stimuli caused by an utterly random formation of our bodies in a perpetuating form, that became a pattern. When something happens, it sends stimuli to our minds, which causes those balls of matter to send a different signal which causes our bodies to move in a certain way. It is actually utterly random, and we do not control it. In fact, the entire universe is just bouncing particles, and we have just become, this. A different element you might consult is the probability illusion. Probability is an illusion. As in, even if we were to say, "There's a ninety percent chance of object A getting hit by object B, instead of object C," and had statistics and science to back it up, and object C hit object A, then there was never any chance of object B being the thing to hit it. This relates because our brains work like that, but infinitely more complex. We are receiving constant stimuli which is causing constant response. In truth, if you think about it, death is simply a total lack of stimuli. On the bright side, this proves the scientific necromancy would actually be possible once we understand how the mind works, we can start the stimuli reaction again.

The little sibling thing was totally untrue. Little siblings do not exist to serve older siblings. Dumb siblings exist to serve intelligent siblings. 16. Small people can wriggle out of grapples easier.- 33 replies

Having a Bad Day?: Get 'yer Hugs here!!

This isn't just today, I mean it's 12:30 am for me so that would be strange, but just in life I don't feel happy. The Shard and Discord are the only things that really bring me happiness. I love you all, and think you're amazing, but I honestly don't know if I'll survive this year. If I make it to eighteen I'll be shocked. I don't feel like my friends care about me very much, except for like two or three exceptions, and my family clearly doesn't. Honestly the shard and discord are the closest thing I have to a loving family, and even here I don't seem to be very popular. Whenever I post anything it doesn't get as many upvotes, participants or replies than someone else who posts the exact same thing like five minutes later. It just makes me feel empty. I'm going to therapy... well today actually, but still. I seem to have serious depression, very bad self worth, and cannot make it through a school day without self harm, and nobody seems to notice. The stabbing of myself with a pencil is not a cry for help, but when the teacher leans over me to look at what I've done and it's being rammed into my arm you'd think they'd notice. Anyways, thanks for readying. To those who don't recognize me, it's Darth Woodrack, I changed early. -
Well, is this dead or did half the rp just go inactive?

Since you replied to this a day after my birthday, and I'm the first one to respond to it, I'd say probably not.

Granted. It is a giant invincible irremovable shardpaperclip that is attaching you to the firing end of a dawn shard. I wish for my cat to live forever, loose the ability to feel pain, keep his same kitty mind, retain the capacity to move, keep his same kitty body, not gain any homicidal instincts, not grow in size, and not change how he feels about anyone he already knows. -

By the point system I would rate that as fine. I am not a character rater, so that's just my opinion however.
