"Nerin is better, John and Aben left. I haven't seen Lance in a while." Attayl replied and leaned against a nearby wall. Her eyes rested on him, how he sat there, staring at the floor. He seemed sober, which was a feat on its own and in general seemed better than before. "The streets are calming down. I think you can leave in a few days." She told him, although she still wished that he would stay here. "Once everything is blown over, not many will care about you and that article anymore. And maybe Nerin or I know some contacts to ensure a safe travel."

Attayl smiled at Nerin again, then headed into the kitchen. She made some hot water, then cooked a tea for Brillin. Carefully she placed everything on a serving plate and then walked upstairs. To her surprise Brillin was awake already and so she simply sat the plate down on the small table. He was talking with the woman Neri had opened the door to earlier. "I made some tea for your stomach." She explained, laughed awkwardly. "But you don't seem to need it, so I can drink it as well, I guess. Here," she handed him the bag full of tea. "maybe you can use it again." @I think I am here. @John Flamesinger

Shana thought about his words. There was some merrit to them. fight for something. Maybe it was more important what she was fighting for than how good she was fighting for it. Shana smiled at him and put her hand on his. "Thanks James." With a sigh she look at the ceiling. "Do you think Doc will be mad, if I have to repeat the year? Some of my grades are so bad, I'm not sure if I can polish them up enough in the second half of the year to not fail completely."

He was paling and she was about to leave, then decided to stay. He was a bondsmith. He was supposed to know such things. "The usual one." She replied, stared at her clasped hands. "I haven't spoken another one, yet." Getting up she started to walk around nervously. "Let's talk about that oath." "There was no need to burn Rob's flesh. If I had been strong enough, to accept my defeat - but it was easier to hurt him, than to face the fact that he is stronger. I knew my surge could be fatal, but it was nothing more but a game. I wanted to try it out, did you see how he watched the fire? I scarred him, I hurt him, because I was weak." She made an angry wave with her hand then went on. "And he's not even mad at me. He's just kind and nice and hiding behind his mask. He only agreed to all of that because I was scared. He nearly died only to help me." "I am a monster James. That's why I'm here. That's the only thing I can do. Nobody needs a nice Dustbringer. You need someone willing to kill and to fight. Not someone scared of their surge and unable to win a single fight. I'm useless and Doc knows. I feel like a huge mistake. You will die if I mess it up, if I don't train enough, but I can't train it. Not without killing someone first."

Mike unwrapped some foil and then threw the roll over to her. His aim was off and it was trundling towards the wall to her left.

Mike climbed on Seom's shoulder and started to fasten the foil to the ceiling. He put one hand against a wall to remain standing and used more tape than was neccessary. "Can one of you head to the other side, so that I can throw it over the Vortex to you?" He called out to Wes and Freedom. @Ark's Boyfriend @I think I am here. @Silva

Zokora stared at him in surprise. In the tunnels? That had to be a trap. When had they started talking about coming inside of the tunnels? She had asumed, that they were safe, that it would be enough to escort people to an entrance. She took a deep breath and then inclined her head in gratitude. "I am honored by your offer, but I will only agree, if you really need our troops in there." She made gestured to the houses, the city around. "I am here because of the people, not because of your tunnels. If we can be of assistance inside we will help, but I would never ask this of you. I figured we could help to escort refugees close to the entrances and then you take over."

Zokora thought about her next words carefully. "Your tunnels are easier accessible than what we have at our disposal. Our troops could offer protection, and we plan together which squads go where. Then we are able to secure them better and can methodically evacuate the city, without the need of troops checking houses already empty." =========== Grateful over the help Mike threw Seom some tape to keep the foil in place. Wes and the girl helped as well. "I'm Mike." He introduced himself when he handed her some foil for a wall. Behind him the Vortex continued to turn around and around, but somehow he believed it was shrinking. His imagination? Maybe. Stepping back from the walls Mike glanced upwards. "Anybody got a good idea for the ceiling?" Outside a thunder rolled over the city. @Silva @I think I am here. @Ark's Boyfriend

Shana led him into the living room and closed the door behind them. It was empty for now, almost everybody was outside at the fire. "How do I know if I'm walking towards breaking my oath?" She asked slowly.

Mike took the foil and started to fasten it to the wall of the room, carefully keeping away from the Vortex. "I could need another hand or two." He called out to the rest of his squad and the girl. @Silva @Ark's Boyfriend ============================ Zokora listened to his explanations and then nodded. "We've started the evacuation as soon as the situation was getting out of hand. So the first ones we reached were those close to PlasmaCore, and from there moving outward. The red mist led to losses, and the creatures made everything more difficult." She pulled up a map, added a filter or two and showed it to him. She made sure to obsure the exact locations, only highlighted the quarters and how many were there at the moment. "This is how our forces are distributed at the moment. We have some squads around the building, as the Vortex is spitting out the monster we have to fight all over the city. If we manage to eliminate them before they can start killing, then we save a part of the population and make it easier for our soldiers." No need to add, that while they had managed to dispose of some of the monsters, they had been overrun by the first larger waves.
