  1. “Elsecall, now.” Althea listened to Brashen, without questioning his command. She couldn’t see what was going on, but Brashen could. She mentally touched Max and reached out into the bracelet at the same time. It was almost empty, but almost wasn’t empty. Her thoughts brushed over the Ronin and the kid, then she ripped the border between the realms apart. She was fast, but still it was instinct that saved her. Heat rolled over her body, burned her skin and her eyes hurt even more, despite her closed eyelids, but she didn’t stop, Shadesmar was her sanctuary and so she went there, used it to get away from the explosion. There wasn’t enough left to go far, and so she simply went back to Frob’s hideout, because it was a place she remembered well, because it was close. She stumbled to the ground, when her foot hit a leg Hellbent had ripped off earlier. Large burns covered her body and she curled up in pain, trapped in darkness. Max? She asked, felt along their bond, tried to find him, begged for an answer, for a sign that he was alive. @Ax's Boyfriend @I think I am here. @Minato™
  2. The guards followed his command. Some of them made sure to get the civilians out of the way.
  3. When Sagitta opened her eyes she was bound, thrown over the back of a horse. Miserable she tried to look around, saw nothing but a long treck full of horses. She groaned in pain, and slowly drifted off again. It was night when she opened her eyes a second time, and she was bound tightly to a tree. She was alone, but a small cup of water stood close by, together with some food. Her body hurt and she had wiggle a bit, until she was able to grab the cup and lift it to her lips. the water felt glorious in her raw throat and she gulped it down quickly, afraid, that they would take it away again. Then she grabbed the hard bread and ate it as well, then the lone carrot. She was still hungry, but it was better than nothing. Only slowly it dawned what had happened, where she was. Caught. They had caught her, bound her. Kidnapped. Fear constricted her throat and she send a quick prayer to intensity, that she would watch over her, help her escape. Kidnapped. By the enemy. this was prone to end badly. She stayed away throughout the night, afraid of every sound that came, feared that they would take her, that they would hurt her. But nobody came. Now and then a guard walked by, one even brought her new water, but apart from that, they left her alone. A woman escorted her a bit away in the morning to relieve herself, then it was back to the horses. She was never alone, never unbound, the rope strong and the guards kept a close eye on her. There was no way to escape. Her days blurred together, the fear never leaving, but subsiding, it got burried beneath a blanket of hunger and weariness.
  4. Shana followed him to the food and grabbed a platter. Then she put whatever looked nice on it, until it was full. She would have to return for dessert later.
  5. Shana grinned as well. "We could grab some food, skip the dancing part and go for a walk?" She suggested, because she knew how uncomfortable he was around crowds. And she didn't mind. She wanted to spend some time with him.
  6. "Sure." Shana continued to hold his hand, unwilling to let go. "It's over there." Leaning over she added quieter. "I can't dance. But I'll try for you and improvise something."
  7. Attayl tried to hide more behind her cup when Alyssa returned and continued to discuss with Brillin. She felt so incredibly stupid. Books, atmospheres, planets and harmony. Well at least she knew harmony. How there could be 14 of them she didn't know, but as nobody asked her she simply pulled up her shoulders, tried to appear smaller. Brillin would never look at her again, with someone like Alyssa around. She was intelligent, and good looking and she obviously like to discuss things with him. She was grateful when Nerin changed the topic to something she knew about. "No he left a while ago. Back to the gang I suppose."
  8. "Do you want to dance?" Shana asked and searched for the others. They were all here and she smiled when she saw them talking. But for now, she would spend some time with Ben. "Or we could grab some food first?"
  9. He chuckled and she smiled as well. It felt good to hear laughter again, after everything they needed some laughter. Especially if it was Brillin laughing. She nodded at his explanation and looked out of the window. The sky was blue, as always, the thought, that the air up in the sky had a special name seemed ridiculous, but then so many things had special names. If she could read, then she could learn all of this. How the air was called, and so many things she didn't even know that they existed. "So the blue air is the atmosphere?" She asked mostly to confirm that she'd gotten in right.
  10. Dead, he was dead. Mike continued to clutch Seom's hand, glad that he wasn't alone. "You aren't here because of me?" He asked weakly, aware that Lusk was unsatisfied with their progress, maybe even with his behaviour as well. But it didn't matter. Kumiko hopefully wasn't here because of him.
