"I wouldn't call the wall a mirror." She disagreed, although she could follow his trail of thought. "They speak of events that haven't happened yet and they spoke of them long before we even considered to enter the cave." She shifted her weight to her other foot, still waiting for the two of them to get ready to walk over to the meeting point. "A mirror, yes, but one able to predict the future and in an impressively accurate way." Her hand made a small gesture outwards to stress her next words, "I wouldn't call that a mirror, but I'm not sure what to call it-" She hesitated considered to tell him about the spren sitting in the wall. But she didn't know what kind of spren, had only suspections and she didn't want to talk about her suspections loudly before she had confirmed them. There were many possibilities but the power to predict the future as accurate as that - interesting and dangerous if it ended up in the wrong hands. "The mirror cave could be anything." She changed the topic. "From real mirrors, to a species mimiking what we do, or how we behave. Maybe like the animals that imitated our voices."

Temeria noticed Aln's eyes resting on her sword and she hesitated, then reached out for it. It was a good weapon, made of high quality steel and she kept the edge honed and sharp. You didn't neccessarily cut with a sword, usually you stabbed or when you slashed you relied the weight to result in injuries. That a shard edge didn't hurt was another fact. She was about to hand it over to Aln to take a look at, but when she turned she saw words floating over Aln's head. Did she want to see some of the magic? What a question. She nodded, intrigued by the sight. Aln's powers. She placed the sword down again, slightly relieved that there was no need to give it to someone else and leaned back in her stool. "Of course." She replied loudly, glad that Aln had chosen a script she could read. Magic. She felt like a girl again, about to see a beautiful play or getting ready to listen to a fairy tale. The stories about Radiants had always fascinated her, and while she had listened to them as often as possible, it had been so long ago and it had been stories. She had never expected to meet one of the ten orders, lest alone eat dinner with them. Not mentioning that it was her sister. Her stiff and scholarly sister was a Radiant. The two images didn't really fit together, she had thought of them as mysterious figures, strong fighters, but instead, her sister. "Show me." She continued to smile, excited to learn more about it.

Mart shook his head and looked over at Lena. Lena knelt down next to him and hugged him. "Yerin will stay with you for a while, is that alright?" She asked him and he nodded, face brightening. "Can I continue to paint my wall?" He ask and she smiled. "Sure." She didn't really care how his wall looked, but he loved to play with the paint and Yerin usually managed that the result looked more or less alright. Quickly she texted the woman, asked her to come over and then stood up again, took her bag and was about to leave the Forge when she remembered something. "We've got some wigs, makeup and all that." She offered and made a gesture towards a room. "If you want to, there is no need to, of course." But given that they were heading to a Great Guild it most likely couldn't hurt at all. When she opened the door she looked through the different stacks, she had organized everything from cloths, over wigs, beards, fake scars to make up and picked a few small things to use herself. The guild most likely could track them once they had their faces, but if it came to running away it could be an advantage if you suddenly changed some prominent features like your hair colour. She pulled her red hair into a bun and covered it with a brown wig, used a mirror to make sure, that it sat correctly. A little make up to change her eyesbrows and lenses for her eyes and she was good. There was no need to cover her face completely, not if they wanted to harmlessly take a look around. Carefully she stored them in her bag, made sure she kept everything organized, so that she could find her poisons quickly. And then walked over to the door, waited for the others. @Voidus @Silva @I think I am here.

Shana smiled when they agreed, wondered if she had a chance to beat both of them. It depended on their strategy, and it depended on their skills. She couldn't suppress her excitement when she hoped they would provide a challenge. She liked a good challenge the moment when everything depended on your body on your previous training and on nothing else. She loosened her shoulders and distributed her weight evenly, made sure she had a good stance and could see both of them. Edwin was using a weapon with the same reach as hers, Nym would need to get closer to be able to hit. So she needed to try to keep Nym away, so that she couldn't use her rapier effectively and she needed to avoid getting close enough that she couldn't use her staff anymore. Edwin had the same surges like Rob, so, she swallowed and pushed the thought away. If he wanted to, he could end the whole thing with nothing more than a thought. Training, Shana, she reminded herself. Your goal is to fight as long as possible, to teach, not to end this within the first seconds. Nym and Edwin seemed both inexperienced, a longer fight might help them more, than if she tried to get rid of them as soon as possible. Shana took a deep breath and inhaled, reviewd different strategies against several opponents. Most of them were based on reducing the number of your enemies as quickly as you could, if she changed that part, it would be interesting. Lifting her arms she made sure her hair was bound back tightly and then closed her hands around her weapon, offering them the first attack. @Eluvianii @Aragorn

