Shepard was about to know at the door again, when suddenly a bright light errupted form the house. Cursing her drew his weapon, wished his partner hadn't circled around to the back. He grimaced, the pressed down the handle and to his surprise, the door swung open. Inside the blinding light hurt his eyes, and he blinked, lifted a hand to shield his eyes. "Turn off the light." he shouted into the house unable to see anything, his eyes needing time to adjust. "We are only here because of the loud music, there is no need for aggressive behaviour!" Still he moved to the side of the door, using the doorframe as cover. If that guy found it funny to blind the police, you had to expect everything. Wita nodded. Focus on tonight sounded good. She didn't want to think about too many things anyway. She doubted anybody would be against her doing something, learning something. They all thought her stupid, but they meant well and they cared. They would like Marcel. "What do you use to carve?" she inquired and then added, "And what do you carve into?"

"I was more thinking of a rotation. You could take a look at that department, see where you might find some knowledge you might benefit from and study it for a while." She explained and then added. "But there are a lot of good books on the topic, so if you prefer reading, that can be easily organized." Althea observed two members of the expedition pick up some speed, but she was fine with her slower one for the moment. There was no need to hurry. Whatever they found, it would still be there in a few minutes. And if it wasn't, then it wasn't. She was nearly surprised by her own calm, but it felt good, so good that for once not everything rested on her shoulder's but on someone else's. She would keep her eyes open and the rest would sort itself at one point or the other. @Invocation

"I won't strike a weaponless man." Sagitta told him coldly, his fear strangly hurting. Trust went both sides and obviously, he didn't trust her at all. She wondered why, she had stayed true to her word, she had never harmed him and he was no threat. The fact that he expected her to hit him said more than words. Maybe it was for the best if she left, if this friendship ended before it would break one of them completely. A relationship needed trust, and it needed good faith. Protection. He claimed he'd acted like this to protect her. "You offered my memories up. And they weren't yours to offer." She told him slowly, as if explaining to a child. "You accepted, that should Gati accept your offer, that I would be harmed. You placed your gain in knowledge above my wellbeing." She gave a curt, hurt laugh. "Do you really expect me to stand by and wait for that decision?"

"You shouldn't keep it. Let's destroy it." Shana made a weak gesture towards the marble and took a deep, shaking breath at his next question. "Nothing is alright. I am a killer. A monster. I poison good things and I destroy them completely." It felt strange to spreak about it, to even word it. And yet, it felt good. Incredibly good. Because it was true. She was ruining everything. Her relationship with Ben, her friendship with Rob. Cassie. All on her plate. And she didn't want to anymore. She didn't want to set things aflame to cause nightmares for her friends. She wanted to be liked and loved and she wanted for things to stay that way. She was so lound, so emotional, always keeping everybody occupied. but in the end she needed what Ben had offered. A shoulder to lean on, someone who was able to calm her down, to balance her out. And in the end, she would destroy Ben as well. On a whim, because she felt like it. "I am afraid that I loose you, that I loose everybody here. And it drives me crazy." She fell silent, shook her head. "Did your dreams stop?" She asked quietly. "The ones you had, after our - training?"

Gods. Gati, a god. Sagitta bit her teeth together in surprise, to suppress the anger that started to boil inside of her. "You bargained with my memories." She told him, her voice shaking. "You offered my memories up for a resurrection." She shook her head in disbelief. "This is against the order of things, the dead stay dead. That you even consider something like it - " she discarded that line of thoughts. Price wouldn't have known about this, so maybe the god had brought the matter up. "We had a bargain." She told him coldly. "And you broke it. Your word it worth nothing, you have no honor. Why should I stay here and trust your word again?"