  11. "Dark ...Alley." Mike whispered, turned to her, but not really seeing her. "They will take us, all of us. They will use us. They always do. They bind you, they play with you, and you have no chance to escape." His voice broke and he swallowed, his arm turning into one of squid's for a moment. "Ark sent me to KoTiel. I wasn't born like this, you know."
  12. Mike closed his fingers tightly around Seom's hand. Mac, Voidus, the Stranger. Mac, Voidus the Stranger. Mac, Voidus, the Stranger. MAC, VOIDUS, THE STRANGER. Flee, they had to flee, to get away. The Vortex was a child compared to them, nothing but an annoyance. Instead he only stared, frozen, panicking at Kumiko. She was already studying him, she was planning what to do. He had waited for this moment ever since KoTiel had sent him away. You didn't let an experiment run around on his own. @Ark's Boyfriend
  13. Wolf growled at her in fear and Mike strained to push him back. His hand closed around the knife again. DA. Dark Alley. Here they were. Takamine would take him, would grab him, he took a step backwards, scales covering his skin, then fur. Another step, the smell of the anesthetic KoTiel had used, the table, the shadows behind the windows. Procupine smelled the air, but Mike shoved her away as well, fought to stay in his own body for once. His eyes rested on Takamine again, never leaving her. He was trapped, trapped and she would hunt him, catch him. Drag him into the shadows. He had to be strong, for his squad, for them all, but he took another step, his face pale, eyes wide in fear. "What..." He stuttered, tried to speak. "Doyouwant?" He spit the words out hastily, more to say anything, than because he wanted to know. He knew why she was here. She had more spikes, had another experiment she wanted to try out. @kenod
  14. "I haven't even covered half of the ceiling." Mike replied, but hopped down from Seom's shoulders. He turned around when he saw a woman with fox ears approach them and paled. Another creature of the Vortex? His hand flew to his knife and eyed her wearily. "Who are you?" @kenod
  15. Sagitta stormed forward. It was easy to soften the impact of her armor on her joints, easy to run as fast as she could. Forward. Her feet hit the ground, and then she was there. She lifted her sword high above her head and slowed, let them come to her. Around her, her comrades did the same, and then they clashed. The nomands were used to fight differently, less structured and they tended to destroy their ranks with their arrows, with their screams. Sagitta screamed as well, let the rage of a fight take over. Aim for the head, use your sword to keep them away. Left and right, left and right, block, and then forward again. Slowly they moved forward, comrads falling now and then, but their armor protected her from most of the blows. More screaming. Another group of nomands was charging down the hill, into the lighter troops to their left side. Sagitta knew what was about to happen, cursed when she realized, that their lookouts had failed, or died. The lighter troops started to flee, broke through her own ranks, and the world dissolved in chaos. In the blink of an eye her line was gone, those protecting her sides were gone. All around her people started dying, nomads coming close, too close. Sagitta let her sword fall to the ground, drew a knife instead, a shorter weapon, suitable to close ranged combat. She stabbed someone in the stomach, the warm blood flowing over her hand, felt someone close on her from behind and turned around, hit him with her plated glove. The woman stumbled back. Sagitta slowly turned around again, stabbed a man clinging to her arm, tried to understand what was going on, who was enemy, who was friend. She softened the blows hitting her, stood for another heartbeat, for two, then she stumbled to the ground, when three of them turned against her. Her head hit something and the world turned black.
  16. Attayl continued to sip her tea, hesitated and then asked shyly. "What are you talking about? What's an atmosphere?" She blushed when she realized, that it had been a dumb question. "Never mind." She added quickly and tried to hide her face behind her cup.
  17. He looked to her before talking about leaving. To her, then his tone changed. What was it supposed to mean? Alyssa tried to prove a point, but Attayl only partially listened. She tried to wrap her head around what was going on, what was happening. "Why don't we focus on our current problem?" She suggested, although it was wasn't the question she wanted to ask. She wanted to talk to Brillin, ask about his words, understand his glance. She took a cup of tea and sipped it slowly. Nerin was talking again. That was good. Better than staying quiet.
  18. Shana blushed at the compliment and offered him her hand. "Let's go inside?" She asked and grinned as well.
  19. alright. Can two of us use the same system?
  20. Can we use the Dragon magic as well? Or Mass Effect?
  21. Shana smiled excitedly when she got out of the car. Almost everybody was older than she was and she felt small next to the old pupils with their beautiful dresses. Some she knew from training, but most of them were strangers. She waited for Ben and looked around for some familiar faces. @Lunamor