Snake got to her feet, cursed the boy's lanky arms and legs. He really needed to grow more, get the proportions right again. She tensed when a new person entered the fight, but as the person tripped over their show laces, she ignored him for now. Instead she drew Mike's knives and then moved forward, fast and dangerous, attempted to bite Vio's arm with her long, sharp teeth. Vio was focused on Mari, so hopefully he wouldn't notice her moving until it was too late. @kenod @Oduim’s Chmapion

Wita listen to the conversation, tried to follow it. She moved over to Marcel, stayed close to him and considered the situation. The lights were coming, she thought she could even hear the sounds they made. Scary and relentless they dragged her on, deeper and deeper into her memories. Shivvering she tried to understand the talk about ghosts, and stared at Kira in awe when she glowed again. "You're a fairy as well." She said astonished. "You are so beautiful." Happily she looked at her and smiled, wondered if Marcel could teach her to become a fairy as well. "Why don't we climb out of the window?" She asked quietly and tugged at Marcel's jacket. @I think I am here.

I don't think that we need to vote on it. If you don't need it you can put it into personality, but as some want to have it as a separate category we can leave it where it is. I usually delete it as well, and just include it in the personality part. The advantage of it being a separate field to form in is, that people have to consider it, no matter where they write the information down in the end.

Shana shrugged. "I've been training how to fight for over ten years. I practice my skills daily." She grinned. "It's good to see, that it hasn't been for nothing." Her grin vanished when she turned earnest. "The only reason why I am here, is to fight for you. To take it over, to try to protect you. Both of my surges are offensive, as is my style to fight. I focus on eliminating my enemies quickly, even if it means, a higher risk to myself. Rob is different. His style is steadier, slower when it comes to dealing damage, but in the end he usually has less severe injuries than I have." At least when they weren't fighting each other and she usually changed a bit when training with a weaker oponent. There was no need to eliminate a friend, here time was her friend, as it allowed for them to practice longer. She looked at Nym as well. "You can join us, but I'd prefer if we used practice weapons. I don't know either of your skills good enough to judge if you are able to avoid an accidental lethal attack, and I'd prefer if none of us was killed or maimed during practice." For a moment she was silent, considered how to go on with two of them here. She wished that Rob would join them, but to ask him to train, while he was talking to Ashlyn, she couldn't do that. "If you want to, I could face both of you." She offered, because it was the best solution that came to her mind. Edwin wasn't that good a fighter, and Nym - hard to judge after watching her fight for a few seconds. She suspected that she could best both of them in a duel, if they acted strategically well together she had a high chance of loosing. At least if she didn't went all out. Which she wouldn't. She wouldn't even offer it to them. @Aragorn

Mahad collapsed his wings, tumbled down and landed on Rob's leg. Not that his form made a difference, but he liked the dramatic flair behind the action. He shaped his body into the form of a lizard, the usual small clouds of smoke escaping him now and then. He had been convinced that cup could fly, had thought that all spren could, but then he had only played with Glint and Lopen, rarely with another one, so maybe he had simply assumed. He shook his head, as if to clear his head after tumbling down and looked up at Cup. Running over Rob's leg and chest he climbed on his arm as well. "We can walk, or run?" He suggested and nudged her gently. "Do you like shiny things? We could search for them. Or we could paint." He liked painting, although Shana usually forbade it. But as Shana wasn't here, there was no reason not to.