Shana handed him the coin and added. "I sent you a picture. Our spren painted. The coin is Cup's." She sighed, shook her head. "I'm not sure about sleeping either." looking over her shoulder for Ben leaned against his doorframe. "What is it? I've never seen something like that before." Maybe Ben would know. He was smart, he knew things and he knew how to create. She looked at the sphere to avoid looking at his face, unsure what to tell him, how to ask if he still was her friend. If he wanted her to leave to make room for Ashlyn. It was so complicated and somehow she wished that things were back to easy. Back to having each others back and that was it. Nothing more. She was the problem, her fear to loose him, to loose them all nearly chocking her. Instead she stared at the black marble like thing, hoped that her eyes wouldn't give her away.

She allowed him to catch up, didn't change the pace at which she was moving. It was only one set of steps, light, no armor and she heard his voice when he was close. Sagitta stopped, stayed like this for a moment before she deliberatetly, slowly turned around. Price. He looked different, less composed maybe, had left his ever present ledger behind. She looked him over, checked for a weapon that might be dangerous to her, and then discarded him as a threat in that regard. His instinct was dangerous, but he wouldn't live long enough to bring it fully to bear. "Do you want to stop me?" She asked him calmly, pointedly looked at the guards. "Chain me and call me prisoner of war?" As if he would do that. There was no war between their countries, but you could always construct something. Still, to even grant her that status would meant that he had a sliver of honor beneath his skin, and he had shown that there was none.

Erase her memory. Sagitta turned to Price, hurt and shock visible on her face. He had known. He had known and he hadn’t told her. He hadn’t warned her. He even offered her memories up again. A second time. Or maybe it wasn’t the second time. If he so easily offered them up, he had done it before. Feeling cold she looked at him for a moment and then nodded slowly. So that was it. She had thought that he would really try to help her get back home, but he had no reason to. He bargained with her mind, with her soul, without batting an eye. Her face closed when she mentally moved away from her surprise, shut out the nagging voice telling her that she had been a fool to trust him. She had thought that she understood, that they both fought. She had thought that he had some kind of honor. She had heard stories of Cahaya, of Tühine, of people without honor, but she still had walked into his blindly. There was none. She couldn’t trust his word, no he had broken his. No harm, in no way. And erasing her memories definitely counted as harm. She considered to challenge him, to offer him a chance to regain his honor, but no. He had no respect for her traditions, she had told him what a promise, what a bargain meat to her. There was no sense in a duel. Sagitta looked at him for another moment, before she spoke. “May the gods bury your name and may eternity claim your memory so that you are forgotten.” Without saying something else she turned around, her eyes meeting Zura's for a moment in a silent question if she wanted to come along. Then she started to walk towards the exit of the room. She held the crutch loosely in her hand, used her instinct to protect her leg for the moment. If he send his guards after her - she still was armed with the tomahawk and Zura's knife and then she would own a set of armor as well. @I think I am here. @Lunamor

So regarding starting this. I figured we might want to have a small settlement in the place where Alleycity is in our time, or at least close by, so that we have some kind of landscape to interact with. I figured, that maybe these settlements are strewn all over the place, but that one, is of course special due to it location. What do you think?

She nodded, slowly stepped away from him. "Thank you." She said quietly. "Let's talk once I brought the coin to Rob? I don't want to sleep yet and we'll get a test back tomorrow, so I don't really want to wake up tomorrow as well." Unhappily she shook her head and then sighed. "Okay coin first. And maybe I could sleep on the matress again?" She waved at Cup and Mahad and then walked upstairs, knocked at Rob's door. "Rob? I've got something for you for Cup. Are you still awake?" @I think I am here.

"No. It's not about your name." Sagitta stepped forward, her weight on the balls of her feet. "It's about the fact that I can' remember you introducing yourself the first time and that strangely I can't recall you sitting down next to us by the carriage." She lifted her crutch a little, as if to use it as a weapon. "It's about the fact, that Price thinks you can ressurect that man, and that you didn't say, that you can't, but that you won't." Narrowing her eyes she took another step. "If you can ressurect, the question what else you can do, is a small one, and even more important it leads to another question. What did you do to me? And who are you? I might only be a soldier, but I'm not stupid."

