  1. Lizanne followed him, without really thinking about it. The light, it could be dangerous, or it could be a way back. Or nothing more but a light.
  2. "A few hours." Zokora raised an eyebrow at him. "Sure you need noone? Then follow me." She turned around and walked out of the building, waited for him there.
  3. Althea followed Max, looked around for some kind of sign that they were heading in the right direction. The kid was smart, she gave him that. "No thank you. I need to clean the shower anyways." And it wasn't important right now. Smell, disgusting things her boots hit. It didn't matter. She hadn't been on a real mission in a while, but it felt great to do something, to be active and not only read some reports.
  4. "They can leave if they want to." "Do you think you could climb on some rubble and take a look around? A wood, smoke, buildings. Anything like that. We need food and water."
  5. Zokora stepped into the building and looked for Lusk. She ignored the endless debate, instead headed over to him, spoke to him in a soft voice. "I am here on behalf of the Righthand and our leader. You need to come with me for a moment. Do you need to leave someone here?" @I think I am here.
  6. Lizanne followed Wilhelm out of the cellar, listening to Renata calling for survivors. She saw him take out a knife and put it away again, before he adressed her. "Here." She limped over, coughing a bit in the dust. "Are you alright?" @ZincAboutIt @I think I am here.
  7. Althea nodded. Sounded like another Radiant. "I studied investiture." She replied which was basically true, but not the whole story. You never knew who was listening.
  8. Althea thought about his idea and the sighed. If they split up, they were easier to catch, to defeat. If they didn't it would take them even longer. But then it depended on the teams, and - she didn't want to leave Max, but it seemed logical. The thought was even more frightening, again that crossroads. How could she decide something like that? How could she choose? She looked at the kid from the Canton. "What are you specialized in?" @Minato™ "Tactically speaking, is splitting up wise?" She answered Max question with one of her own. He had a lot more experience than she in that regard.
  9. She shook her haed, although the offer sounded great, alluring. "No. It will help, but it will only push my body even farther beyond his borders." Slowly she lay down, extended a hand towards him. It felt good to lie down to relax. She was so tired, but at the same time, Ben was here, and he didn't mind her room, he cared. "Just stay with me for a moment? Please?"
  10. Shana fought with her shirt for a while, then finally let it drop to the ground and pulled another one over her head. Her hands were shaking so badly it took her two tries to grab the new shirt of the floor. "I'm ready. You can turn around again." She told Ben and felt incredibly stupid.
  11. Shana nodded, sank on her bed. Sitting was good, better than standing or walking. Tiredly she started to get rid of her bloody shirt and stopped when she realized Ben was watching. Blushing deeply she stared at her feet. "Turn around for a moment?"
  12. Her room was a mess, but usually she would have explained, that there was a system, that she had sorted her cloths and what she needed to do sports, carefully checking her equipment. On her table were her books, next to some half finished homework. But right now she was too exhausted to care, instead she simply rested her head on his shoulder, hugged him weakly and trusted him to keep her upright.
  13. Lena only laughed at the words. She doubted the marines cared for anybody but crow. Otherwise they wouldn't have warned those attending the party. "It's good that Lita is safe, but then, given her new accessoires," Lena tapped her arm at the place where she had seen Lita's spikes, "I expected her to get away without trouble." She continued to smile at Laurelai, the streets were full of stories about those ruling the alleys. And Lena liked stories, true or exaggerated. Her eyes stayed on Laurelai's face, looked for some kind of reaction.
  14. Althea dropped a sphere down the sewer and it sunk beneath some dirty water, illuminating the place below. It was hard to judge how deep it was, but Devaan was right. She could heal whatever damage the drop would inflict. Crouching down she lowered herself into the sewer, gagged from the stench, and then let herself drop below. Water splashed up around her and the stench became almost unbearable. Her cloths partially soaked with whatever was swimming, Althea stopped herself. Don't think, just concentrate on the mission. "You can come down. It's not too deep." She called to Max and Devaan and then picked up her sphere, looking around. @I think I am here. @Nohadon
  15. Shana leaned on Ben, let him take a part of her weight. Tiredly she followed him to the door, exhaustion let her stumble over her own feet. "I'm sorry." She forced the words out of her mouth, they were a couple for a few hours and she had spent most of that time beating herself bloody with Rob. Wincing everytime she heard Rob stumble, and the fall down the stairs she wished to was strong enough to help him. But right now she was glad she didn't fall down every few steps herself, and that was only because of Ben's help.
  16. "Sure. This is purely revenge motivated. Because Crow captured some of the Acutes, and now Azrael brought his marines to capture Crow." Lena looked at her again, finally realizing where she had seen her. The tavern, and later here at the party. "You're a friend of Lita's, aren't you? I'm Lena." She hastily changed the cake to her other hand, wiped it on her pants and offered it to Laurelai.
  17. Lena nodded, smiled at the panicked looking woman staggering towards the stage. She knew that face, but had a hard time placing it right now. "Oh we plan to leave soon. But he's looking for a friend, so we're just waiting for him to show up. Hopefully he's around here somewhere." Hopping down the stage she offered the woman some cake. "It's good. These people here obviously hired a master cook. Cake of this quality is rare."
  18. Althea nodded grimly, wiped some rain out of her face. "Frob is said to have some contacts. Somewhere down there, in this area." She confirmed and took a look at the grate, tried to lift it. Nothing moved. Narrowing her eyes she inhaled more stormlight and then bribed the grate itself. If there was a locking mechanism she didn't see it and it was a lot easier to convince what she saw. So the grate would have to do. There were many of these grates, leading into the city below the city, but Zokora had recommended that one. If it was the one Frob used, she hadn't known. The grate changed, and then vanished in a spray of water. Althea looked down, then stepped back to give Max and Devaan the possibility to look down as well. It was hard to judge how deep it was, but it was dark.
  19. "What?" Lena started to turn and stopped, when her voice loudly came out of the speakers. "Uhm... hi!" She told whoever was listening, grinning again. Somehow this was funny, like something you would find in a movie. The hero stands on a stage to find his lost friend, while a large battleship was aiming its canons at the building. Heartwarming and dramatic. "So, we're looking for a guy called Nekorb. If you have seen him, just send him over! Nekorb, if you hear this, we're on the stage." Careful she switched the micro off again, handed it over to Alask with an exaggerated gesture. Now it was time for the lost friend to show up and walk to the hero and together they would ride into the sunset. Or something like that. "Are you hungry? I grabbed some of their food." She offered Alask a small cake. @xinoehp512
  20. Althea stopped in front of a building, or rather what was on the ground in front of it. An entrace - an entrance to a part of a city she hadn't stepped into in years. It had taken awhile, but then the man Zokora had found had started to talk, unwillingly, but he had talked. He didn't knew much, but he had given them a name. Frob, and he thought Frob might have worked for Vesuvius once. Althea knew, that it would be difficult to find someone, if you only had a name, and probably a false one, but then she figured they had to try. Zokora was still combing through the city, as did the Canton. Nobody could disappear completely. But for now they had a name, and more importantly, they had a place, a general direction, somewhere this Frob might head, someone he might visit. @I think I am here. @Nohadon @Ark1002
  21. Lena followed him to the stage, walked the few steps up and then looked for a micro. She grabbed it and softly tapped against the top. It was dead. With a sigh she looked around for a switch to turn it on.