Wita nodded and placed the Newspaper into the box, her face strained. Sirens. Soon she would see the blue, flickering light. With a quick, fast turn she looked away from the table, away from their findings, and switched off the light. Fast, they had to be fast. The moon and a lone street light still shone through the window, tinted the room into a dim light and she waved happily at the little fairy, glad that she and her friend had made it back them in time. She bumped into a stool on her way back, her eyes hadn't adjusted to the dim light yet and she missed it completely, to occupied with her thoughts, or rather to occupied with not thinking, with avoiding her memories. With a loud noise it clattered to the ground and she yelped in pain and surprise when her shin hurt. "Can we please go?" she asked them urgently and left the stool where it was. "I can't hear that, it's not good." @Eluvianii @Hope Spren

Lena nodded and continued to eat. It was nice that they had some company, even if it was only for an evening. When she was done she got to her feet and walked back into the kitchen. She looked Alask over again, considered to adjust the bodyweight she usually calculated him with and then decided against. He hadn't really gained or lost weight. Leaning against their fridge she looked over at Eve and Zyn and then nodded to herself. Difficult to calculate, but for harmless things it would work. Humming she fetched some small, coloured bags and placed them on the counter, then she started to sort through her assortment. A pain-killer couldn't hurt. A weaker one for smaller injuries and a stronger one, for the real painful stuff. She liked that one, the side effects were funny, but as vulnerable as Shez was to silver something able to battle the pain of a severe burn wouldn't hurt. She tapped her fingers against their kitchen counter and then added a small vial and a finely ground powder. It should be enough, and if not, she would bring a larger selection herself anyway. Returning to Alask she sat down and lifted the small green bag. "Pain killers. The usual type, nothing special here." She placed it on the table next to him, then held up the blued bag. "Another pain killer, but believe me, it will blow your mind. You'll have a real good time, once you took that one." Grinning she pushed the yellow bag with the powder over. "Can staunch a bleeding, but I advice against leaving it in the wound, could end in a nasty infection. But for emergencys it works fine." Her grin widened when she placed the vial next to the mix. "That one is a favourite of mine. Quick, deadly and utterly beautiful. It will destroy your nerves, attack you muscles and that dose will kill you within seconds." Walking over to Zyn and Eve she handed them the same things, minus the vial. "Don't take them, if you don't trust me, but in that case, hand them back to me, please." She shrugged not really caring if they accepted her offer or not. "Otherwise we can leave, once the three of you are ready." @Voidus @Silva =================

If you used him in Era 3, you won't. Era 4 is more or less the same like Era 3 in that regard.

The new girl, Nym she thought entered the training room, just as Edwin attacked again. Shana concentrated on the attack, shifted her weight to be able to move out of his path, when he left foot lost its footing. Water covered it, cool and soft and she jerked back, lost her balance when she could only think of getting away. Fear crossed her face, and she barely managed to soften his blow, when it hit her own staff and knocked both of them straight into her chin. It hurt, and she tasted blood on her tongue, but at least she was away from the water. Instinct had her react, instead of stopping the fight and talking to Nym. Her heart was still beating fast, and she wasn't really thinking, acting was easier, especially when it came to water. Immediatly she adjusted the grip on her weapon and aimed for his shoulder, then changed course at the last second, using the lower end of her weapon instead aiming at his hip. She went for speed instead of a hard blow, she didn't want to hurt him. ====================== Mahad left the room when Nym arrived, knew that Shana didn't need him. He zipped through the house until he found Rob and then flew in quick circles around him. "Cup?" He asked. "Do you want to play?" He was bored, disappointed that they hadn't found a different shiny and beautiful thing earlier. "We could ask Glint as well, if you want to?" @I think I am here.

Everybody with a character idea can post them here, once we've got the characters we can start I think. I feel like we've more or less sorted the setting, the rest depends on the characters, because they will determine which additional parts of worlbuilding we need. I suggest that we start at a point, where the knowledge of the impeding city has more or less spread, but maybe through rumors, with lots of false information as well.

She looked at him for a moment, listened to his words and couldn't believe them. He had been worried. That was it. And so easily she had a path a purpose. Something else than cooking and listening to imbeciles. She could learn, she could do something. A bright smile spread on her face when she happily looked up at him. "I do." She told him, without adding anything else. There was no need to. He would teach her and she could learn. "What do-" She started to ask, when she heard a sound she easily recognized and immediatly she pushed her thoughts into her bracelet slowed them down enough to avoid associating anything with it. The world around her seemed to speed up, when she needed more time to process things, the gleam in her eyes dulling a little. Apologetically she spread her hands, the sound too interwined with her memories, too close to what happened, that even now it crept forward and she felt panic cross her face when she feared that is wasn't enough, that this time, she couldn't stop it. Apprentice. She repeated the word again and again, focused on nothing else. If she wanted to succeed she had to grow, she had to move past this. Wita exhaled forced her thoughts to the matter at hand. She walked over to the table, lifted their discoveries up into the air, wordlessly asking if they should take them or not. Outside, sirens could be heard, slowly coming closer. @Eluvianii

