"Where is here?" she asked, her hand gently touching Mahad. "That was me." She added, gestured towards the graves. "I first killed Rob and then the others. But it was an accident." her voice broke, when she realized how lame it sounded.

Shana whirled around. "James." She whispered. "But I killed you. I killed them all. I'm a monster." "Don't leave, I didn't want to. It was an accident, I never wanted to kill Rob."

Devaan. He'd helped her, when she lost earlier. Althea nodded in reply, watched him continue to search. She wasn't used to rely on a stranger, she relied on Max and she usually felt bad for it. He had his own problems. But he was so confident that Devaan could help, that she nodded again. Later. "Over here." She called out to them. "Look here. Shana only nodded, reached out for his sleeve. He really was here. "I'm sorry, I burned the house down, and I never wanted to kill them Edwin, I lost control, just like I killed Rob, but I never wanted to." She looked at him pleadingly. "Don't go away. I won't hurt you." Don't leave me alone, too.

Bill grunted something that could have been an agreement. "No money to pay for that money. No influence either. And then these preachers heat the situation up as well."

The shadows dragged her away, out of the house and she screamed again, tried to get free and the finally they let go of her. Behind her the house was a ruin, all around the corpses of the others were lying around. Of all others except. "Edwin." She whispered and then hastened over to him. "Edwin, please, I never meant to, I - you're alive." Relief had her smile, he was alive she hadn't killed all of them. @Eluvianii

Lizanne remained sitting. "He is right. We need to get to sleep." "I can take first watch with him, and later two others take over?" She suggested, hoping this was no mistake.

Zokora listened, then typed an order and sent it to their safe houses, labs and whoever else was in the city. Evacuate, lock the doors, no need to panic, but everybody who is not crucial has to get out. Then she contacte a part of the army, instructed them to start evacuating the city. Maybe she was wrong, but her gut told her, that this was going to end badly. Wordlessly she sent a copy of her messages to Lusk, to keep him uptodate. @I think I am here. @Ark1002

Shana dreamt. "That's it. I don't need you here anymore. You're a danger to everybody." Doc gestured towards the door and Shana wanted to protest, but he waved her words away. "Who do you want to kill next?" He asked and she saw the grave in the backyard. Leona. She'd killed Leona. Shocked she nodded and headed towards the door, but then there was a scream. Ben. Running towards him, she saw a Voidbringer strangle him. Screaming she rushed over, tackled the Voidbringer and when it brought a blade up, she burned him, until nothing was left but a charred corpse. It felt so good, so right to finally do something and she smiled at Ben. He stared at her, terror in his eyes. "That was Luther. He wanted to help me." Shana looked down and he was right, that was Luther's shirt. Whimpering she stared at Ben, but he moved away from her. "Rob was an accident. Leona, now Luther. Shana you need to stop." He backed further away, disgust on his face. "No, it was..." She tried to explain, but Doc grabbed her shoulder, James, Tylor and the others behind him. "You're a danger to all of us." A blade and then another. "No, please." She begged them and looked around, searched for a way out. Rob, his body covered in terrible burns smiled at her. "You killed me. Remember that fight? You're a liability." Shana moved back until she stood pressed against a wall. "Please." She begged and felt her surge spike again. A stool next to her started to burn, the smoke reaching out for her, like tentacles, grabbing her, binding her. Shana screamed.

Bill watched the stranger go and turned back to Gant, shrugging at his own words. "Sorry 'bout that. Stressed out a bit. The bandits and then we have these preachers and the other farmers, don't make my life easier." He shook his head. "Got this meeting tomorrow, they want to talk about the land and how to distribute it and if I can keep mine. And I don't even know if I should go there. No idea who told them, they're in charge, but alas, they are." "Is there anything else you need?" @I think I am here.

Lena grabbed the remaining beads and her own bottle and followed her outside. She was about to throw her bottle, when she saw a disturbance in the air in front of Warden and paused. Dust flying in the air around strangely. Picking up a pebble she flipped it in the area and it fell to the ground harmlessly. Strange. Warden had to be able to control the wind, like a spirit. Maybe she was a magician of some sorts. Lena would have to ask her later.

Zokora bowed slightly. "Thank you for your hospitalitay and the welcome." What was his title, it had been written down in her folder. Hopefully he wasn't offended, by her leaving it away. She didn't add anything more, left the rest to Lusk as he outranked her. @I think I am here.

A smile ghosted over her lips and she tightened her fingers around his. It was what she needed. He trusted her. I told you about our leader in my head? About the council? They are all there, chatting talking. She touched her temple with her fingers, to indicate what she meant. I'm not sure how it's supposed to work, but Lusk started asking about how to control those whose ranks are below ours. Her voice turned strained, Maybe I can shield you from them, stop them from influencing you. Lusk won't I made sure of that, but the others... Focussing she concentrated on the net spreading out between them. It was somehow similar to her bond with Max, but also completely different. After some searching she found Max and grabbed the thread leading to them. She tried to leave him alone, to only claim the connection to him, to block it from the others. She had no idea if it would work, but it was worth a try. I feel naked Max, vulnerable. As if they ripped my cloths of and stare at my body. I know they only hear what I project there, but I'm not sure about him and I don't know what they will be able to do once they learn how to use it. I don't want to have them in my head. I, it rips me apart, it drives me crazy. Swallowing she kept her hand with his, enjoyed the contact. Go on, she had to go on. "Maybe we need to search the ceiling. Last time we went down, maybe it's time to go up. If nothing's there I can dry the tunnel as well." @Minato™ @Ark1002

"I have no idea. I've never been inside the forge before. Alask would know." Hastily she opened one cupboard after the next, looked inside. "Etching. You might need some place, something to sit down, not too close to the ground -" She opened another door and grinned at a bottle with an orange looking liquid. "That one looks -" She opened the bottle, fanned the air above towards her nose, "And smells right." Grinning she grabbed an empty bottle as well and halfed the liquid, then added some of the silvery beads and swirled the liquid with the the beads around. They dissolved, until they were gone. "I have no idea if that works. But it will be fun to try it out. Just don't hit our shade. With some luck he'll calm down once the other one is gone."

Althea grit her teeth in frustration. She had no idea what to do against Lusk. He cared about nothing, but his position, and now she had lost that advantage as well. To have Lusk in her head, Hellbent. Their endless chatting drove her crazy. But it also meant she couldn't step back. If she did, they could control her. Cold fear had her gag and she made sure to shut it all away, to give him not more ammunition against her. At Max words she looked up, the dam. Max. They could control him as well, they could spy on them. Stepping up next to him she gently took his hand. She had to protect him, he was her family, the love of her life. There had to be a way, maybe she could shield him, use her own. She felt sick at the thought, bile rising in her throat. They had been her home but here, right now they were a threat, a sword hanging above her head. I need to try something. Do you trust me?

Zokora waited for the marine, her nerves taunt. She turned and looked at Lusk to see if he wanted to say something.

"It's stupid to stay awake the whole night. We should share the burden." Lizanne took another sip of the water and grimaced. She would turn into an alcholic in no time, if they didn't find anything else. But then, did it matter? She would have to place her life in the hands of these guys, and she was the weakest one, after Arun maybe. They would kill her, if it fit their purpose. She grimaced and drank again. If she stayed strong, she had to. She didn't want to die here.

"Hellbent offered to watch." She told him, in case he had missed it earlier. She wasn't comfortable with him watching, but then she trusted none of them completely. "We don't have a choice. We need to sleep. Otherwise we'll make mistakes, or fall asleep without some kind of shelter."
