    I always hand them over to the library. Though they started to get picky, only accepting books that aren't older than a year. So right now I'm looking for a smaller one, that doesn't have these regulations. Apart from that I also give them to friends, if they are interested and I store a lot in the attic. Some I firmly believe I maybe will read again, or maybe my children will. And then I have to confess I love to collect books. Giving them away hurts, even if I didn't like them... So I keep them and store them and use every meter of wall for a new shelf to give them a warm and dry home

    Finished hyperion and started the second part this morning. I really liked it.

    Althea heard the woman sobbing behind her, and then she started to scream. Althea recognized the screams, they were primal, they were helpless. Max. Such a change in such a short time, these pure emotions in the woman's voice. The screams rang a chord in her memory, she knew how it felt when there was nothing but fear, desperation, when you were controlled by them, when you almost ceased to exist... "Althea." Brashen's voice was quiet, but she knew him well enough to realize what this was about. "One for many. Sacrifice one for all to have a path to follow." "I know." He sounded sudued and she touched him, cupped him in her hand. "I don't like it either." She told him honestly and he nodded reluctantly. "We need to talk about this." He announced and it was her time to nod. "Later." She replied and Brashen agreed. "Later." Althea concentrated on the situation. Solace reacted, he really reacted. They had to have struck a nerve. "Toa," Max said. "Activate the poison." His voice was strained and as she moved closer towards them, tried to prepare herself to get them away should they be wrong. His eyes were closed. Protecting himself. For a moment she wanted to tell him to open his eyes, he needed to see an attack, but then she simply stepped in front of him, her body a shield between him and Solace. She wouldn't ask him to watch this. Not now, never. She could watch for him, warn him should the need arise. Brashen turned around, looked for any threats from behind and she touched him again grateful for his silent support. They were a team, the two of them and she loved him dearly.

    Before we start the new era, I propose to make one summary with everything that was decided, discussed. So that everybody can look it up.

    That immediatly brightened my morning. They are beautiful!!! We'll be counting birds next week, to get an estimate over their population.

    Definitly the library! You can't throw books away! You could also mive them to the attic, if you run out of space. Or give them to friends. But don't throw them away!!!

    Althea reached out for their weapons, turned them to dust. Then she destroyed the lock of the door leading to the roof. "I can buy you some time." She told Max and Toa. "I don't think I can fight them, and I suspect there will be more." She stared at the soldiers, already organising themselves new weapons. They needed to hurry. She checked her spheres and grimaced when she saw how many were dull. @BooksBeforeDeath @I think I am here.

    Althea knelt down next to the woman, prepared to wake her up. All around buildings were crashing. They would need to hurry. And strangely, when she looked over at Solace rising into the air, she wasn't afraid anymore. It would work, or it wouldn't. "At your sign." She looked at Max, and then breathed in stormlight, prepared to send the woman where Solace would see her. @I think I am here.

    Althea nodded at Toa. "Not to think about what we're doing here, but yes, maybe it works. We don't know the full extent of his powers yet, but what he's done so far was incredibly." Forcefully she shoved the memory of Max lying bleeding on the floor aside, his eyes dead, his body slowly cooling. He's alive she reminded herself again. Max is alive. "You said you're family was disappointed that you are no full feruchemist. So you are able to access some kind of investiture?"

    As far as I understand it, you need to have a character representing your position. So as a council member,you need a character that's a council member as well.

    "Which you aren't right now." Althea stressed, not mentioning that he had been. "And yes, more or less such a deal. The only problemis, that we are still guessing, and have no guarantee, that this will work. If he reads our minds at the wrong time, he discovers the trap easily."

    Althea thought about his question for a while. She knew the whole parents cast you out thing too well. "I grew up in an orphanage. The Ghostbloods recruited me and I worked in their laboratories since I was thirteen. Climbed up through the ranks, and now I am here and try to stop our former leader, because he asked me to."

    When they reached the building. Althea sat down, observed Solace walking closer. She made sure to keep enough stormlight, to be able to react should it be neccessary. "Why did you join the Ghostbloods?" She asked Toa to bridge the time until he arrived. @Ookla the Meeker

    Althea nodded. "Let's get into position. Would you mind to lend me a hand to carry her over to that building?" She pointed at a place she thought could work well.