Wita lowered her glance when he declined, disappointment written all over her face. It had been stupid to think he would say yes. He had offered to tell her some facts about storing, not to teach her his own art. "I ..." She started and then fell silent. Understand? Maybe. She had assumed, had assumed to much, had jumped without knowing how far the ground was away and now was angry that falling hurt. Stupid. She should have known. Awkwardly she lifted a hand and moved it though her hair, unsure what to do now, what to reply. "I am sorry." She finally apologized quietly. "You offered to teach me about my ability and instead of taking your hand, I reached out for the whole arm." Shifting her weight to another foot she hesitated and then shook her head. "I don't mind this," she mirrored his gesture, "And I know that you are no teacher. I don't need a teacher, and I would drown at a university." She needed someone who would give her the time to learn at her own pace. She had hoped that he could understand, that he would be alright with her taking more time than a usual person would, but as usual she had missed facts, had excluded them from her equation the moment they comlicated things. The light around them was even and calm, and thankfully the man had kept his walls white. It was a harmless environment, one she could deal with for now. "I never considered that you might not want to have an apprentice." she looked up again, forced a weak smile on her face. "I am sorry. I obviously missed to take your side into consideration."

His reply was kind and it almost surprised her. She had taken all kind of political consequences into account, had tried to come up with words that were the least harmful, but in the end he simply understood. She had come here to stop another invasion from happening, but she had hoped, secretly she had hoped for a few days without politics, without all the complicated problems that tended to control her life. And yet, she was the one always refering to them, hiding between them. Althea suppressed a sigh at herself. No politics, not until there was the need to. That felt better. Pensively she replayed his words in her head again, analyzed them for a hidden meaning, for a threat she might have missed, but there was nothing. He'd simply accepted her decision, despite the fact that she had declined to talk to his friends. And he smiled. Althea replied to his smile with one of her own, small and easy to miss, but unmistakingly there. She was grateful for his understanding, that he simply let the matter slide and didn't push her into territory that would leave her in the need of explaining something she wouldn't explain to him. "Thank you." She told him sincerely and when he stood up, started to pack the camp, she looked away, the smile vanishing again when she resumed her usual mask. Wes was still holding on to the cage and she considered to say something more that might help him along a little, that gave him a bit more self-assurance, that made him view his skills with pride. Thank him for helping them during the invasion? No, that was too much. It would only most likely only cow him again. Offer to organize a position, no that stressed her position in the guild, and that was the last thing she wanted. She lacked information about what he wanted and if she guessed wrong she might do more harm than good. So for now the Kalea was enough. She turned to him and placed a hand on the cage, turned the glass into strong and durable plastic, changed the shape a little and it looked like a typical cage for a rabbit, and added a handle as well, so that he could carry it easier. Usually these cages were metal, but as they had met two life forms able of imitating the allomantic arts already, she considered plastic a safer choice. The Kalea perked up at her use of Stormlight, stood on his legs and sniffed the air curiously. When she stopped it resumed to nibble at the mushroom. Corette walked up to them, watched her for a moment and Althea calmly looked back, made a mental note to remember that she had obviously caught this woman's interest. No real surprise here. If she were in Corette's place she'd have already organized a spy to keep an eye on Althea. "We will pack our things and come over to the far wall. Meeting is in fifteen minutes." She repeated the instructions to avoid any kind of missunderstanding and got to her feet, started to pack her belongings together. "You can stay with us, if you want to." She offered Wes, careful to phrase her words as a suggestion, and not an order. A thought crossed her mind and she considered the idea. In the medieval ages on Earth late at night, once every official business was finished the highest noble would take of his hat and officially announce chaos. Basically it meant, that for the rest of the evening all titles, all formatilites could be discarded. Maybe she could do something like that, make it easier for him to interpret her words. She continued to consider this while she packed the remaining food and shouldered her bag. "I'm interested in the mirror cave. Especially what these mirrors show. Judging the caves so far there has to be some kind of active investiture." She stated, carefully kept her excitement out of her voice and waited for the other two to get ready. @ElephantEarwax @I think I am here.