Her sister wasn't eating. Temeria slowly placed her fork down, probably there was custom here, that you didn't start eating once your food arrived? Waiting for it to go cold seemed stranged, but if it was custom she would try to adapt. "They changed their cart in Nalthis, shortly after they arrived. That's when they found me. They had a strange accent, but they seemed acustomed to traveling between the worlds. As if it was nothing special. If I understoos them correctly they have a route they follow and as soon as they arrive, they change their cloths and equipment to appear like locals." She thought for a moment. "I don't know why you ask, to be honest. I doubt the names they gave me are their real ones, but they, they are here right now. I came to the Alleyverse with them."

Do you mean that part? Aylitha: Intelligence (30), Scholarship (molecular biology) (20), average. Hand to hand combat, average. (20) Karin: Hand to hand combat (40), Expert. Intelligence, smart (15), Scholarship (molecular biology), average. (20) I didn't add them, but rated them separately for each for them. Same as the weaknesses, as one of them is specific for Karin. If I took the highest number in each skill set and added these together, you would end up with a higher rating in total for both of them. So basically I did the following: Skills of the body = 180 (M) // 110 (S) (I didn't count the "no need to sleep" as a magical skill, as I interpreted it as a bodyli feature. Plus Aylitha specific skills (70 S) // Karin Specific Skills (75 S) // in comparison: highest ability added up: intelligent (30) + scholarship (20) + hand to hand (40) = 90 Minus Weaknesses affecting both (25 W) Minus Weaknesses affecting only one of them (20 W // only Karin) Alternative: highest ability added up: Total sum: 180 (M) + 110 (S) + 90 (S) - 45 W = 335 for both (which in the end is, where Aylitha ended up, as the difference for the skills is being made up, by the weakness that only affects Karin)

@kenod Here you are. I'd hoped a little for Voidus to rate them with his Epic System, as I felt that it would be fairer in the end, but I gave my best

"I agree. With your map and the directions you gave us - we should be easily able to find our way around, and if we can't we will ask someone." Lena continued to smile and added. "And thanks for your offer to talk to Erlend, but I don't think it's neccessary to bother a guild leader." Hopefully they could circumvent this. A guild leader. No matter how nice they were, if this Erlend guy lead the guild he most likely could wipe them out within a single breath. "Thank you so much and see you later." She tried to finish the conversation and completely irgnored the part about religious meetings. What a crap. Religion was nothing but an excuse for those to week for forge their own path. Her fingers moved towards her bag, itching to blow some powder into his face to seem twitching from the poison in his lungs. "Let's go." She turned to Eve and Alask, wondered if they really could straightforward as for the motivater and be done with it. But then, it wouldn't be half as fun as stealing what they needed.

"Thank you." Ophelia smiled, took a deep breath and walked over to the man behind the counter. "I would like to work. As a thank you for the food." She told him without any flourishes around her words. Surprised he looked at her, then shrugged. "Sure. Try to get as many customers here as possible." Ophelia nodded and looked around unsure what to do now. Ana would know, but she wanted to do it by herself, wanted to show that she could do it on her own. Hesitantly she approached a man. "Hello." She said timidly. "Would you like to eat a skewer?" The man didn't even reply, only walked past, leaving her standing there, feeling incredibly studpid. For a moment she was unsure what to do, then she approached a woman. Maybe women were easier. "Hello." She tried to look confident, but failed. "Would you like to eat a skewer?" The woman looked up and turned towards her and Ophelia saw, that she was holding an apple in her hand. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see-" she stuttered and paled. This was awful, she was the worst person to do this. Someone walked past, another woman, beautiful locks reaching her shoulders. "wow." Ophelia murmured and the woman turned, looked at her. "I meant your hair." She tried to explain, wished she had decided to wait until afternoon. "Thank you." The woman smiled and Ophelia took her chance. "Would you like a skewer?" She asked and the woman considered for a moment, then walked over to the vendor. Relieved Ophelia looked around. That one had been pure luck. But at least she had managed to get one new customer. @The Awakened Salad
